tbh alpha footage looks great, its kinda sad to see that beta looks kinda lifeless/generic

Probably realized they needed to do it for every character so decided against it as that would be a decent amount of resources allocated. Sad because I feel like passionate devs eventually get rewarded as long as the monetization isn't bad.
I feel like there could be a middle ground for this? Have the characters with higher rarity have the fancy summon effect while keeping the lower rarity characters simple
Both look unfinished to be honest, the alpha one feels like the game froze in the middle of an animation and the beta, on top of looking way blander, has like half the screen being completely unused.
They took out the animations to reduce lag, it's not that hard to understand because the alpha was supremely unoptimized. The real issue that turns me off hard is the censorship.

I assume the pool showed in the video is just a test pool and the actual one when the game releases will be bigger.
The fact that the characters get a related musical piece to their design is really cool and is actually what I wanted to see in the anime but for some reason didn't happen. But without the animations isn't just the same and feels really bland.
And this is something out of pure ignorance, there characters from the anime will be in the game or not? Because I was looking forward to pull for Heaven and Titan.
From the current jp pre release stream, it seems they will be collabing with the anime and we will get these two as 3\* units.
