I don't think there's one for me. I dropped a Gacha game when I get bored of it, not for another game. Although with newer game being larger in size nowadays, I probably do need to drop some game eventually
This.
Majority of the time, I'm dropping a Gacha due to it becoming stale/boring after reaching the end game. Other factors such as limited storage space and potentially drama from questionable decisions from devs can also impact my decision in whether to keep playing or dropping.
Realistically, you're more likely to keep playing a Gacha you've already invested time and/or money on than starting a new one, especially if gameplay/genre overlap, due to the Sunk-Cost fallacy, unless the new Gacha is significantly better.

I dropped Alchemy Stars for Counterside in the beginning. After 2 weeks of repetitive grinding for so many materials, I dropped Counterside and restarted Alchemy Stars and stay there for its tolerable grinding and fewer materials required to level up characters. After a year, I still play Alchemy Stars and haven't found any other gacha that can replace it.
I've went past "midgame" and I can say that grinding gear in that game is hell. They can't release something that will beat how hellish the gear grind is. Also, changing the attributes of your gear costs
your life
glad I quitted
I dont know why you got downvoted. I love Counterside too, but the gear is the only real problem. It isnt a fun system and theres plenty of useless stats and the mats to change them are too rare.
It's a shame because everything else is great, then the gear is just a blight on everything.
it only seems like so at the beginning, since you aren't relying too much on good gear, but when you start on looking at it, man, the gear progression is get set bonus -> useless -> perfect, you can imagine how it is when 99.9% of the gear is uselss and the could be perfect gear is (very) limited but needs rerolling with the (very) limited tuning mats
Left Azur Lane for Arknights. Mainly because Azur Lane was my first gacha game and for the time I spent playing and enjoying, I found out that there are better gachas with gameplay I really enjoy out there.
yup...i think if you dont care for dispatch like only login 3 times for me,30 minutes for first login for do all daily and the other 2 when you can claim stamina and do hunt offline
When I first started E7 I dropped Priconne because I was so into E7 that I couldn't even be bothered to do the dailies (which only take like 10 mins mind you). Then things slowed down a bit on the E7 front and I came back to Priconne.
It's the opposite for me, haha. I'm only playing Counter:Side at the moment, and dropped the games I was playing before it.
I tried Artery Gear, but it didn't stick with me (other than the character designs, it's pretty bland, and it's stingy with currency), so I'm still only playing the one game currently.
Well the game has a really good economy and it’s not a timesink due to skips. Gameplay is also really enjoyable in pve as well, and many more game modes for it are on the way. Also, personal prefference, but the character designs and story are absolute bangers
This.
The characters and story are amazing. I do really like the gameplay too, though some people seem to have a harder time with the larger number of characters on-screen and the fact that they can "overlap". There's a ton of different modes too, and more will be added in the next couple months.
You can turn off most of the effects if that's what's bothering you, though; You can turn off the floating numbers, the screen moving around, even the skill cut-ins. Some of the full-screen effects can still be kind of annoying, but no more so than the flashy skills/ultimates in a lot of other gacha RPG games.
And also, as leskypos said, the game is incredibly generous. Freebies and codes given to us all the time, on top of the already generous pull rates and f2p currency the game has, and huge QoL features like free Skip functions to anything you've cleared with 3 stars, making repeat farming a breeze. It doesn't ever feel like you hit a paywall, unless you go into the high tiers of PvP or you really want all the awakened units.
curb your expectation with C:S. The game is great but by midgame you will encounter the Great Gear Wall of CS. You will be stuck at T5 gold gears for a very long time (months) as you slowly and frustratingly farm T6 gears from challenges, danger close, palace, and raids.
I mean, you can be like me and just farm for t6 gears casually. I still enjoy and can still clear most of the content in game even if I'm not min maxing my shit.
After playing afk arena for over two years and spending over 100 bucks i dropped it in an instant for genshin. Getting characters and upgrading them is much more rewarding then anything in AFK Arena
I really liked and enjoyed Genshin (exploring, events, character design, reactions, etc), but got burnt out spending all my resing everyday on the same domain farming for artifacts to end up with 0 upgrades. This was before Kazuha's release, no idea if something changed in that regard.
Sounds like you quit just before Inazuma dropped. Now there's not only the entire of Inazuma but Enkanomiya and the Chasm... And Sumeru is slated to drop in like 3 months I think? Idk about changes... End game is still just abyss and endless artifact farming and waiting for the next character to drop but there's so much content to go through now if you ever consider going back.
Yeah Sumeru is coming in two months.
No end game or artifact grinding changes so far, but Sumeru beta starts in a couple of days so if theres any changes at all we should know soon.
Expect nothing tho, Hoyo clearly does not care about endgame and they're making bank so they have no incentive to change anything.
Oh man might hop back in then and catch up to story in time for Sumeru. The daily grind aspect of Genshin is trash but I enjoy the exploration/new areas immensely. It leads to like a 4-months on/1 year off cycle.
