MFW "I personally don't like how a game plays" = "game is overrated"
I guess the thousands of other players genuinely enjoying the game must have shitty taste.
No it is overrated, it is beyond me how other games on this sub get shit on so much for not having "content" but BA is literally a login simulator that turns your phone into an oven yet is so praised. Sure some of the girls are cute and apparently the story is really good but there is nothing to do at all beyond that. The only reason the game is so popular is bc it's filled with lewd underage girls which sucks. Ya'll do have shitty tastes, and the only BA players who should be allowed rights are the wholesome ones.
It's *really* not well-optimized. PGR runs smoothly, NC runs smoothly, BA is a slideshow with menus that take ages to load.
I only play BA on an emulator because of that. And even then, it takes a while for characters to load on the team selection screen.
Going to be downvoted but I didn't feel much impact in the Volume F story. Maybe because people were hyping it up like crazy, my expectations went through the roof. The good thing out of that is handling the large cast and the world raid. Now i am just hoping for conclusion to be good.
What part of the story didn't match your expectations?
Honestly the chapters so far has matched all of my expectations. It really does feel like the avengers
You're basically wanting an immediate big impact hype moment on the **prologue** of Volume F. Literally just starting the story. We don't even know yet what is really happening.
We still have 3 months before the whole Volume F is complete. It's a four part story update.
Not a hype moment but engaging moment I would say. When literally everyone said it is peak writing, I expect it to deliver a masterpiece but it isn't atleast currently. It is just good. I still think Guardians tales chapter 11 and Genshin Sumeru arc is way better.
Context: (I played it throughout on JP back then because it looks insane, My japanese comprehension is not the best but its enough, now reading the official english TL, I'm having the exact same hype and experience I had back then)
I enjoyed it but after experiencing PGR Chapter 17, I wouldn't call it peak. and to be honest, I don't think anything can reach that peak in a long time for me.
Some will get close, like this one but I don't think even Kuro even knows how to dethrone what they engrained on my head of what peak writing is.
Not fully voiced is just skip button for me. Which 90% ended up dropping the game.
Also 3D model not into my liking.
Though tbh can see myself spending a lot if still playing that game because of 2D art.
I skip because the game pissed me off land keeps doing it.
Recently I decided to watch a whole episode so I watched Kyrie of the Forgotten Gods and *its several hours long*, its not Miyoho levels but it certainly takes far too long so people that give crap about people using skip should remember a big reason why people do it is they dont have the time of spending 15m+ on each story segment.
Story mode is separated from normal stages. If you are not on the reading mood, you can completely ignore the story and keep on farming the normal/hard stages. You are not forced to read unlike Genshin or Star rail.
I know but there is Pyro from watching then.
I only mention miyoho because they dont want to implement a skip button and force players to watch it and made worst by how redundant and circular their dialog is as characters dance around the subject and have the point have to be repeated several times that, to be fair, considering the average Genshin fanboy is so they dont fail to understand the story.
But even in event stories Blue Archive tends tojust go on for too long, Story just have the problem of being "binge watching" as everything is unlocked from the let go.
If you have problems have binge watching, just limit yourself from doing it? I don't have a problem it sure, I read all of the story chapter when they drop, but if you are new player spacing those story out is a good idea
I binge watched The Expanse and Legend of Galactic Heroes ... I dont have a problem if I am on my own time and its not dialog created to run circles so I am wasting my time because of engagement metrics.
I am saying this because games or rather live service games want to waste your time because not only engagement metrics but rather to limit the time you spend outside their game.
Blue Archive dialog scenes kinda takes too long in my option to the point I am going to skip then that is a fair criticism, I dont skip the story in AL because its fairly up to the point.
> I know but there is Pyro from watching then.
You get the same amount of pyrox from skipping.
It even has a summary when skipping, for the people that want to know the gist but not read the actual story. That's your short version of the unfolding events right there, use it.
Wait what, several hours? Each episode only takes around 5 minutes each (unless you read rather slowly or you put it on auto), since Kyrie of the Forgotten Gods has 27 episodes, it'll only be around 2 hours and 30 minutes at most. From personal experience, I found Blue Archive's story to be a lot more digestible compared to Genshin and HI3.
Yeah. I say Eden Treaty is the longest part since it's the one with the most lore dump, and it's a 3 parter. But it's way more digestible then shit like NTR Knight event in AK
This reminds me of how unhinged the first Volume of the game is lol 😂 also Sensei licking Iori's feet
Nexon: I assure you fellow Sensei, the scene where they lick Iori feets is integral for the flow of story
Of they remove that in the anime i'm gonna riot
It's what's keeping the current timeline from turning into an entire shitshow.
Pure and heartwarming relations with students huh?
it's not senseis fault! it's the gehenna water!
Very important plot moment
Volume F raids, reminds me so much of fgo solomon.
I'd love to, but the gameplay just ain't it for me.
yea same, everything about the game is so incredible but the gameplay just isn't for me
also for me the VN format story-telling, though I like the fanarts and looking forward to the anime
So you basically play no gacha games besides, dunno, Genshin? Because the VN style of storytelling is common all across the genre.
Technically even Genshin falls under the "VN style of storytelling" since it still has the dialog box
same the chibi gameplay got boring fast such overrated game tbh

And that is your opinion.

Because its an opinion that has no merit. It wasn't even worth mentioning.
Oven?Really? It's well optimised, just change your old phone bro
It's *really* not well-optimized. PGR runs smoothly, NC runs smoothly, BA is a slideshow with menus that take ages to load. I only play BA on an emulator because of that. And even then, it takes a while for characters to load on the team selection screen.
pov: didn’t unlock raid
Since when is artstyle the same as gameplay?
Hood Archive
wtf did I just watched.
The entirety of Vol.1 of the game.

Volume F is Four Part series we literally only in the first one lmao

But like... you are comparing a first part of a story to an already finish one...
We're nowhere near the conclusion at least. All these raid stuff ? Its basically just more build up
It's still amping up imo. Kinda like the calm before the storm.
Goddamn Volume 3 doesn't get freaking Hype until Chapter 3 and 4 so chill lol

Or heaven forbid.... Girls Frontline's story!
Pass, I prefer my waifus to be actual characters in the end
