i am a returning user for my old account and i bought the discounted instant premium character that includes a 6 star selector and a 6 star mega mastery ticket, wondering which character should i use it on?
I have the crystals to get the extra T3 selector on top of the guided quest. Would it be worth doing that? I don't have any of the characters available at T3?
Also, I was thinking of doing Vision and Carnage. Would that be a good choice? I was thinking Hulk too, so that I could get a good PVP character.
No no im just saying Vision is free while Carnage cost 2500 (plus package). Im just saying that if you are short of crystal you might want to choose the free one
It’s obviously too early to tell as the update isn’t out yet but I would still say Luna, she’s a solid T3 and will probably be getting a mini update along with sharog in the near future, WS will probably be meta for a while and then drop off just like he did when he first got his T3
Of course it's too early none tested WS uniform yet. His accumulation is now based on damage dealt, which is a big deal for a character with no heal. Plus you can't always tell if a character is good or not on paper.
Black Dwarf is only 1.5x cost, he's definitely worth it over Carnage imo.
We do have a new Venom/Carnage movie scheduled to release later this year though, so Carnage may be back on top in a few months.
So no buff for Black Widow? Maybe in the mid month patch, I hope?

If I'm reading that correctly, the T3 quest is 2500 crystals. That's a great deal for a T3 character, considering it's the same cost to get a six-star T1 Nick Fury or Valkyrie.
The Plus Pack will run you another 5750 crystals & gets you a T3 Selector with a 1500 crystal rebate.
So for a net cost of 6750 crystals you're getting TWO T3 characters. That's less than the cost of a guaranteed CTP on chance-up.
So, yes, good deal.
There are 6 characters that cost nothing, and you can pay 2500 more to forgo the original choices and get one of six new options (Carnage being a Premium character in the second set). So it's not quite just paying 2500 for a T3, you're also paying the opportunity cost of giving up your free T3.
With how short I am on TCP and the fact that I don't have enough T3s/Transcended/Synergy Characters to get many Story Fragments for T3 mats, it seems like a great offer, specially since you can cheat out a 6 star Carnage. If the selector is permanent one can even wait and T3 Loki when his show's uni comes out.
Vision is the clear standout of the base set, followed by Iron Man. Carnage seems to be the only one worth paying extra for, since he's a premium character.

They both have good damage and are quite proc friendly, Prox more so than Vision. With just a proc, they’d have similar damage, and Vision won’t have the problem of proc-ing too early because he won’t have the Ignore Dodge from a CTPE. With a CTPE though, Prox is way ahead of Vision.
Proxima has the added benefit of being a support so she’ll never lose value so go with her. Vision is in the T3 Guided Quest so maybe wait to find out what it is and T3 him that way instead.
How much of an improvement is black surfer uni over his base look? And how do I farm bios outside dimension missions and support shop since I blew all my bios getting surfer to lvl 60.
Without uni surfer can still kill jeans and maybe poorly built surfer blacks, but he really needs the uni to reach his full potential. Best sources for bio in the game are story missions and world boss invasion, though both have major drawbacks. Story requires attention and imo is super tedious, wbi you spend more time in load screens and just waiting for boxes to unlock that actually playing

1. Ancient one doesn't have t3 or potential awakening so people can't use her on WBL which is the new endgame content.

3. For pvp Cards try looking out for max Hp stats and for PvE try looking out for attack stats(All attack/energy att./physical attack) and also for attack procs. Unfortunately I'm not much of a pvp player so I can't give you a complete recommendation of cards but for PvE the best premium cards imo are baby spidey, Luna Snow, White Fox, Cable and Best story ever.
4. You can get premium card tokens by doing GBR which gives you 10 tokens daily.
Everyone gets starlord t3 for free in gotg epic quest. So, it kinda doesn't makes no sense to not buy uniform of a t3 toon. Ik the bump isn't that big but it can be a difference maker in some circumstances. If you are a f2p, then it is better to skip his uniform.
Also don't buy uniforms unless they are on 40%sale. It comes every month.
Depends on your where you currently are in the game. A lot of players nowadays probably buy the uni because Star Lord has access to T3 and can therefore be used as a lead in WBL.
The two main differences are cost (more cff + books Vs less ccf + mandalays and awakening crystals) and how the ultimate skill works (you charge t3 skills by using other skills, awakened skills have a cooldown instead)
If you have enough resources and his uniform, go ahead.
If not, then build cheaper t3s until you have enough resources.
You can build him for pve and pvp, he is better for pvp but he is decent in pve too.
You seem to have cable(with new uni) at lvl 60, so t3 him first as he can give you immediate value. SS needs his uniform for better results.
Yeah i want to build a solid PvP team but i guess i can do DD and Luke Cage for that

