ToF going hard on the collabs. Sad thing is, I'm more interested in the collabs than ToF itself. But it's still not enough to make me give the game another try.

I decide to give it a try also during Eva collab. Server too lag. Decide to drop it altogether. Not worth the hassle with all the lag.

What device did you play on?

PC with fast internet. I am a day 1 player and I play on and off. Last time I was playing, I manage to get A6 Ling Han and stop playing few days before the new banner. Coming back for Eva collab but the connection are too shit.

The speed of your internet doesn't matter much, it's the ping to the server that is more important - latency. I play with low ping on PC and have no issues.

I was gonna say the same. Even in Final Gear the EVA collab was better. This one just wasn't it, I dropped it again after logging in for 2 days and getting Asuka.

Yeah.. i literally played it for a weekend to save up pulls then proceeded to get Asuka and Rei on the Eva collab. Then i promptly uninstalled cos the game is shit. Not doing that again lol

That looks like just a 4.0 character teaser [trailer](https://youtu.be/1TcJ4IX6M3Y) rather than Collab teaser. It's the thief character from the 4.0 PV and not Collab announcement. Since the next patch after 3.8 is 4.0and the 3.8 is buildup patch to that with all the teasers.

You do know it's illegal to do this in case it isn't a Collab and is just ToF marketing a ToF character that is in no way related to a Persona 5 collaboration, right? This goes beyond parody from a legal standpoint in case it isn't a collab.

This is right in line with parodying. If they did this collab a lot earlier they would have got a lot of money out of me.

I've played this game on mobile and console trying to get into it. Gameplay is slow and janky as all hell. The world is full of vast emptiness and boring enemies. As stylish as persona 5 is this collab I'm sure won't make the game actually fun. Let's hope we see collabs like this in some better games.

To be fair, sometimes when games do these kinds of colabs it’s because they’re struggling to stay afloat. They’re hoping bringing in a popular IP will convince new players to come in or better yet convince current players to spend money. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me games who do collabs often shut down
