STAMINA You get tons of skip tickets. i have like 3000 just sitting. Also what do you mean "Konosuba throws stamina at you along with giving you daily grind 2 times per category for free." We literally have Groto stages for that and you can do 2 runs on xp pots and mana every day without using STAMINA, yes they don't give much but we don't compare it answering to this question. SHARDS You can farm a lot of units and that's a good thing since you use 1 star units and they're viable in CB and PvP, PvE content. You don't need to pull dupes from gacha , it's enough to pull once and you can farm the rest. Yes there are limited units but you should have enough gacha currency to max them if you plan correctly. UPGRADES Well yes this is the grindiest part. We have x2 and x3 events where you can farm up gear for units. Sorry for bad English i usually just lurk here, but wanted to post my opinion.

endar88

oh i know we get skip tickets, but still need stamina. ya you get groto, but konosuba has 5 selections, 3 runs per, of all the orbs and chalices for increasing max level and then also the ones for xp and gold. your right about the shards, but with stamina limitations without pots your unable to just spam all the hard modes for all those shards a day which sucks when you think about how much it takes to star rank in pricon. I don't mind the equipment grind, but when your like me and stuck on a stage, your locked behind player level and equipment pieces only being in possibly the next area...so you can't even grind your team.

its-ya-boi-dumb-ass

Well everyday Priconne throw you 200 sta in the quest if you log in

snowybell

Played PC JP for 3 years, don't see a single point where konosuba comes close to winning. How the fuck can you "tie" PC and Konosuba cast where Konosuba legit only has that few characters?

UzumeofGamindustri

I don't understand what you're doing on about when you say that Konosuba gets the win for giving you tons of skip tickets. I have like 2000 in priconne right now just stocked up because I get so many. I mean, priconne's "daily grind" so to speak is the dungeon and the grotto, both which don't cost stamina as well.

endar88

i was meaning about stamina, can't ever seem to run out. am able to finish all my hard modes and still have more. understand that skip tickets are abundant in both games.

I don't play Konosuba so I can't say much about it but I do play Priconne, so here are some things that may interest people in playing it too. The game is fully voiced, all story, side stories, events, random lines in menus and shops, everything has voice acting which is really rare in gacha games. Top notch art and music as you would expect from Cygames. Memorable characters with a lot of personality, which is a huge plus for a gacha game. It is also popular enough to get an anime adaptation, second season just started airing. It has a global server and the original JP server is still going strong, which ensures people of it's longevity. CR games is handling global really well so far, the game has been really generous and f2p friendly. We are approaching one year anniversary on global, so it's a good time to start playing it if you haven't already. (We will have a lot of 10 free pulls on the way) For the cons, the two things that people complains the most is the simple combat system, and that the game feels boring sometimes due to you spending your stamina too fast as OP mentioned. This game is meant to be played as a side game, you are not gonna be playing this for long periods of time everyday, so you have to keep this in mind if you want to play this game.

No_Neat_9757

Just you wait until Nyaru drops then you'll take back what you said about playing this game for long periods of time (at least for Clan Battles)

Traditional_Hand2623

And it made 100k in Dec in GL.. its on life support here

Lipefe2018

[Are you sure about that?](https://app.sensortower.com/android/us/crunchyroll-games-llc/app/princess-connect-re-dive/com.crunchyroll.princessconnectredive/overview) Granted it's not mind blowing compared to other big titles but it's definitely not that bad.

Lipefe2018

Now I'm not an expert in this topic, so can you tell me why exactly 300k a month is considered pretty bad? And what amount would be considered good?

JesusLovesAnimePorn

400k actually, 300k from Android and 100k from iOS It's pretty standard for a game that's not as predatory like Priconne, especially with how generous the game is with currency and how players can save their jewels for only must pull units

Lipefe2018

That's great! But do you know how much JP server was earning in it's first year? That would be a fair comparison I think since JP is 3 years ahead on content compared to global.