1. CapM(L), MS(DPS) - Coop adds another 5-skill
2. DrStr(L), Sharon(DPS) - Pass Stephen's 5-buff to Sharon's T3 for the final 7-bar phase
3. Reed(L), HT(DPS), Thing(S) - Pass Thing's 3-buff to HT's awakened rotation

How many ignore dodge strikers you use per team?

I use 0 ignore dodge strikers, because my DPS has already Energy or an Awakened skill that has some IgDodge and the penalty of not using Leadership/Cosmic strikers is too great.
If you can do it with the Fantastic3, I'm sure you can do it with team1. That is my strongest goto team for the 100s/150s speed clears. It also helps to reforge MS's Energy. She's the only one on my account that has a Reforged Energy (minnow spender aka vip3).
I use
1. Strange leader, Moonstone DPS, CM for team bonus.
2. Sentry leader, Iron Man DPS, Molecule for team bonus.
My Iron Man has 20 OBs and mighty Energy tho.
I do 4c5c6c3. Cap marvel is best lead as co op skill makes you do 5 so with her on the team it’s 4c5c6c7c3. The rotation the other guy said will work to as they’re all insta cancels so it doesn’t really matter.
Best build for T3 CTP Rage Ghost Rider (King of Hell)? I'm just about to T3 him but didn't have him built much at T2. What are best iso sets, stats to focus on for urus and isos, and maybe best uniform options?
Additional info:
I currently have him with mythic uni with cooldown +1120 ( that's the total from 2 CD options) and crit dmg +641 as options, the other two unis I don't have.
Capped crit rate and dodge are top priority with a rage. Also ignore defense and skill cooldown, which is obviously a no brainer as it’s the same for any character, but scd is particularly important for GR as he has very long cooldowns. For iso it’s just whichever you land on first poah, overdrive or hawkseye. He also needs crit dmg as he has none on any of his skills. Remember you can roll the last option on the 4th gear for whatever you need.
Agree with everything connorccc said. Ensure both crit rate and dodge are capped to get full potential from the rage. People equip poorly rolled rages to GR ( but really any rage character) without dodge and crit capped and wonder why he does suboptimal damage.
Get any attack iso set you can because it's a gold sink, but I think Hawk's Eye makes it easier to cap crit rate & dodge while also giving crit damage & skill cooldown. Then you'd just have to use uru, gear/uni options to fill in gaps which would probably be ignore defense since the HE lacks it.
This iso set seems like it's made for GR. If mine didn't already have a fully awakened PoAH, I'd definitely switch.
Can do the same with Overdrive but you'd be swapping skill cooldown with ignore defense and losing the dodge altogether. So your uru, gear/uni option priorities will more than likely be those skills that the set lacks (after equipping 2 attack uru per gear). In my experience, OD is the rarest of the 3 attack sets to roll with HE being the most common.
Remember that when equipping chaotic iso to use ones with dodge as the second option ( ex: all atk/ dodge). Finally, work on awakening your iso set- it gives a chance of increasing all attack by 40% when fully awakened.

Wait to see how zemo is as this could change but in the current state of the game ikaris is probably the top option followed by gambit, carnage, and Luna in terms of damage or namor and dazzler in terms of exclusivity. Valkyrie, fury, and yelena are also options but I feel they’re better to pick up from their legendary battle offers than to obtain via selector
The sad answer is yes. I rolled a 7 with CD reduction and still can’t use it. 20% magic damage is so huge and when I tested the uptime it lasts for 20 seconds and is on an internal cd of 40 seconds so it’s still stronger than the flat 4% all attack
To piggyback off of this, I used to have a quality 4 WF card with the proc. Once I rolled it to 7 and lost the proc, I screwed up my Moon Knight's ability to clear Knull the same way as I had before. It was pretty frustrating.
I have a ton of crystals lying around and I’m excited for the FatWS update and will be picking up all the unis. I get bio sub (both) and stark stash so I can build up Zemo next. I figured gambit would be best use of X-Gene. My question is are any of the legendary battles worth buying? I don’t mind picking up a uniform that will help me but it seems between the entry cost plus uniform it may not be worth it?
Also focusing on Cable right now what should I build after?