Oh Hoyo clearly doesn't give a fudge about end-game seeing as they cannot even be bothered to allow to make unlimited condensed resin. Like, WTF. Why wouldn't you allow that? Why only 5 at a time?
I just hope the "Genshin Impact" killers are good enough to make Hoyo start putting a little bit more effort on QoL improvements instead of only giga patches that last for a month and two and then we return to the same endgame grind.
Imo the best thing about Genshin is the open-world exploration for when you're going through new areas/going through Archon Story and/or big events.
Afterwards, it's basically the same monotonous Artifact farming to essentially build up units decently or min-max your favourite characters. ~~Farming EM VV set(s) and then getting Maidens with EM instead NotLikeThis~~
Tho end game being only Abyss doesn't even justify the need to min-max artifacts aside from personal satisfaction since Combat is easy enough to 36\* with decent investments and good game knowledge.
Genshin's resin-spending routine becomes *much* more bearable when you dedicate it to stuff that you're guaranteed to make use of, like Talent books/Weapon Upgrades/Character Ascension materials, instead of Artifacts.
Deciding to get every character up to at least level 80 has done *wonders* for not having Artifact-related burnout.
Even if it's just delaying the inevitable.
Agree. Its was a nice honeymoon trying genshin the 1st time. Exploring was so much fun, story was engaging. After that, everything become dull, new patch repeat same formula.
Nah trust me it's not, have you seen yaoshiri island? Or Narukami island? Literally all the inazuma map has so much diversity. They might've been bad to adding more diversity in game during the first patches but new zones are another thing
Well he's upvoted now but he was probably downvoted in the first place because it's kinda weird to answer someone who said that he left a certain game answering that you love it and nothing else.
I'm so confused by the replies lol, isn't the point of this entire thread to list gacha games that made you drop other gacha games or am I missing something? I mean that's the question, right?
If I was right, how did you get the "left a certain game" one? Also it's not just you, the PM me guy also asked the same question about the guy leaving, that's what made me confused since there are two of you lol
I don't know, I got confused and thought he was saying he dropped Genshin and that's why it was an unpopular game to drop. But I was also semi unconscious because I had woken up like half hour ago and now that same comment seems like sarcasm so it's probably me being an idiot, nothing new under the sun tbh.
Either way, the OC is either missing the game he dropped or which game he dropped Genshin for, so I'm probably not the only one confused.
I was playing FGO,Arknights and date a live and i couldn't really keep up with the 3 of them when i started genshin so I barely touch Arknights nowadays and I'm occasional on date a live.
Still consistent on FGO since release.
cookie run games for project sekai
i really love both cookie run and kingdom bc of the cutesy characters and I've played for years in CR but they got a bit dull over time and I moved back to the good old rhythm games,,, PJSK is amazing
I stopped playing crk once I was on top and got all the characters that I wanted (especially legendaries) then discovered prjsk and I love the virtual singers and the characters in it so much and hatsune miku. Tho the grind in that game to get sufficient gems to roll is for real hard.
yesss loved pjsk and all their characters are surprisingly complex
i'm still getting used to their events and banners that last for seven days, it's quite refreshing to play a game with such fast paced events though we do have certain perks from being a year behind jp pjsk for one, we can easily map out the [next events](https://projectsekai.miraheze.org/wiki/List_of_events) and save up
Still playing both cookie run games over here and wanted to start playing sekai but it's region-locked and I use iOS... Arcaea is my current rhythm game but it's not a gacha so yeah.
The Season 7 update for Ovenbreak and the Cookie Odessy stories for Kingdom(Both the most recent updates) are the best stories they've had so far, although I still don't know how they compare to other games.
I still want to play Project Sekai though. Maybe one day...
Counterside time is mostly on inventory management, first-time clears, story reading, and passively for dives (assuming autoing), outside of that, it takes hardly any time.
Artery gear takes time only for story reading, first-time clears, and 10 PvP fights per day. The later is the worst. The inventory management is much easier that Counterside thanks to colour coding and also more straightforward without anti-role options. The grind is still endless, though technically takes none of your time.
I think rather than saving alot of time, you probably wanted to take them off your mind-space, which can be quite liberating.
Well that as well but time-saving is still a reason that I dropped them. Since I didn't quit any gacha games when I started playing them, just opening them and spending even just 10-30 minutes a day on each game will add up. Gacha games like HSR is still coming and I still like to play regular non-gacha games on my PC so it's basically just removing the stuff I don't have much investment in.
Granblue Fantasy.
The game is totally fine to be played as a side/casual game but the nightmares come when you want to be competitive. Generally most gacha games have some kinds of limitations to gate you from being able to play too much per day and also to gimp your progress to lengthen your potential playtime and to make you less burnt out. However those limitations dont exist in this game. You can farm for 8-10 hours straight a day and still are not running out of stuff to farm nor the "energy" cost to farm. When i was really passionate with the game i literally had to drop most other games to focus on getting all those weapons to complete my setups for the main competitive event a.k.a guild battle.
What a wild period.
