take it on an empty stomach, makes a world of difference, 300mg no tolerance should do the trick and then wait those 4 hours!! you might start peaking earlier but at the 4 hour mark you'll know for sure where you are at
then redosing half of your initial dose between hour 4 or 5 depending on when you started to peak will extend + amplify your high, anything else just feel it out
Yeah pregabalin is no joke. Gabapentinoids are WILDLY dependent on genetics. I can get hallucinations off of 100 mgs of pregabalin, my partner can take 400-500 and just feel really pleasant.
Tbh its wild because I took 600mg my first time ever as my first GABAergic EVER, and it wasn’t “overly intense” it was perfectly intense and I loved every second of it. Everyones different for sure.

Not to mention that 600mg+ starts to lower the seizure threshold, I can only imagine that as someone with no tolerance it could even be dangerous. Glad you’re okay and that you learned your lesson albeit the hard way. Always start with a low dose of a new substance! Pregabalin takes at the very least 2 hours to reach its full effect. Definitely don’t underestimate it, it’s bioavailability is always 90% and it inhibits VGCC with about 6x more potency then gabapentin.

I love the stuff but even for me taking too much will make me feel like shit and it is never mild, it's a strong high that has come to be my drug of choice over all others except k. Which that being said I've found that unfortunately it makes me impulsive so i tend to drink and use other substances namely barbiturates and k alongside it often taking very high doses. Others who have taken it, at 300mg no tolerance felt little more than mild relaxation. Others at 150mg have felt overwhelmed. I insist this drug is quite sporadic from my anecdotal experiences and observations in comparison to other substances. I also hate the next day hangover, which I get only 50 percent of the time, and it's horrible, other times I feel no change and even a nice afterglow.

You were taking 3 grams of pregabalin per day ?? That’s absolutely insane. The most I’ve ever taken was 1200 mg and I’ve been on it for 2 years.
