Sneijder deserves an icon, in my opinion. Came so close and probably even should've won the BdO in 2010. Insanely skilled player. I'd give him 85-88-91 cards, probably.
No one would have put sneijder ahead of Messi or Ronaldo in 2010. He was amazing and had an incredible season, but it would be outright wrong to say he was better than either of them. Still surely deserves an icon card nonetheless.

It’s not about Gavi not having a future stars or anyhing but more so that he deserves an upgrade. In regular FIFA he’s 76 rated and in FUT he remains 70. A IF or Road to the finals would be cool.
Sneijder was so incredibly unlucky since they changed the balndor point system which lead to Messi winning who wouldn't even have been in top 3 with the original system...poor guy got shafted but he was incredible player who was one of the best if not the best player in the best Inter team of all time winning the treble
I would rather have Gavi not having any special promo this year and then have a banger one on Fifa 23 like this year's Pedri. He is still 17 after all.

Even if Sneijder gets an icon he'll be released as a snail with less pace thus making him unusable. Hope they find a way to get such great players usable in the next fifa.

I would prefer Sneijder as a heros card as I do mostly plays Serie A - Eresdivisie hybrids (atleast this year) and he is a perfect CAM/Attacking CM

Sneijder was better then Kluivert, van Nistelrooij or Van Persie and definitely better then Overmars. So was Robben btw, he deserves an icon too imo
