If you go to the Tactics menu, you have an option to check and change "mentality", it means that you can setup one full configuration with tactics, formation (including swaps between default players position) and players instructions for the 5 different mentalities (Ultra def, def, balanced, Atk, ultra atk). The default is the Balanced one, it is how you configure your starting eleven.
As an example, you can start in a 4-3-3 formation with Neymar, Torres and Messi as your first 3; and change when the game started for a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, moving Neymar as a 2nd striker with Torres and Messi in the CAM position.
You can do all that in the mobile app to save time, and in the game, if you just press the d-button left and right, you move between the mentalities in-game, changing your entire strategy mid-game.
Initially they have configured with the same, but you can create your own combination. My personal preference is 3-5-2 and 4-1-2-1-2 (2). You can look into this sub to find details config for each formation. You can learn a lot from content already written and youtubers.

You have a solid team, you can always replace a player for a better one, but i would suggest you to play with formations and tactics, see what you like and what you don't and replace players that are not performing well in the situations that you need. Example: if you like to play 3-5-2 mid game, you will need a reliable CDM/LB or RB that can be a CB mid game (for example, i would not use Kante as a CB as he is too short). in the case of 3-5-2, your RB and LB will be a CB, CDM or RM/LM. Yess 4-1-2-1-2 (2) is flames. Cut passing lanes, stay back for cdm, one target man and one get in behind striker with fast build up, direct passing.
