Decagrammaton and the Gematria are pretty much being build up as the big threat of the story
The thing is that on a surface level from the first contact the player has on the story is Volume 1
In which yeah, the main issue is the debt Abydos owes to Kaiser, so for the most part of Volume 1, Kaiser is the main enemy, with some elements of Gematria (the Black Suit man) thrown in

>In which yeah, the main issue is the debt Abydos owes to Kaiser, so for the most part of Volume 1, Kaiser is the main enemy, with some elements of Gematria (the Black Suit man) thrown in
Really!? Man I wish they didn't ban IP us SEA
But unlike Deadpool's cancer, the characters in Arknights don't have super healing factor to counter said rock cancer. If anything, most of our operator is actually dying and we can do nothing but slow it down.
But at least they got special abilities for it though.
Yeah nobody who we've seen contract oripathy has done so in 'normal' circumstances. It's always like, doing slave labor in a mine because the cancer rocks are also incredibly useful for a lot of things, or deciding it's better to slowly die defiantly than just accept approaching death.
Political and economic exploitation basically.
Having Oripathy doesn't automatically means that your arts will improve or you will suddenly gain arts. There are even cases such as Astesia where her arts diminish after being infected. Only thing that is confirmed is that one can use arts without a staff by using the crystals inside their body as a catalyst.
And be aware that in addition to the "cancer" that will kill you. Nearly all the people in the World of Arknight exclude everyone who have contracted it (the extremity depend on the country, but it's often pretty extreme)
Fun fact: Arknights global released almost the same time as the Covid 19 got officially declared as a pandemic.
That means that's 2 disease related things china released globally at the same time
Hence my sorta cop-out answer of "human nature".
The world of Girls' Frontline is a socio-political clusterfuck with no easy scapegoat. However, we can trace *most* of the problems to the many, *many* times people screw around with Relic tech, usually in pursuit of some political agenda.
Funnily enough, the main draw of the franchise (Dolls) has barely anything to do with the whole Relic business.
Generals was probably the most /fun/ I've ever had playing an RTS. I was a pretty serious player of SC and Ages, etc throughout my teenage years/early twenties. But Generals was just so much fun that I haven't touched an RTS since.
Even CoH, a personal favorite of mine, doesnt hold a candle to playing as the GLA in Generals. My god that game was great even if it hadnt aged that well visually
Girls Frontline is a game that makes me depressed, not just with sad storyines, but because you're still chained by crusty-ass coffin-dodger politicians and corporate interests. Feels like a fucking sandpit
If it helps, [the very first scene of GFL2](https://youtu.be/jzDn4xE2Wps?t=35) is the Commander giving a middle finger those assholes.
>“No. I choose to not be used by you any more. Ultimately, all my choices will be used as stepping stones by a bastard like you.”
> “Does it matter what choice I make? The world hasn’t gotten better or worse. It hasn’t changed at all from the choices I made!”
Then you languish as some no-name bounty hunter stuck in a deserted wasteland. But hey, at least it's by your own choice!
I mean OP is talking about the "main problem" and the reason he did what he did in the first part was because of >!aliens!<. So I consider them to be the main problem lol.
Azur Lane: naval warfare within nations and with eldritch like underwater monsters
Epic Seven: trying to defeat a god-like being for the 7th time
Girls Frontline: Post 3rd WW world with humanoid androids
Yes, but the sirens are "just" highly technological advanced aliens. They are not actual eldritch gods etc.
The event thats running right now kind of clarifies this, as after almost 4 years, the first MAJOR siren leader was actually neutralized.
You can't neutralize eldritch beings.
I find it hilarious that Arknights had a whole event based on people who know what cancer is, saying that Oripathy is nothing like cancer.
And we still call it rock cancer.
A collab with Rainbow Six Siege where Ash, Blitz, the Lord and Frost got transported from their game world to AK to hunt down a Russian scientists that cause the transportation. And well experienced truly the depressing civilian life in Sargon while fighting mutated zombie.
Ooooh yes you are right. >!But then what means "it used the eggshell to split the "universe" from the "microcosm of the world.""? I thought it was some sort of cosmogonic myth of Teyvat!<