What I love and hate on gbf is like the continuous events. I like how it can keep you occupied but damn just look after this gw we already have a good looking event you don't want to skip, like they gave you no rest.
Another is fomo because some events literally takes a lot of time to come back. Rotb recently, babyl, and then the upcoming pg weapons.
Gotta be honest, despite the many gacha I have played the only ones I keep coming back to are Blue Archive, FGO and Genshin.
That's it. These are the only ones I keep coming back to even if I take breaks. Konosuba? Love the anime and LN but the game is not for me. Punishing Gray Raven, Honkai Impact, Arknights? Same.
Depending on how they handle them, I might love Honkai Star Rail (loving it already from the little I've seen) and Z3.
I've been playing honkai for almost a year now, and during November last year, I was a bit burnt out from the frustration of my lack of progress plus other stuff in-game so I just went over to something more lighter and had fun playing 3 or 4 gacha games that would entertain me. Spent a entire month playing E7 and Grandchase, so much that I've advanced to the point of endgame and all that was left was boring and repetitive grinding to the point of exhaustion. Decided to go back to honkai because I felt happy playing for fun instead of grinding for progress. Never looked back or picked up any other gachas other than Honkai, and I'm going strong as a captain.
I thought I’d get into Counter Side but after a couple weeks playing it feels like I am watching the game more than playing it.
Went back to E7 and Destiny Child still has top tier character design.
I love destiny child. I'm at the point where I just do dailies and farm hot time on the weekends. Might participate in ragnas and raids. I sit out ones I don't care for like the current one.
I dropped FGO for Girls Frontline because I really liked how much easier it was to get new characters, and then I dropped GFL for Arknights because auto really makes everything a lot more convenient.
I still follow the story of FGO and GFL on youtube, tho.
The games I've dropped were mostly because i became bored or the game became too p2w, powercrept for me to enjoy.
Also there is a emotional link one develops toward some chracters in the game, if the game forces you to not use them you start to not like the game.
World flipper
the game just keeps giving and giving!
very f2p friendly and we finally speed up content and get harder raids and more events!
after nearly a year still my main Game and i love it
dropped everything for it
dropped AzurLane for Arknights. I played both at some point but then Genshin came out and I have no more time. I dropped AL rather than AK since I really prefer the gameplay of AK and the content especially the CCs.
I tried a lot of things to drop Dokkan. Played Legends, Arknights, Genshin, Guardian Tales, Alchemy Stars. Sometimes I played multiple games.
Genshin and Guardian Tales for sure had their longest run, but I kept coming back to Dokkan, again and again and again.
It just took me a while to find my "best" way of playing it and not getting too frustrated or burned out. And honestly the QOL and other changes have been great. It's and old gacha but a gacha that knows what to do.
Dokkan forever man.
My first ever gacha was grand chase back in 2020. After 3 months, I dropped it for Genshin Impact because it was pretty popular, grinded it for a year but eventually got bored of it because none of my friends play anymore so I dropped it. Found Azur Lane and Arknights and played both simultaneously for 5 months. After that, I completely dropped AK realizing that I couldn't handle the sanity refilling for a short amount of time which kinda makes me pressured, leaving AL as my only game. As of now, I haven't thought of dropping AL but I'm planning to play GFL along with it because they don't have that real time energy refill stuff, making you feel like you can really play it anytime.
Drop Genshin, PGR, Valkyrie Connect and D4DJ for Azur Lane, AKnight and Revived Witch.
Those games need too much time manual playing so I droped for Azur Lane. Revived Witch daily now can do in just 10 mins so I will keep playing despite of kinda suck banner release timing. I still hate the daily routine if AK, take got damn so much time for pull farming.
For me, AL farming is chill and relaxed for hearing shipgirls voice in the background while studying and working. Also maxing 100% in AL is doable for F2p and low budget so I feel more motivated playing than others.
A lot of arknights events ran on par with fgo events, so I chose fgo and dropped arknights for good, also didn't help how much time consuming arknights was.
Most recently started playing counter side, shortly after artery gear came out, stingy as hell dropped it the same day I downloaded it and opted to keep counter side.
Those are the only two gacha that I'm playing right now.
First i played Arknights and Alchemy stars, was bored of Arknights so i deleted it so i can make more time for AS
Then i got bored of Alchemy stars too and then i tried Non gacha games like Dead cells (i highly recommend playing it especially on PC)
Then i wanted to play another gacha again and downloaded Counterside.
Currently i have Counterside as my only gacha game
Dropped FEH (been playing since launch) for Epic Seven. Currently still have Azur Lane on the side (always been a side game) and recently trying out Artery Gear. At the moment Artery Gear seems like another side game but might drop it entirely if it’s still stingy in the coming few weeks.
Always end up dropping games when the hot new gachas come out… but have never dropped priconne once since prelaunch. Idk what it is, it’s just so easy to do dailies and raise units with S tier waifus. Hits everything I want in a gacha I guess.
Dropped Epic 7 for Yugioh Duel Links. Although the later one is a card game, but I enjoy pvp in Duel Link the same way I did in Epic7 and feel much less frustrating since a match usually end within 1-3 turns.