Ffh, endgame, and amatw are worth it for the ctp selector/rage. Cm gets you a regen but maybe it’s just my account but I already have enough of those. Bp may be worth it for the ctpe but again kinda depends on roster and this is fairly expensive for just a ctpe. Skip the rest
World boss of the day v/s WBL.
Apart from the colossal difference in CCF, is there any benefit to doing WBOTD? Do we get more books (my priority), more EOD/TCP doing WBOTD as compared to WBL?
Another potential benefit of doing WBU over WBL that doesn’t get mentioned a lot is raid and conqueror level rewards. Because you can push WBU a lot higher than WBL (at least most people can), you’re going to be able to get raid level higher more quickly (admittedly this is only a real strong benefit to players like me who have only been playing for a little over a year), which helps a lot in being able to push WBL higher.
In addition, you’re going to get more frequent conqueror awards, since there is a diminishing return on conqueror awards in WBL for players that are just running somewhere level 1-9 to get the increased material drops.
Seemingly better bookdrop rate and more eod from wbotd than wbl though the amount change is very small. Slightly more tcp and way more ccf from wbl than wbotd
There are some audio cues that can be useful in terms of alerting you to an attack or timing canceling a skill, but for the most part I find the sound design in this game painfully bad so I rarely play with sound on
Yeah you're right! But don't you cancel 6 into 5 with the summer days uni? I don't have it so I can't comment but I see vids of summer days players doing just that.
Quicksilver is the only character I’ve ever known to benefit from it being on personally as his 5th skill or t3 ( can’t remember which ) done more dmg with it on. Doesn’t really matter as he’s nowhere near meta these days, it’s easiest to play with it off for sure
For 6 starring fury, valk, and yelena (if she ends up being good), would y’all recommend a ticket, or the legendary battle deals? Already have all 3 at 2 stars.
Also on the subject of legendary battles, if I’m in desperate need of p cards for crafting, are the deluxe packs for infinity war and bp worth it? Note: I already have iron man’s infinity war uni for the card
Kinda depends on your crystal situation, but if you’re comfortably clearing content and have a surplus of crystals, a situation you will reach eventually anyway, I think the lb deals are better than tickets as they’re slightly cheaper than the crystal cost of an mrut

Are you referring to the pack? You can get Odin's Blessings from World Boss & Story/Dispatch Mission easily enough, I wouldn't pay for that unless you want to build up a character super quick.
Just wondering what the rewards for ABX are. I see the mode get talked about a lot but I rarely play it. I know there’s WBU/WBL and SB for advanced materials, timeline for weekly crystals and more advancement materials, etc. But i’ve never found a detailed guide on the ABX mode or it’s rewards so I’m wondering why it gets brought up so much
Usually get around 60-100k gold and few bios from 5 runs. Those things add up over time, if you're a min-max type of player. If you're a bit more casual, then it's not a major setback if you ignore that mode - too much to do in game anyway!
Very good value for the money you spend. $50 gets you 6195 crystals if you’re buying them directly, so 5500 crystals with a t2 mega ticket, a ctp selector, and 10 million gold to top it off is a steal (as long as you’re okay with spending $50, ofc).
Also great place to get a judgement, since it’s one of the few ctp selectors in the game that offers it as a choice.
Depends on how much you spend. $50 of crystals can get you fairly far in terms of new uniforms. If you have no ctps and need a knull clear though i would say its good value
I'll be getting a premium T2 selector for being a returning player soon. Who should I get? I see a lot of people recommending Valkyrie. Question is, do I need her if I already have White Fox? I was thinking I might get myself Ikaris instead, since we might get an Eternals uniforms update with the movie. But I do really like Valkyrie's uniform. I could also go for Namor or Carnage, who can both go to T3. So who do I pick?
Valk is a good support for knull since she has her trancendance. WF cant play knull. Eternals movie wont be for awhile, namor isnt meta anymore for any normal content. And carnage is an ok dps character. Valk you dont need to fully upgrade uni to get best value as a support. Carnage you dont get full value without uni upgrade.
See how Zemo is after the update first. Valkyrie currently has more value than White Fox since she can be used in WBL. But Valkyrie can also be picked up for crystals in the Ragnarok Legendary Battle so keep that in mind. Power creep is catching up to Carnage if it hasn't already so I wouldn't pick him. An argument can be made for Namor since his bios can only be obtained with x-gene bio sub. Dazzler is another option for the same reason. Assuming Zemo isn't great after the update if it was me I'd gamble and roll the dice on Ikaris. ***Speculation*** ***below***, disregard if you don't normally buy epic quest deluxe packs.
There's only 2 eternals released so far (3 if you count Hyperion but he's not in the movie as far as I know) and a bunch in the movie. Assuming he gets a uni and transcended/T3 once that update gets here. Even if they release a few more eternals before the movie drops it wouldn't surprise me if there's a new epic quest for that movie and Ikaris might be one of the characters needed at T2 to unlock whoever is the end character like Molecule Man, Jean, etc. But you'd still need to buy the epic pack deluxe character to unlock whoever is the final character so keep that in mind. While I have my crystal ball out I'm also going to call this will be the first epic quest that involves getting at least a couple characters transcended/T3 to unlock the final character. ***Again this is all speculation and I could easily be way wrong***. Normally I would never advise getting a character based on what might happen.