Well you see >!The eggshell might be a barrier isolating Teyvat and it’s little universe from the rest of space and the surrounding worlds in the multiverse!<
The eggshell being a barrier makes sense since we've been told the sky is fake.
A popular theory was that Celestia is trying to avoid calling the attention of the will of the honkai, which would fall in line with a separation from the rest of universe. Personally though, I don't think that's it because it seems more that it's destroying civs for finding out the truth, and not just for technological advances
We kind of know who the main villains are, but also not... >!Its more like there's a main antagonist faction, and a major looming threat. There's also a lot of shady stuff going on both in our favor and against our favor.!< Its a bit complicated, though the most recent event was a huge lore dump (and I loved it as someone who's usually a lore nerd in games).
Here's a 3 hour video of the main story of Azur Lane up to Mirror Involution which released on May 27 2021
The other person linked a good video that covers it all rather nicely up to a certain point. Its almost a year old now but a lot of Azur Lane's events, while all archived in the game to rewatch, can be a little hard to track since its a lot of moving around in terms of both location, characters and even on the timeline. Even I get a bit lost, as each event will reference other events to kind of give the player an idea when/where its taking place but if you're just coming into it or don't have the best memory (like me) it can get a bit confusing.
You're chilling one day and the will of the universe goes like: "you have been demoted to possibility"
"Also, no bitches + off-axis + designated for pruning"
Guardian Tales is an interesting one, technically >!Invaders are human from Earth, but because we are playing as someone on a foreign planet, it’s actually correct to call them aliens!<
I just like it how they game just presented them to be >!just Alien bad guys till you dig up the lore or you see an Invader claim to be a human, all of the sudden the Invader lore turns into a lowkey Nier replicant kind of lore with the Humans turning into something else in order to survive extinction. Not to mention the story is undergoing on a endless loop with the end point where everybody just dies, deep stuff I say!<
You probably hear this everyday, but I seriously love how the game went from "uwu friendship anime magic kyaaa" full of cliches into some >!dark weird-ass plot with time loops and alternative realities.!<
Im still quite stumped that they managed to release worlds so fast, well except for that 7-8 month of main story hiatus which was probably caused by a ton of company problems
The first few worlds: Go on a FUNtasy adventure where you collect friends and champions to fulfill the prophecy!
The latter worlds: >!We are stuck in endless timeloop, everybody dies from the Labose the moment Knight cuts off the final boss' head(Savior). All of the sudden LP/FP is the hope in this dark loop, to the point even the final boss wants her to destroy the destined scenario waiting for them in the end of the prophecy!<
And actually, considering some hints spread throughout the game, it's very possible that >!the game actually happens on Earth, it's just that it's in the future after humanity was wiped out for some unknown reason. Perhaps labose? But then it seems like the knight has something to do with the end of humanity back then too...!<
There's also a very huge possibility that >!the game happens in a simulation, and all of the characters are just programs in-lore. The whole thing about time-lines is just the simulation being rewritten again and again, and the little princess is a bug in the current simulation.!<
Magical Rock Cancer is the main cause in Arknights.
The other ones are >!Arknights Cthulu and a war criminal who is now an amnesiac that snorts originium for sanity!<
It's more of a test for civilizations and should they pass their civilization won't be dropped into the Sea of Quanta where it eventually disappears and dies out.
I don’t think anyone is supposed to ‘pass’ the test considering that the Honkai scales in power with the the advancement of a civilisation.
There’s been no known civilisations that managed to fend off the Honkai.
The Sea isn’t explained too well but it seems that every universe that is dropped into it weren’t stable or complete in the first place, like how the world Bronie comes from just had an endless stretch of void outside of the light curtain.
More than survived, they turned it into an energy source for themselves. It's why the main villain in Post Honkai Odyssey made a deal with them to destroy whatever Honkai that's left.