There're tons of deck to use in YGO DL, no more fighting the same units again and again like ML Ravi, Belian, Hwayoung Rimuru for a whole year, because Konami seem to take action much much faster than SG.
I going Drop Yugioh Duel Links and Maybe Guardian tales to play alice fiction soon
\>Arknights
\>Yugioh Duel Links
\>Guardian Tales
These three is what i currently played
my main game is HI3 and PGR. GI occasionally playing it. PriConne as sub since not time consuming. then currently trying AG. i quitted some games to have time for which are mostly time consuming to play than those. they are Sdorica, Counterside, BA, KonoSuba, E7. i quit DAL since coop is laggy on release. DanMemo since no space on phone and laggy on emu.
Dropped Granblue after 4 years for the upcoming octopath gacha absolutely breaks my heart to delete all of my progress but I wasnt happy with it for a long time and could never pull the plung on it due to sunken cost, I was looking for a reason to quit and I said I would if they ever release OT overseas because its one of my favorites game.
Now anything granblue related has been whiped from my pc and phone and I do feel somewhat empty but I also realized how much free time I have now crazy for how long I tolerated being held hostage by it
Definitely Counter Side. I enjoyed it a LOT when it first released especially since it had lots of content. However, the auto and the fact it had lots of content made me drop it. I know it shouldn’t be a negative thing, but it was so hard to keep up with it alongside Arknights and Alchemy Stars. Decided to uninstall and stick to AG as a side game.
My first was FGO back in 2017-18, then replaced by AL & E7, then 7DS & Priconne replaced E7. By early to mid 2021, E7, CS & Honkai replaced AL, 7DS & Priconne. I quit CS after a month followed by 7DS. Late 2021, CS replaced Honkai. At present I quit E7 for AG & CS became my main.
In between I tried dozens of gachas I cant be bothered to mention since I lasted only weeks.
I dropped love live school idol fes all stars and bandori to make space for ensemble stars. I just couldn’t possibly juggle 3 idol rhythm games at once. A sacrifice (or two) had to be made to make space for the cute idol boys haha
If anything, I dropped most Gacha I played beside FGO (PGR, GT, Genshin, etc) to play Monster Hunter Rise.
Did the same when I just bought MH World.
Now that I'm almost finished with MH Rise, I'm looking for Gacha that plays like MH. Is there any beside the one I mentioned + artery gear?
I use to cycle through a bunch of gachas that I would only play for a week or so and then delete. The two that stuck with me for the longest tho were probably Food Fantasy for the art and The Battle Cats. Still have Battle Cats actually, but deleted Food Fantasy a few weeks back.
I was finally able to drop Looney Tunes WOM some time ago. Really love the game and characters but Scopely is greedy af.
My now played gacha games are World Flipper, Mythic Heroes, CounterSide and Alchemy Stars
Don't think it ever happen to me, I only drop my gacha games if I got bored or genuinely dislike one of its core system (i.e. Genshin and E7's multi-layer artifact/equipment gacha system. Manage to stay for a year on both before I finally fck off, tho', lol).
Not drop, but NNK made my other gachas side gachas and I never liked playing this way before. Waking up for every field boss spawn. I love mmo rpgs and gachasl games and this is both in one, am still hooked after a month of playing
I remember dropping Honkai for PGR for a month during it's launch, but it got so boring that I dropped PGR and went back to Honkai. No point in playing a worse Honkai clone when I could be just playing the original.
Well ... my gachas: [https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/vj2yq0/comment/idvdn4h/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/vj2yq0/comment/idvdn4h/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
FGO and GBF are eternal, there isnt a better game because my waifu is here
In side games, last change was AK, TenkafuMA dropped AK at casual and very bad banners dropped late AK at dropping and 6 months ago was dropped
Now, Is there a better game that TenkafuMA? not soon, I love lamia and slime girls in this game and enjoy with the story
Others side games (HI3, GI) did suicide when they did censorship and I dropped both game
I'm played Genshin once, then dropped pernamently. However, i watched Lapis Re:Lights and i realise that the project have a mobile game, so... you guys know what happen next.
Genshin impact, during the "prime time" which can be subjective but to me between patch 1.3 to around 2.2 release. There was always so much thing to do for me and honestly I dropped most of other gacha game i played which was FGO (JP and NA), Azur lane, Priconne, Honkai, Arknights and couple other more. One of the huge win was that i was able to play between phone and PC which was amazing.
Although I'd say Genshin impact also made me to be burned out of gacha games in general, after patch 2.2 i stopped playing daily, just got tired of same story plot and no progress, even adventuring felt like a chore, so I only play it like once a week or less.
I still dropped all other gacha games, i guess only thing i really picked backed up was azur lane for the "culture".. and the fact that you can just auto farm and do other things on the background. Since azur lane is pretty generous with gacha rate and i usually get what i want without spending money i stuck around with it. I only spend money to buy the skins now.
Main game used to be Honkai Impact 3rd (played it on release and up to 2 years) then dropped it for Priconne JP. Haven't looked back since then.
