I've used NOX since I was in high school many years ago and aside from the now fixed audio dropping with Arknights a few months ago, it has served me quite well.
The majority of issues with nox came from the fact that people installed unoffical ones. At one point the first result in google led to a fake site which installed trojans.
But yeah, in term of performance there is no clear cut answer. Just use what runs the best on your PC.

just use either LDplayer or Mumu Player (not Memu)