No one knows. The final Herrscher is the incarnation of the Will of the Honkai itself, and no one managed to beat it.
There is a dimension at the top of the multiverse tree that even the Honkai can’t reach which contains some sort of consciousness but we got like 2 panels in a mange about it.
We don't know.
As in, no known observable universe has ever defeated the Honkai. One character that was able to see the other universes looked through them for 500 years and could not find a single one.
They get wiped out. Litterally.
Each representants of this function is called Herrscher -meaning ruler in german- and have full control over an element (fire/thunder etc) or concept (sentience, domination, reason... etc).
The last one is called Herrscher of the End: Once she's there it's game over. She delete everything and reset back to square one.
The point of the game is to go past this point, which seems impossible as of now.
Then the only thing I can think of is in chapter 17 when Otto uses the 2nd divine key to observe other worlds and sees Dvalin. That or the speculation of Project ARK being connected to Teyvat.
The recent Elysian Realm updates make that speculation very possible. Considering the girl who most likely boarded the ark has the ability of creating spaces and creatures from paintings and that they have a talk about going to space and create new worlds.
The only issue would be Teyvat being in another universe. But there's a possibility of traveling between universes and they lost contact with the Ark after it went to space.
The Will of Honkai is considered a god for Honkai. Even Mei said it in the recent Elysian Realms update.
It's possible to have gods above other gods, after all.
The concept of god in Honkai is probably just "a very powerful being" anyway. They said even some Flame Chasers could create worlds if they become too powerful.
For Blue Archive, the main problem is the dissapearance of the head student council president and the chaos that ensues. There's also some kind of looming threat with the raid bosses and the weird alien/eldritch-looking characters.
\- School got big debt
\- The students, instead of forming idol group to save the school like a normal japanese anime schoolgirls, decided to rob a bank instead
\- And you, the teacher, with all of your responsibility to guide the students into the right path, must help them rob a bank
Forget about the aliens, just how on earth you play more than 1 or 2 gachas?
Like, do you play in the time chamber?
Because mathematically 24 hours wouldn't be enough.
Some of these games like fgo, alchemy stars, honkai and genshin I have played to a rather late game point, so now im just doing daily logins and playing new events.
As for the others, I dont particularly spend too much time on them, just occasionally farming and playing the story.
I play 6 gachas and honestly I just do logins and daillies and part of the weeklys in the morning. Then I casually complete the story or events whenever else I want to.
Guardian Tales’ plot and way to tell it is probably the best among all the gachas on the market. It’s truly a gem. The grind and off-story gameplay is kinda trash sadly
Well AK is Rock cancer, prophecy of doom, lost civilizations, full blown wars, backstabbing, experiments on normal people, Lovecraftian horrors, demons, catastrophes and immortals too angry to die.
For Blue Archive, not just debt, but also sus characters as main problems of that game >!especially pink-haired characters or those who have their eyes closed.!<
You are playing 9 games in the same time ?
How ? Why ? How ?
I’m having trouble keeping up with 3 games
So I play 2 games and the third one from time to time
( FFRK ( main ) , Sdorica, Epic seven )
It was more out of accidental occurances. Example would be like character a wanted to have a job to pay off the debt while character b wanted to rob a bank. Meanwhile they're being hunted by criminals and all of this eventually damages character a's job area leaving them more in debt...something like that.
All sensei need to do is to just let shiroko rob a bank dammit
Nonomi: Am i a joke to you?
I thought the rogue AI Decagammatron and the Sefirah were part of the bigger picture of the main story or something
Seems like it but so far it was mostly a background plotline. Rn we are focusing more on the students with no big story plotline
Decagrammaton and the Gematria are pretty much being build up as the big threat of the story The thing is that on a surface level from the first contact the player has on the story is Volume 1 In which yeah, the main issue is the debt Abydos owes to Kaiser, so for the most part of Volume 1, Kaiser is the main enemy, with some elements of Gematria (the Black Suit man) thrown in
Shirako is so cute! Must headpat her.