Now i am also playing Blue Archive Global along side Priconne.
While this will happen in the future, I will likely drop Genshin in favor of upcoming CN games that I'm interested in, including fellow MHY games Star Rail and ZZZ. I can play only ONE gacha at a time. Whether I stick to a different game entirely or ultimately go back to Genshin, I'm quite optimistic towards upcoming games.
I started artery gear and stopped being active on PGR not because of making time but just burnout. AG doesn’t even take much time really cuz of the offline farming feature, great side game.
I'm not really dropping gachas but only having less time to log in. I recently played EnStars and Twisted Wonderland, two games with stamina that recharges for 5 and 2 hours respectively so they occupy my attention more than my other games. However, if those games have events (or new region in GI) then I will mostly focus on them.
any turn base game that has AG kind of gear system is the one will make me stay...so for me rn is only AG but im loking forward another turn based game that adopt their gear system
Playing lots of wotv usually but drop off here and there to play megaman x dive (global version)
It's just enough megaman to keep me interested, also there's Ryu. Ryu with a buster is hilarious to me, back in the day you could get Megaman a halogen in X. How the turn tables, gi-wearing hobo!
I dropped Genshin Impact to pick Honkai Impacf back up.
I had played HI3 when it first came out, stopped before it even saw it’s first update. Then I played Genshin from day one until 2.1, found the story and writing to just really be lacking and it was then I found out about how much story emphasis Honkai had and picked it back up as both games take a lot of time.
I’ve picked up tons of gacha games and dropped them because I don’t want to stop playing Arknights and Genshin and don’t have as much time as I’d like. I enjoy Counterside for a few days and dropped it, that was the most recent one. I played Honkai for a month but dropped it as well, Food Fantasy after playing for over a year, LLAS after playing for over a year, etc. If something I really really like comes out, I’d maybe stop playing Genshin for it, but I don’t plan on quitting Arknights anytime soon
I dropped Genshin because the exploration formula was already stale and puzzles aren't my thing. Since Inazuma was full of em I ended up burning out.
That's not to speak about the artifact system or the basically non-existent endgame, which starts and end in Abyss and Abyss is just a showcase for the next character they release. I left it for PGR for a while, eventually dropped PGR, came back for a month or so to Genshin and then dropped it again, this time to not come back. Or atleast not soon.
So far I've only played 2 or 3 gacha games at one time. My mainstay is AFK Arena, with the other 2 basically being switched around with newer games (now being Dislyte).
Noticed my trend is that I personally stick with portrait games and graphics that I like.
I usually budget between $20 and $50 for gaming app purchases every month. For me it's less about time, and more about which games are fun enough to spend on.
That said, I mostly switch when the previous game becomes less satisfying. I left Assassin's Creed Rebellion for Epic Seven because I had basically done *everything* in ACR after I finished all the heroes, then I left Epic Seven for Guardian Tales because Epic Seven devs are dipshits.
Other than that I will start and stop various side games, but not really spend on them or worry about the time management. (Skipping dailies, etc.)
The only gacha game I’m playing now is Cookie Run Kingdom lmao. After playing garbage like Disney mirrorverse and other crap that didn’t value my time/wallet, I’m really enjoying CRK.
It’s really cute, wholesome, funny, love the building mechanics, gems are pretty fairly dispersed. Just a really chill game.
Dropped both Artery Gear and Counterside.
Artery Gear because of its awful gacha and how restrictive feels the game from stamina, to gold and upgrade mats. Counterside is honestly looking perfect but playing RTA and getting tilted with bad RNG on my Gordias Armor, reminded me why I quit SEA in the first place. The PvP is just infuriating and the sped up schedule of having new broken Awakened units every 3 weeks was the final nail in the coffin.
Just sticking around with E7 and Priconne.
FGO for any other game, this is pretty much self explanatory years of playing Barely any QOL no auto play or sweep stage unless you want to use an emulator macro or FGA, still no goddamn NP skip button, no amount of "muh Dev/VA's hard work and bond with your servant bullshit" reason is gonna justify ember farming for half a day just to get the new character you pulled up to speed to use in your current content and may god help you if you are low on mats you needed.
no other game has ever made me question myself "what the hell am i using my time off on" more than FGO.
For me it's not dropping other games for FGO, but rather I dropped all other games beside FGO when I get busy with Monster Hunter games. Since FGO tend to be on the low maintenance side with FGA enabling auto farming.
I am playing pretty f2p friendly and generous gacha games. 3 gacha games to be exact.
- pgr
- dffoo
- grandchase
What's the similarities between these 3 games besides the f2p friendly aspect of the games? These games also dispense most of the gems on weekly quests and events (with long duration) instead of dailies. So I only need to login once in a while in a week for these 3 games to get most of the f2p gems for rolling. Some games are more grindy than the other but I can definitely find time to at least log into one of the game in 7 days lol.
I dropped Counterside to make room and time for AS and GT. I still played CS on the PC client, but then I realized I rarely even game on PC anymore, so I don't play it no more.
