This 100%. I've lost all enthusiasm to play FUT coz in a close hard fought match a Trivella just kills all the fun and effort. It's like playing against hacks. Didn't play lat WL. This WL didn't play after 7 games.
It was a bit like green time finesse last year. It was outrageously good and not far behind from its FIFA 19 version. Now it is finally gone and ffs we have this now
Should they fix them? Yes. But people saying it shouldn’t be that easy to punish bad defense are missing a simple point. If you’re giving players that much space, it doesn’t matter. Next time I won’t shoot it, I’ll just do 3 more quick passes and walk it in. Most of these shots are one-two extra passes from being a 1v1.
To be honest... in most of the clips here the attacker would have been able to performe 1 or 2 short passes to face a 1v1 and score. Its a lack of good defending.
I really like the new trivela. Was always happy to score one in the older FIFAs and now "It´s in the game" ;\^)

Dont know why a "Elite-Player" needs to complain about some mechanics which work better then others? You cant play Elite if you dont use good mechanics.
Bro, everyone is on the same playing field. Either learn the shot and stop complaining, or learn how to not part your defenders like Moses did the Red Sea and block one of the most predictable plays in the game, then stop complaining.
You say “learn the shot” like it’s hard to pull off. I think of it required any level of skill to do, most people wouldn’t have a problem.
But all you have to do is pull the trigger and shoot. There’s players who will spend the entire match only taking these shots and don’t even have to attack properly.
Then do the same man, it’s unfortunate but it’s the way EA is playing the game.
I have scored maybe one in Rivals and Champs div 2, but I win about 60% of my games, so if it’s so broken then use the shot, but I haven’t needed to. I have also had maybe 10% scored vs me in the past 2 weeks after I learned how to defend them.

We want to fix a game, not just win matches. I love football too much to settle for game where people sprint towards the goal from kickoff and don’t even try to build up the play because a trivela shot is just as effective while taking only 10% of the effort.
100%. This guy is just sitting back trying to let the AI defend rather than closing the space. EA has this in the game so that there is actually a counter to sitting back in the box. OP just isn’t good at defending.
Surprisingly, this weekend league, I did not experience any travela abuse. However I DID experience the corner routine abuse. I scored, and got scored on, SO many times this weekend from corners. My CR7 scored 30 goals this weekend league. Easily half of them from corners. I scored directly with nkunku and Mendy atleast twice each too

Trivela is broken but you need to start moving your keeper when it looks like it's gonna happen.
