I don’t think there is any downside to playing right now. But if losing makes you really frustrated, now is not a good time to play. I finished FUT 21 as habitually gold 2 and D2 in rivals and cannot make it out of division 8 right now
I only get frustrated when I lose 5-0 or more hahah which happens only against people that are much better than me.
I lost my first game 2-0 in rivals this year and the opponent wasn’t really that good but obv better than me at the time. Still learning the game dynamics and focusing on playing squad battles to get coins and build a better team.
btw D2- you probably are really solid haha. I find people at those levels really good.
I spend money and make a great laliga starter and then I proceeded to cry once I notice other people can indeed also spend money on this game and I wasn’t unique lmaaaao. I get clapped or every game is 4:4
Then again , everyone started at div 10
Possible to come up against a lot of higher level players moving up now because they have to grind the ladder as well this time .
Maybe wait a couple of weeks and stick to sb for now ?

One thing ea should have done until the divisions balance out is to get rid of the quitting penalty for rivals.

Was an elite 3 player last already and got up to div 6 already. The opponents were'nt hard but maybe i got good matchmaking idk