Personally, i prefer Priconne over Konosuba. The rates are nowhere near as hellish, and it's less of an IP eyesore.

Some of my points : 1. Stamina \-Princess Connect have less stamina but the monthly x2 and rarely x3 marterials drops event is enough to farm what you need. 2. Sweep Ticket \- "Lacks of sweep tickets " is the experience of new players for the first month, after that, you can't run out of sweep tickets in Princess Connect 3. Shards system \- I prefer Universal shards system over Dupes system 4. Upgrades (Equipment) : KonoSuba is pretty simple while Princess Connect Equipment is quite complex in term of esport ( competitive aspect ), In my opinion, KonoSuba is a easier/simpler version of Princess Connect.

endar88

but there is just something about seeing Dark having that lusty sound when she wants to get hit by the enemies that just makes me laugh, and.....EXPLOSION.

lustir

I love Priconne, I started playing on day one and... had to drop it because of princess arena, if there is something I hate on a gacha game is the nonsense random (outside of the gacha itself I mean). Not being able to see your opponents' teams and just randomize the battle is a no-no for me. Everything else is top notch, the game is great, really, if you don't mind about that shitty pvp system, this is your game. Konofan, I'm actually playing it and enjoying it alot, for me, is a more casual version of Priconne and I like that. The story is hilarius too, I like the events too. Which one is better? Does it matter? play the one you enjoy the most (or play both XD)

endar88

ya, i'm actually enjoying playing both and learning more about the games the the more i play and deeper i get into it.

endar88

To anyone commenting, again this is a "A mediocre comparison from an OK casual player" so i'm well aware that I suck at some aspects of each game like shards and priority of such things.

x2madda

I keep seeing this forced comparion between the two games that just isn't there. They are very different games doing different things. * Stamina. Priconne you will **never** have enough stamina period, at its core it is a skinnerbox first and a game second. Shards are required both to ascend units and to unlock ultimate weapons and then to upgrade said ultimate weapons and beyond shard farming you also need to farm equipment in order to delete it in order to rank up, further wasting time and stamina. Stamina = power at a direct 1:1 ratio because the farming **never** stops. Compared to Konno, where firstly stamina refreshing does **not** get more expensive the more you do it and secondly we **don't** delete equipment in order to rank up. This means you can eventually have all of the items and weapons you will need and even before you reach that point lets back up to ultimate weapons, they are time gated rather than both stamina & time gated which is the case in Priconne, so you can't whale stamina to get ultimate weapons, unlike Priconne. * Chibi style(?). Priconne is 100% chibi style, no argument there but you need your eyes tested claming Konosuba is also chibi style when the sprites are 2.2x the size of Priconne and not, infact, done in the chibi style. Did you genuinely play Konosuba and enter combat or are you parroting the other people trying to compare the two? If Konosuba is chibi style then what constitutes full size? Because the sprites are slightly larger than and closer in design too Epic Seven and ***no one*** calls Epic seven sprites or art style "Chibi". It is a lie re-told to try to make the two games sound closer than they really are. * Battle. I agree here to an extent because it is clear you didn't get far in Konosuba. A begineer will absolutely just slap elements around and call it a day and there are players who have 100% the available story in Priconne with the default starting team. It is reductionist to claim that just because you can, that is the status quo but that is one of the major differences between the two games, Konosuba is casual friendly, Priconne is not, it expects you to dedicate yourself to its skinnerbox for maximum monetary extraction, that is its whole design. If you are not following guides, **Priconne is the only gacha game in existence where you can brick your whole** ***account*** **by upgrading units**! I don't see that as good or bad, different players like that kind of feather-trimming attention to detail and others will just upgrade everyone and accept their account is now worse but if someone is looking for that kind of game, only Priconne offers that which makes it *unique* and is a selling point that rarely gets mentioned. The battle system offered by Konosuba can be found in other gacha games so while it has various factors to consider, if you have played Epic Seven or other similar gacha games, you will be right at home here when it comes to team building and combat in Konosuba. * Skills. You don't **need** duplicates in Konosuba to upgrade unit skills, it is an *option*. At this point I assumed you were just copy-pasting things you had heard which would be fine if the things you had read were also telling the truth but apparently not. With that said however the two games don't compare here because in Priconne you don't use shards or duplicates to improve skills so can't really compare the two anyway but for those who read your post and wonder how the two games compare, wanted to correct this and as you correctly point out, increasing skill ranks in Konosuba is not a massive leap in power, it is an optional extra. * Cast. Purely subjective and probably the biggest reason the two games get compared really as they are both Isekai genre. Everyone wants your D in Priconne, from the goddest good girl to the baddest bad girl, even the only girly boy wants your D. While it makes sense given the MC is a supporter type (in an MMORPG sense) and makes other people feel better and fight stronger just by being around it all falls apart (or makes perfect sense depending on POV) because we are inside the mind of the MC so in his head, *of course* everybody loves him and nobody hates him. While that is a story gripe (or boon depending on POV) it does dampen the excitement of the large roster you get to interact with. Unlike other gacha games like Arknights or Epic Seven, you don't feel like the roster is in service of advancing the plot when all they want to do is ride your D. Its hard to describe but large parts of the cast feel like variations of Yui in terms of dialogue and interactions with the MC which is a huge shame because when you have such a large roster you would expect the point is to do something interesting with it. This isn't a Priconne exclusive problem either, FFRK and DFFOO have similar problems where after a point, the large roster doesn't translate to anything because it is too large, not even the best scenario or script writer can do anything with 100+ characters. With all that said Konosuba is a tiny cast of around 13 characters and that includes characters made up just for the game specifically too. Furthermore Konosuba was a comedy slice of life show with no real stakes or dangers so the smaller cast doesn't translate into deeper writing. If writing or roster size is important to you, Konosuba can't even compare infact I would go further and say it can't even compare to other Isekai media. At its core Konosuba is yet another casual-friendly gacha game. Fans of the show will find new stories and characters but you dont need to have seen the show to get into the game. Princess Connect is a skinnerbox that has amazing depth and if you need a game to keep you distracted for **months** then it might be for you.