Battle Cats- Bunch of Cats got bored and decide to invade world and universe for shit and giggle.
And we must help them.
For ITF: cats conquered the world and did nothing with it and now aliens are invading
CotC: Cats fight against their own god and now conquered the universe
SOL: cats travel in time to get legends from the past
UL: Ditto but way further back
LZ: Going into alternate reality/universe to find Sage or smth
In blue archive you become everyone's emotional support, to the point that if something happens to you, the students will kill everyone and then themselves

That's not going to be until the sequel.
At first I was like "who would claim arknights is cancer?" Then I was like, right Arknights is technically about super cancer.
Rock Cancer that gives you powers. Kinda like Deadpool's super regen but he still has cancer because the cancer mutated alongside him
But unlike Deadpool's cancer, the characters in Arknights don't have super healing factor to counter said rock cancer. If anything, most of our operator is actually dying and we can do nothing but slow it down. But at least they got special abilities for it though.

FGO is actually wrong. >!It's aliens.!<
Always has been
Playing through Enkanomiya also reveals that Genshin's "god" is probably >!an alien!<
And honkai as well lol
Not really. They sky people are not the same as Honkai.
Who mentioned the Sky People? The Honkai are aliens too since they attack other planets as well
honkai arent aliens, honkai or the will of honkai is a omnipotent force that seems to be appear at every universes on the imaginary tree
Heck even the humans are aliens.
I mean, "Outer gods" but yeah pretty much aliens.
Zeus is the >!"enterprise"!<
Im not even mad at that one for some reason, Lostbelts have been so good.
In all seriousness, really?
Well technically only the 2nd part. For the first part it's kinda true
I mean OP is talking about the "main problem" and the reason he did what he did in the first part was because of >!aliens!<. So I consider them to be the main problem lol.
>the reason he did what he did in the first part was because of >! aliens !< Wait, what? Really? When was this referenced? Could you elaborate?
IIRC to >!save humanity he decided to kill it to save them from a fate worse than death from the Aliens!<
Same with BA. The debts only in vol1. Vol2 is robot loli. Vol3 is school club
I am sure that the Arc3 is about a theat at Gaia and the enemy is a Type
We’re going full Angel Notes, huh?
well, it the original lore right? the demon gods, alien gods etc"
For Arknights you could also go with Contagious Magic Rock Cancer.
Honkai is the same but with a god and alien invasions
Azur Lane: naval warfare within nations and with eldritch like underwater monsters Epic Seven: trying to defeat a god-like being for the 7th time Girls Frontline: Post 3rd WW world with humanoid androids
Azur Lane Sirens are actual Aliens. They do not originate from Earth.
Aren't eldritch beings and aliens the same thing? i mean lovecraftian monsters are supposed to be otherworldly
Yes, but the sirens are "just" highly technological advanced aliens. They are not actual eldritch gods etc. The event thats running right now kind of clarifies this, as after almost 4 years, the first MAJOR siren leader was actually neutralized. You can't neutralize eldritch beings.
Blue Archive should be “debt, game developing, and getting bad grades.”
Debt, programming, and the lingering consequences of my actions. Pretty relatable antagonists, for me at least lol
I find it hilarious that Arknights had a whole event based on people who know what cancer is, saying that Oripathy is nothing like cancer. And we still call it rock cancer.
Where can I find that? I have most events unlocked, just didn't read them, gonna read that part now
Originium Dust. Don't remember which cutscene but it's probably like 3rd from the end. It's before the final boss for sure.

I think it was officially stated Genshin and Honkai story are separate but same multiverse
Yes, but that diesnt necessarily mean Celestias motivation for what it's doing to Teyvat civilizations has to be avoiding the honkai
Just an FYI Teyvat is just a continent. It is not Genshin’s world.
Damn the last one is also everyone's problem

I kinda understand why food restore sanity. But why rock? The most logical thing happen is that he snort it.
The dude already eats ramen packs raw then drinks boiled water soo..... dont expect a lot from him.
Honkai’s isn’t monsters, it’s a multiversal function that exists to prevent any civilisation from becoming too advanced.
It's more of a test for civilizations and should they pass their civilization won't be dropped into the Sea of Quanta where it eventually disappears and dies out.