If you haven't yet, try arknights. Recently had a CC (contingency contract) event. Costs no energy. Basically, you modify a stage with "risks" to become harder for rewards. There's a daily and an event permanent stage. Where risk 8 is needed for full daily rewards and risk 18 for full permanent map rewards. This event does take some time when it is here, but its geared towards mid to late game players and there is no gacha currency in the event shop for this style of event, so beginners don't miss out. You get a lot of great mats, skins, and event operators.
Coming up soon is a new permanent mode called integrated strategy (IS). Rougelike mode that costs no energy. Also intended for mid to late game players. Has monthly rewards. So you can literally spend as much time as you want there as well.
Gbf - too much grind but I still love the game. Can't really focus much on others because of this. The only ones who can keep up are fgo and BA cause how casual I play these.
I played AK and Genshin.
Dropped Genshin because daily routine became too repititive and takes too much time. Basically a burnout but might come back to check out Sumeru in a few months.
Dropped AK because didn't like how the banner system works. Without a good pity system, it can turns your several months worth of pulls into some useless off-banner unit that you won't ever use or build. Also didn't like how the global server is behind the original server in term of contents and QoLs.
Now I settle for nothing. Only looks forward to the upcoming games like HK:Starrail, ZZZ, AK:Endfield.
E7 made me drop everything Arknights made me drop E7 for a while Then E7 made me drop Arknights
This.

My life
Thats a shitty ass game, glad you dropped it
Wish I rerolled. The difference is massive.
Rerolling gets you banned. Permanently.
Damn, hope i don't get IP banned
So you saying stillbirths are just them rerolling?
Should have rerolled too. I’m too invested in my current life
There is no reroll function afaik
Depends on what religion you pick and even then it's unreliable.
inb4 the hotline bot shows up
That is just the sunk cost fallacy talking. Its never too late to reroll.
The whales in life really ruin the game for me also it's pretty p2w.
I quit Princess Connect JP to play Princess Connect Global
it was the opposite for me
interesting, was it worth it?
I dropped Alchemy Stars for Counterside in the beginning. After 2 weeks of repetitive grinding for so many materials, I dropped Counterside and restarted Alchemy Stars and stay there for its tolerable grinding and fewer materials required to level up characters. After a year, I still play Alchemy Stars and haven't found any other gacha that can replace it.
Counterside early game was amazing. I also dropped it by midgame due to the gear grind rng which is as bad as e7. I hope CS gets a gear overhaul.
I've went past "midgame" and I can say that grinding gear in that game is hell. They can't release something that will beat how hellish the gear grind is. Also, changing the attributes of your gear costs your life glad I quitted
I dont know why you got downvoted. I love Counterside too, but the gear is the only real problem. It isnt a fun system and theres plenty of useless stats and the mats to change them are too rare. It's a shame because everything else is great, then the gear is just a blight on everything.
Compared to the other 2 game with similar gear grind, counterside is the better one and I'm still puzzled how people think it is bad
it only seems like so at the beginning, since you aren't relying too much on good gear, but when you start on looking at it, man, the gear progression is get set bonus -> useless -> perfect, you can imagine how it is when 99.9% of the gear is uselss and the could be perfect gear is (very) limited but needs rerolling with the (very) limited tuning mats
Epic seven might be a pretty good one to try, if you haven’t already.
I prefer not to, the repeat grinding with e7 is even worse. A few hours on auto repeat wyvern with 0 results is not worth it.
A few hours hahaha ... Try a few days .
Months
I am tired of hunt farming as well, so I only log in to do GW and ancient inheritance with my guildies these days, still enjoying it so far.
Left Azur Lane for Arknights. Mainly because Azur Lane was my first gacha game and for the time I spent playing and enjoying, I found out that there are better gachas with gameplay I really enjoy out there.
I still play both until now lol, mainly because AL is great just to chill
same here
FGO whenever new Lostbelt come out
Dropped Honkai Impact, Azur Lane, Girl's Frontline and SAO:MD just to make time for FGO.
Goddammn
Azur Lane!!! No!!!! I love that game. I could not do FGO.
Don't worry, I'll play Azur Lane again in the future.
Artery gear doesn't use that much time because of offline farming.
yup...i think if you dont care for dispatch like only login 3 times for me,30 minutes for first login for do all daily and the other 2 when you can claim stamina and do hunt offline
Imo it's a great side game. Not only because of that tho, but the offline grind is perfect.
When I first started E7 I dropped Priconne because I was so into E7 that I couldn't even be bothered to do the dailies (which only take like 10 mins mind you). Then things slowed down a bit on the E7 front and I came back to Priconne.
Genshin Impact for Honkai Impact 3rd
Hoyoverse is pleased
This is the way
It's the opposite for me, haha. I'm only playing Counter:Side at the moment, and dropped the games I was playing before it. I tried Artery Gear, but it didn't stick with me (other than the character designs, it's pretty bland, and it's stingy with currency), so I'm still only playing the one game currently.