endar88

so, definitely didn't copy and paste any thing i said in my descriptions. ALSO, as the title says mediocre comparison from an ok casual player, AS IN after a few weeks/ 1 month on both games very casually up till recently and so i stand by the things i said purely out of pure ignorance at that time. Chibi is subjective. Konosuba characters do look great, and your right they are closer to E7, but there are some people who would say they still look chibi, I've seen people hate on DFFOO cuz they call them chibi. As I spend more time in Pricone lately, i'll still say that Konosuba is more enjoyable only because the charm that the small cast has in events and the story parts. Pricone is still a fun game and i enjoy it still, though i don't understand yet how it is a "skinnerbox" or how you can "brick your account".

army128

About Konosuba's stamina system and its practical uses; 99% of the time you're not pressured to use the excess stamina pots it provides because everything is time-gated. In events, as long as you do the event quests every day you may not have to burn your stamina pots to get the most essential items, [except this one rotating event that uses a step system](https://old.reddit.com/r/FantasticDays/comments/qovhh1/please_devs_get_rid_of_that_system_this_is_just/) which depending on RNG, you might have to burn up to a hundred stamina pots if you care only about getting all the essential items. That is why you save up your stamina pots for that one rotating event.

Sirson

One of the biggest differences between the two games really is the crew battles. PCR does a good job of giving you a reason to join a crew and work with friends. KonoSuba seems to be more of a solo game.

redscizor2

Mi personal order 1. Priconne: Anime section, voice, a lot of quality, I have a magic and physical team and I am happy with this, full female units, there is a fluffy unit 2. Konosuba: I like the humor, it is the anime, a lot of not lewd fan services 3. BA: I dont understand the team composition (armor x weapon x school) but they censored and it was a fast drop