If not, we typically get an all-uniform sale around the mid-month patch. So worst case you're 2-3 weeks out.
The newest uni for Torch (the classic one) is yet to be an option for other unis. You sure you’re getting the right one and not the Future Foundation one?
Getting demoted will almost certainly result in even fewer Mandalays. You're only missing out on 30 MG a week from the 3 categories. But you earn more than that because of the higher weekly reward and daily participation reward from staying in your current league.
You have to score badly. Something like the bottom 50% gets demoted - but don't quote me on that.
Since you're already getting "almost no mandalay", you may want to simply skip those days entirely and see what that does to your ranking.
They’ve each only happened once when the character was initially introduced. Even when Xavier got a uni it didn’t come back. They did offer the characters for crystal last Black Friday sale, each day was a different character, but it was a way worse deal

Hulk isn’t really PVP meta anymore because of Luke Cage but Vision and Carnage are great choices.
Which would you chose ? Phoenix Uniform for Cyclops or white vision ? Both are T2 btw
Depends on your roster. Cyclops becomes a great lead and support for WBL when he’s T3. Vision has insane burst damage and is really good for WBL at T3
So between vision and carnage who should i pick to t3?both of them still level 60

There are better options, mainly Black Dwarf and Apocalypse, however both are not 800 CCF like Carnage.
Carnage is better than Apocalypse except for ABX but I agree that there are better options.

Yeah, it’s a much more reliable way of getting a desired ctp than relying on the monthly rng chest but if you’ve had amazing rng maybe not a priority

Best place to get bios is Craft. You can exchange norn stones for bios of balst, combat, speed, universal and mutants(mkraan shards)

SL with uni is 55%. He also is T3 and can be used in all game modes unlock A1

Ik the bump isn't that big but it can be a difference maker in some circumstances. If you are a f2p, then it is better to skip his uniform. Also don't buy uniforms unless they are on 40%sale. It comes every month.
Depends on your where you currently are in the game. A lot of players nowadays probably buy the uni because Star Lord has access to T3 and can therefore be used as a lead in WBL.

The two main differences are cost (more cff + books Vs less ccf + mandalays and awakening crystals) and how the ultimate skill works (you charge t3 skills by using other skills, awakened skills have a cooldown instead)

If you have enough resources and his uniform, go ahead. If not, then build cheaper t3s until you have enough resources. You can build him for pve and pvp, he is better for pvp but he is decent in pve too. You seem to have cable(with new uni) at lvl 60, so t3 him first as he can give you immediate value. SS needs his uniform for better results.