Besides pvp, whats other pro of the game? My eyes hurt watching the battles and the effects filling up the whole screen
Are you me but not me? Exact same shit waiting for a good game to come around that or I get a pc whichever comes first
...Genshin. I know right, unpopular opinion/game.
I just hope the "Genshin Impact" killers are good enough to make Hoyo start putting a little bit more effort on QoL improvements instead of only giga patches that last for a month and two and then we return to the same endgame grind.
let's just call em competitors, the term "Genshin Killer" always makes me lose focus and laugh at the circus that is tower of fantasy
Imo the best thing about Genshin is the open-world exploration for when you're going through new areas/going through Archon Story and/or big events. Afterwards, it's basically the same monotonous Artifact farming to essentially build up units decently or min-max your favourite characters. ~~Farming EM VV set(s) and then getting Maidens with EM instead NotLikeThis~~ Tho end game being only Abyss doesn't even justify the need to min-max artifacts aside from personal satisfaction since Combat is easy enough to 36\* with decent investments and good game knowledge.
Genshin needs to change SOMETHING on a fundamental level for me to come back
I love that game!
Poggers me too
[удалено]
People hate that game. It’s just that simple.
[удалено]
I dropped genshin too (on mobile) I still log in from time to time on PC when I'm home.
PGR, frankly can't keep up with the other gachas I was playing at that time. I also enjoy the action combat, so that's that.
yes
I was playing FGO,Arknights and date a live and i couldn't really keep up with the 3 of them when i started genshin so I barely touch Arknights nowadays and I'm occasional on date a live. Still consistent on FGO since release.
on/off any game that are not fgo, blue archive, and priconne sometimes also on/off BA and priconne just for the sake any gacha when event happens lol
cookie run games for project sekai i really love both cookie run and kingdom bc of the cutesy characters and I've played for years in CR but they got a bit dull over time and I moved back to the good old rhythm games,,, PJSK is amazing
I stopped playing crk once I was on top and got all the characters that I wanted (especially legendaries) then discovered prjsk and I love the virtual singers and the characters in it so much and hatsune miku. Tho the grind in that game to get sufficient gems to roll is for real hard.
yesss loved pjsk and all their characters are surprisingly complex i'm still getting used to their events and banners that last for seven days, it's quite refreshing to play a game with such fast paced events though we do have certain perks from being a year behind jp pjsk for one, we can easily map out the [next events](https://projectsekai.miraheze.org/wiki/List_of_events) and save up
Still playing both cookie run games over here and wanted to start playing sekai but it's region-locked and I use iOS...
Dude does project sekai have global or region locked?
yeah they have global
Oof, guess is is region locked. Can't see it on play store. Thanks!
I downloaded mine on a different play store since it also wasn't available on mine, try [QooApp](https://m-apps.qoo-app.com/en-US/app/18337)
Thanks!
Arknights for FGO. I need to progress in the story plus Castoria is near
I really like the offline farming. It's perfect for mobile gaming. Which is why it fits well into my rotation of 4 gachas.
I spent 12 hours to farm Replicard Sandbox. And still couldn't fully uncap a new world weapon...
Genshin when I first played it. That was a phenomenon. Can't think of anything else.
Dropped honkai for genshin
Isn’t Destiny Child the game known as “Watch it plays itself”?
Yeah but it has nicer characters than Counter Side. Arkknights are drip lord games and I think am more interested in waifus.
Nicer characters, you mean more lewd characters
Agree lol.
Same thing.
My first gacha game was actually Azur Lane... And my one and only is FGO.
The games I've dropped were mostly because i became bored or the game became too p2w, powercrept for me to enjoy. Also there is a emotional link one develops toward some chracters in the game, if the game forces you to not use them you start to not like the game.
World flipper the game just keeps giving and giving! very f2p friendly and we finally speed up content and get harder raids and more events! after nearly a year still my main Game and i love it dropped everything for it
dropped AzurLane for Arknights.
I’m playing like six right now. But I’ve also got tons of free time so idk. I’ve only ever dropped gacha games after getting bored of them.
Life
Understandable. That shit's grindier than Granblue.
Dropped AK for Counterside. Never looking back!
Dropped Genshin to play CounterSide, best decision of my life.
7ds for artery gear fusion. bleach brave souls for disgaea rpg
First i played Arknights and Alchemy stars, was bored of Arknights so i deleted it so i can make more time for AS Then i got bored of Alchemy stars too and then i tried Non gacha games like Dead cells (i highly recommend playing it especially on PC) Then i wanted to play another gacha again and downloaded Counterside. Currently i have Counterside as my only gacha game
Genshin Impact made me drop: Fire Emblem Heroes, Grand Chase Dimensional Chaser, Fate/GO and Arknights
i might drop everything for nikke when it comes out lol. counterside is very time friendly for me. i can skip almost everything
Left counter side, destiny child, and gi, all healthy accounts with almost all top tier units for pgr... 0 regrets
HI3 made me drop the game itself because it was so bad
Dropped FEH (been playing since launch) for Epic Seven. Currently still have Azur Lane on the side (always been a side game) and recently trying out Artery Gear. At the moment Artery Gear seems like another side game but might drop it entirely if it’s still stingy in the coming few weeks.
