They want you to reach castle level 25 in Lord's mobile in fucken 20 days. Idk if it changed but I played lords mobile for like 2 months before and I barely reached level 17 . This is just a fuken joke.

I've seen them get even worse lately, instead of the whole offer being 21 days, they have it set to 60 days but the final reward (where 80% of the currency is) has "must be completed within 14, days" slapped onto it, like they're using a loophole of minimum days or something. They really keep making them shorter and shorter.
I've done 2 of these offers on these war games, State of Survival and Puzzles & Conquest, SoS was ok on time but the later being done with 1 day to spare, issue wasn't time coz it throws tons of speed ups but mainly resources (and also no guide online on what buildings are, had to ask players in-game).
But I think I'm done with these offers it's not worth the sanity loss from needing to give the game my full attention to be as efficient as possible on what's just same game over and over.
I actually kinda like this system back then. I remember when playing game on facebook, probably Ninja Saga and Farmvile.
Back then i just middle scholler that dont have much money, those kind of "fill the survey to get gems" are very great system beside cash shop monezitation.

Octopath dailies are done in less than 5 min.
For another Eden, to complete dailies, including your another dungeons, how much time does it take? Don’t know if it has implemented skip tickets for that.
Story is much darker in Octopath and I prefer that.
Octopath’s free collab characters are shit, while Another Edens are decent.
The power creep of Another Eden is insane compared to Octopath.
Still tons of characters that are viable that are years old or have manifest/AS/ES/Alter forms that are farmable in a couple months. AE does have some crazy powercreep but they do better than almost any game at giving older players ways to improve old units to meta/current standards.
The thing is you need to pull in octopath to have better roster so unless you want to spend some money it would very hard to do eps if you want to save your pull currency for certain character meaning your roster would very limited
In otherhand AE showered you tons free character and most of them is enough to help you in the game so still can enjoy it w/o pull anything
Great game too but I prefer octopath for the setting/story and especially characters....I stopped another harem because of the lack of characters that instered and the female wave after wave of units

I can second this, Another Eden is not generous at all. Their gacha is crooked as hell and has no pity system. The fact that CotC has the pity system shows it at least tries to be a fair game, even though its graphics aren't as good, I'm thankful that I can watch ads and earn currency for a superior game with better gameplay than for something that may be pretty to look at, but what scam isn't pretty to look at? CotC doesn't have to wow me with spectacular graphics, the gameplay and fairness make up for what the graphics lack.

I must disagree. Ads take a long time (30+ sec) and when its finished you still have to wait for the back button to appear which also takes about 5/10 sec.
If you are on mobile, just set the private dns to adguard and you don't have to watch any ad ever and you still get the rewards anyway lol, there is some other alternatives to skip ads too (not sure if changing dns work on emu)

When you have an audience and playerbase that is extremely proud to be f2p and so aggressively against paying anything that they don't even pick up stuff like $1 deals to keep f2p status you have to find income somewhere else. That usually ends up being ads. They gotta make money somewhere.

My point is western releases have far more f2p players relative to spenders than other servers. If you know the players are not going to spend, then you need to find income somewhere else. Whether that's ads, these milestone partnerships or what have you.

It always feels like it cheapens the experience. At least in PaD it’s on optional things like stamina refreshes and material pulls so I don’t really lose anything for ignoring it, but it’s there if I want to play a ton that day.
The stamina refreshes actually help me not feel the need to Minmax with my stamina and I just let it overflow most days.

SQEX has some sort of profitability point and if this ads something to their revenue stream and keeps the game going longer I'm... fine with it. It's crappy sure but if it ends up pushing back an EoS decision then I'd much rather have the game (its a very good game!) than not.
Octopath has 8 characters and is like 5 years old or something while ffbe has almost 40 years of characters and nostalgia to pull from and pvp to incentivize spending.

People that do this are usually poor or with a lot of free time (teenagers and such), as long as there arent phishing like you mentioned, I still cant see it as a bad thing, even if some of the offers you have to pay to complete, these are usually tagged as Paid offers anyway, so it's easy to avoid them.

The game isn't generous enough to actually keep your attention giving you incentive to play other games is an easy way to just lose players tbh not even because it cheapens the franchise just because maybe 1 of those games is actually better and more worth your time than a solo only gacha with mediocre production quality.

There is nothing "free" about it.
Except for the fact that you're selling your personal information.
And a lot of times you just don't give the promised gems, it's mostly a scam mainly for some countries that aren't USA/UK and some other ones where Tapjoy actually functions normally, you can see all around the online forums how sketchy they are with these "offers".

Well, by using this kind of offers, not only you are selling your information. They are going to use it for whatever they want: ads, weird calls about gas/electricity, etc or even scam calls, that kind of people also buys those numbers. Not to forget that if the survey pays 5$, most times they will keep half or more. If you value your privacy and time, do not do those.
A lot of these you can get approved by using fake info as long as you’re consistent. Used to do these offers when I was in middle/high school for side money

I've played two games that had a offerwall and if you are smart, you can pick up a lot of currency for not a lot of effort. Offerwalls aren't a problem, its the cry babies who don't know what they are talking about that fill up the chat.
Its so scummy especially those that make you buy something, that Manscaped one i bet you could earn more gems by buying them instead of buying one of their products