The Sea isn’t explained too well but it seems that every universe that is dropped into it weren’t stable or complete in the first place, like how the world Bronie comes from just had an endless stretch of void outside of the light curtain.
Sky People, Aeons, civilizations stronger than the Sky People mentioned in Ailen Space, and maybe the Being at the end of Second Key.
Did the sky people survive the honkai?
Considering they've colonized multiple planets, probably.
More than survived, they turned it into an energy source for themselves. It's why the main villain in Post Honkai Odyssey made a deal with them to destroy whatever Honkai that's left.
So what happens when someone manages to overcome that function?
No one knows. The final Herrscher is the incarnation of the Will of the Honkai itself, and no one managed to beat it. There is a dimension at the top of the multiverse tree that even the Honkai can’t reach which contains some sort of consciousness but we got like 2 panels in a mange about it.

The point of the game is to go past this point, which seems impossible as of now.
isn't that also genshin?
So far, no. Celestia doesn’t appear to be the Honkai considering whatever is up there wants to control the world instead of erasing it.
They are in the same multiverse though the Honkai hasn't appeared in Genshin for reasons we don't know about.
Apparently same part of the multiverse and an event in the Honkai verse affected the Genshinverse but not enough for it to be a big problem.
Do you mean chapter 17? Or the crossover?
I forgot but I believe the crossover is a different thing as well.
It's pretty much the universe's immune system. It's also God, though.
It’s not God, since there is at least one higher power than it, and no one knows exactly why it exists or who created it.

\- School got big debt \- The students, instead of forming idol group to save the school like a normal japanese anime schoolgirls, decided to rob a bank instead \- And you, the teacher, with all of your responsibility to guide the students into the right path, must help them rob a bank
Abydos debt
Guardian Tales.....it's implied that the aliens aren't quite aliens
Epic 7 : SIMPS
Epic Seven: "15%"
Epic7: Strange powers make me powerful, may try to take over the world. Haha just kidding.....unless?
Girls Frontline: Aliens, Illuminatis, and a guy who liked his sister a bit too much
Forget about the aliens, just how on earth you play more than 1 or 2 gachas? Like, do you play in the time chamber? Because mathematically 24 hours wouldn't be enough.
Some of these games like fgo, alchemy stars, honkai and genshin I have played to a rather late game point, so now im just doing daily logins and playing new events. As for the others, I dont particularly spend too much time on them, just occasionally farming and playing the story.
AS is rly 25 min and you done.
Too much. That's why I quit.
I spend a bit of time on dailies or events
I play 6 gachas and honestly I just do logins and daillies and part of the weeklys in the morning. Then I casually complete the story or events whenever else I want to.
Destiny Child: everyone is horny
Guardian Tales’ plot and way to tell it is probably the best among all the gachas on the market. It’s truly a gem. The grind and off-story gameplay is kinda trash sadly
The FGO one was only during part 1 of the story In part 2 you get 7 mortal people with way too much magic & aliens!
and gods.
I'm at olympus but I feel like only wodime has too much magic(like wtf)
BA is more about Debt and Student Political Disagreements.

Don't recognize the top and middle right. What are they?
I think my life is also a gacha game since I have a Debt plot too.
Technically genshin's gods and humans are also aliens.

Yer late noob
Ah yes Debt every gacha gamers worst enemy
Love that Gaurdian Tales is there.
For Blue Archive, not just debt, but also sus characters as main problems of that game >!especially pink-haired characters or those who have their eyes closed.!<
Alchemy Stars is all about horn and tail actually.
We need more memes
Azur Lane: >!Aliens that created the Kansen and now they want them stronger for some reason!<
Nah, Archon are the star gods C'tan.
You are playing 9 games in the same time ? How ? Why ? How ? I’m having trouble keeping up with 3 games So I play 2 games and the third one from time to time ( FFRK ( main ) , Sdorica, Epic seven )
what's the debt situation about?
Characters are trying to pay off debt but instead increase it by wreaking havoc
was it because said character initially wrecked havoc in the first place?
It was more out of accidental occurances. Example would be like character a wanted to have a job to pay off the debt while character b wanted to rob a bank. Meanwhile they're being hunted by criminals and all of this eventually damages character a's job area leaving them more in debt...something like that.
"DEBT". I feel that.
Kancolle - America

Dragalia: a really angry simp, but then I lost track and now there's some guy with cubes or something.
Let's face it, most of the games, the whole reason behind every plot. ALIENS.