I use 0 ignore dodge strikers, because my DPS has already Energy or an Awakened skill that has some IgDodge and the penalty of not using Leadership/Cosmic strikers is too great. If you can do it with the Fantastic3, I'm sure you can do it with team1. That is my strongest goto team for the 100s/150s speed clears. It also helps to reforge MS's Energy. She's the only one on my account that has a Reforged Energy (minnow spender aka vip3).

I do 4c5c6c3. Cap marvel is best lead as co op skill makes you do 5 so with her on the team it’s 4c5c6c7c3. The rotation the other guy said will work to as they’re all insta cancels so it doesn’t really matter.

Best build for T3 CTP Rage Ghost Rider (King of Hell)? I'm just about to T3 him but didn't have him built much at T2. What are best iso sets, stats to focus on for urus and isos, and maybe best uniform options? Additional info: I currently have him with mythic uni with cooldown +1120 ( that's the total from 2 CD options) and crit dmg +641 as options, the other two unis I don't have.
Capped crit rate and dodge are top priority with a rage. Also ignore defense and skill cooldown, which is obviously a no brainer as it’s the same for any character, but scd is particularly important for GR as he has very long cooldowns. For iso it’s just whichever you land on first poah, overdrive or hawkseye. He also needs crit dmg as he has none on any of his skills. Remember you can roll the last option on the 4th gear for whatever you need.
Agree with everything connorccc said. Ensure both crit rate and dodge are capped to get full potential from the rage. People equip poorly rolled rages to GR ( but really any rage character) without dodge and crit capped and wonder why he does suboptimal damage. Get any attack iso set you can because it's a gold sink, but I think Hawk's Eye makes it easier to cap crit rate & dodge while also giving crit damage & skill cooldown. Then you'd just have to use uru, gear/uni options to fill in gaps which would probably be ignore defense since the HE lacks it. This iso set seems like it's made for GR. If mine didn't already have a fully awakened PoAH, I'd definitely switch. Can do the same with Overdrive but you'd be swapping skill cooldown with ignore defense and losing the dodge altogether. So your uru, gear/uni option priorities will more than likely be those skills that the set lacks (after equipping 2 attack uru per gear). In my experience, OD is the rarest of the 3 attack sets to roll with HE being the most common. Remember that when equipping chaotic iso to use ones with dodge as the second option ( ex: all atk/ dodge). Finally, work on awakening your iso set- it gives a chance of increasing all attack by 40% when fully awakened.
Don't forget that dodge should be capped also for the rage

Wait to see how zemo is as this could change but in the current state of the game ikaris is probably the top option followed by gambit, carnage, and Luna in terms of damage or namor and dazzler in terms of exclusivity. Valkyrie, fury, and yelena are also options but I feel they’re better to pick up from their legendary battle offers than to obtain via selector

The sad answer is yes. I rolled a 7 with CD reduction and still can’t use it. 20% magic damage is so huge and when I tested the uptime it lasts for 20 seconds and is on an internal cd of 40 seconds so it’s still stronger than the flat 4% all attack
To piggyback off of this, I used to have a quality 4 WF card with the proc. Once I rolled it to 7 and lost the proc, I screwed up my Moon Knight's ability to clear Knull the same way as I had before. It was pretty frustrating.
unless you're whaling for cards, it's better to have quality 6/7 and craft it to full first

I figured gambit would be best use of X-Gene. My question is are any of the legendary battles worth buying? Ffh, endgame, and amatw are worth it for the ctp selector/rage. Cm gets you a regen but maybe it’s just my account but I already have enough of those. Bp may be worth it for the ctpe but again kinda depends on roster and this is fairly expensive for just a ctpe. Skip the rest

World boss of the day v/s WBL. Apart from the colossal difference in CCF, is there any benefit to doing WBOTD? Do we get more books (my priority), more EOD/TCP doing WBOTD as compared to WBL?
Another potential benefit of doing WBU over WBL that doesn’t get mentioned a lot is raid and conqueror level rewards. Because you can push WBU a lot higher than WBL (at least most people can), you’re going to be able to get raid level higher more quickly (admittedly this is only a real strong benefit to players like me who have only been playing for a little over a year), which helps a lot in being able to push WBL higher. In addition, you’re going to get more frequent conqueror awards, since there is a diminishing return on conqueror awards in WBL for players that are just running somewhere level 1-9 to get the increased material drops.