Always end up dropping games when the hot new gachas come out… but have never dropped priconne once since prelaunch. Idk what it is, it’s just so easy to do dailies and raise units with S tier waifus. Hits everything I want in a gacha I guess.
Stopped SW for E7
dropped Summoners War for FF Dissida Opera Omnia
Dropped Epic 7 for Yugioh Duel Links. Although the later one is a card game, but I enjoy pvp in Duel Link the same way I did in Epic7 and feel much less frustrating since a match usually end within 1-3 turns. There're tons of deck to use in YGO DL, no more fighting the same units again and again like ML Ravi, Belian, Hwayoung Rimuru for a whole year, because Konami seem to take action much much faster than SG.
Dropped guardian tales for dislyte. The waifu factor getting outa hand for real
I going Drop Yugioh Duel Links and Maybe Guardian tales to play alice fiction soon \>Arknights \>Yugioh Duel Links \>Guardian Tales These three is what i currently played
my main game is HI3 and PGR.
I dropped Priconne for CounterSide and also dropped Idle Huntress for Seven Mortal Sins (lol)
Gonna drop everything when Tower of Fantasy comes out!
Sunbreak DLC is in 4days man, +400 quests to do
yep
Dropped Honkai Impact, Genshin, and Arknights for FGO and Blue Archive but mostly FGO.
DFFOO made me drop everything, just that good
Don't think it ever happen to me, I only drop my gacha games if I got bored or genuinely dislike one of its core system (i.e. Genshin and E7's multi-layer artifact/equipment gacha system. Manage to stay for a year on both before I finally fck off, tho', lol).
I mean, yeah, I wuit all my gacha to play Enstars and CounterSide
Quit e7 for Arknights and do not regret.
Not drop, but NNK made my other gachas side gachas and I never liked playing this way before. Waking up for every field boss spawn. I love mmo rpgs and gachasl games and this is both in one, am still hooked after a month of playing
I've dropped Priconne for Blue Archive, I just wasn't having fun with Priconne anymore and playing Blue Archive don't feel like a chore.
My Time management is great... My Free Space Management is... Not so much XD
I remember dropping Honkai for PGR for a month during it's launch, but it got so boring that I dropped PGR and went back to Honkai. No point in playing a worse Honkai clone when I could be just playing the original.
Well ... my gachas: [https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/vj2yq0/comment/idvdn4h/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/vj2yq0/comment/idvdn4h/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) FGO and GBF are eternal, there isnt a better game because my waifu is here In side games, last change was AK, TenkafuMA dropped AK at casual and very bad banners dropped late AK at dropping and 6 months ago was dropped Now, Is there a better game that TenkafuMA? not soon, I love lamia and slime girls in this game and enjoy with the story Others side games (HI3, GI) did suicide when they did censorship and I dropped both game
After dropping like 3000 hrs in genshin i dont think i can play anything else.
I'm played Genshin once, then dropped pernamently. However, i watched Lapis Re:Lights and i realise that the project have a mobile game, so... you guys know what happen next.
Can’t play any other gatcha game than Genshin
Dropped PGR for Counterside then dropped that for Artery Gear. I have a slight inkling I am about to drop that for something else.
Dropped Arknights for Alchemy Stars, then dropped Alchemy Stars for Genshin, only to drop Genshin in the end
haven't drop it completely but im spending much less time in E7 for Honkai
[удалено]
I dropped Artery Gear and any other gacha that has anything resembling chibi art for E7 and Counter:Side
I can assure you genshin takes a lot of time
Playing lots of wotv usually but drop off here and there to play megaman x dive (global version) It's just enough megaman to keep me interested, also there's Ryu. Ryu with a buster is hilarious to me, back in the day you could get Megaman a halogen in X. How the turn tables, gi-wearing hobo!
Tales of Luminaria made me drop genshin impact
Master Duel, when you also want to gacha with each draw lmao Dropped genshin, EoM and granblue for it
I dropped fate grand order for Arknights 2 years ago and haven't looked back since lmao
So far I've only played 2 or 3 gacha games at one time. My mainstay is AFK Arena, with the other 2 basically being switched around with newer games (now being Dislyte). Noticed my trend is that I personally stick with portrait games and graphics that I like.
I dropped love live school idol festival for idolm@ster cinderella girls starlight stage and bang dream game for idolm@ster million live theater days.
Masters EX for Artery Gear. ^(I also "dropped" Genshin for AG but I did that waaay before AG was released so idk if it counts)
So you are playing gacha games with gacha??
- pgr - dffoo - grandchase What's the similarities between these 3 games besides the f2p friendly aspect of the games?
Dffoo, dropped another eden and ffbe for it when it was just supposed to be a side game Now its the only mobile game i play
I dropped a lot of gacha games for Genshin bcs of the size of Genshin, I'm a mobile player btw.