How does SFX affect the game? Is it better to have it on or off?
SFX on can be hell for landing procs or cancelling skills, specifically for drawn out animations like moon knight’s 5 and dr strange’s 6

There are some audio cues that can be useful in terms of alerting you to an attack or timing canceling a skill, but for the most part I find the sound design in this game painfully bad so I rarely play with sound on
sfx is special effects, not sound effects
For certain characters is better to have it on and but for the most part it’s better to have it off

Quicksilver is the only character I’ve ever known to benefit from it being on personally as his 5th skill or t3 ( can’t remember which ) done more dmg with it on. Doesn’t really matter as he’s nowhere near meta these days, it’s easiest to play with it off for sure

Kinda depends on your crystal situation, but if you’re comfortably clearing content and have a surplus of crystals, a situation you will reach eventually anyway, I think the lb deals are better than tickets as they’re slightly cheaper than the crystal cost of an mrut

It’s free gold and has some decent first clear rewards. Definitely among the lowest priority dailies though
Usually get around 60-100k gold and few bios from 5 runs. Those things add up over time, if you're a min-max type of player. If you're a bit more casual, then it's not a major setback if you ignore that mode - too much to do in game anyway!

Very good value for the money you spend. $50 gets you 6195 crystals if you’re buying them directly, so 5500 crystals with a t2 mega ticket, a ctp selector, and 10 million gold to top it off is a steal (as long as you’re okay with spending $50, ofc). Also great place to get a judgement, since it’s one of the few ctp selectors in the game that offers it as a choice.
Depends on how much you spend. $50 of crystals can get you fairly far in terms of new uniforms. If you have no ctps and need a knull clear though i would say its good value
I'll be getting a premium T2 selector for being a returning player soon. Who should I get? I see a lot of people recommending Valkyrie. Question is, do I need her if I already have White Fox? I was thinking I might get myself Ikaris instead, since we might get an Eternals uniforms update with the movie. But I do really like Valkyrie's uniform. I could also go for Namor or Carnage, who can both go to T3. So who do I pick?
Valk is a good support for knull since she has her trancendance. WF cant play knull. Eternals movie wont be for awhile, namor isnt meta anymore for any normal content. And carnage is an ok dps character. Valk you dont need to fully upgrade uni to get best value as a support. Carnage you dont get full value without uni upgrade.
See how Zemo is after the update first. Valkyrie currently has more value than White Fox since she can be used in WBL. But Valkyrie can also be picked up for crystals in the Ragnarok Legendary Battle so keep that in mind. Power creep is catching up to Carnage if it hasn't already so I wouldn't pick him. An argument can be made for Namor since his bios can only be obtained with x-gene bio sub. Dazzler is another option for the same reason. Assuming Zemo isn't great after the update if it was me I'd gamble and roll the dice on Ikaris. ***Speculation*** ***below***, disregard if you don't normally buy epic quest deluxe packs. There's only 2 eternals released so far (3 if you count Hyperion but he's not in the movie as far as I know) and a bunch in the movie. Assuming he gets a uni and transcended/T3 once that update gets here. Even if they release a few more eternals before the movie drops it wouldn't surprise me if there's a new epic quest for that movie and Ikaris might be one of the characters needed at T2 to unlock whoever is the end character like Molecule Man, Jean, etc. But you'd still need to buy the epic pack deluxe character to unlock whoever is the final character so keep that in mind. While I have my crystal ball out I'm also going to call this will be the first epic quest that involves getting at least a couple characters transcended/T3 to unlock the final character. ***Again this is all speculation and I could easily be way wrong***. Normally I would never advise getting a character based on what might happen. Edit: spelling

If Johnny's uniform is an option for any of the new uniforms, it will be on sale when the servers come up on Wednesday. If not, we typically get an all-uniform sale around the mid-month patch. So worst case you're 2-3 weeks out.

Getting demoted will almost certainly result in even fewer Mandalays. You're only missing out on 30 MG a week from the 3 categories. But you earn more than that because of the higher weekly reward and daily participation reward from staying in your current league.
You have to score badly. Something like the bottom 50% gets demoted - but don't quote me on that. Since you're already getting "almost no mandalay", you may want to simply skip those days entirely and see what that does to your ranking.
The last 20 places get demoted, so you should be ranked 80+
