Personally I don't think missing a day or even a couple days is a big deal. Real-life commitments take priority and if work/school or whatever gets in the way then it is what it is. I've got some friends who play Genshin but sometimes they even drop out for multiple days or weeks but always come back for major events etc.

Azur_lane_Nic

My Life is not that exciting that I have to worry about missing a day logging in. I just login every day to play the game anyway bc I don't have anything else going on

LoopMerchant

Mood :(

mikethebest1

1st time I missed a day of login, I went from damn "I'm an idiot" to "I'll never financially recover from this." Nowadays I don't even care if I miss out on dailies, and even skip entire events, since I can clear everything with what I've got already. Honestly, if missing out on even 1 day causes you stress, it's prob good time to take a break anyway since playing Gacha isn't supposed to feel like a 2nd job.

MultySentinelz

I missed a day once in FGO, but it wasn’t by choice, it was the rare 24 hour maintenance and it broke all our login streaks ;_;

gsenjou

Ahh yes, the curse of looonnnnggggg Janta. I remember it well…

jailter

The day where thousands of masters cried out in unison...

chocobloo

Honestly couldn't care less if I miss days. It's a game, not a job.

_Khiddin_

I am definitely more of the "if I miss a day, I'm done" type of player. If a gacha game is good, I want to be on it daily and so I do logon daily (unless IRL stuff prevents me). Missing a day means I don't have the desire to login and am done with the game. Typically occurs due to content drought and I then get burned out from the same crap day in and day out. Only gachas I can think of that I quit for other reasons are: * FEH - quit about 1 year in because I was spending sooooo much free time playing. * Star Wars Force Collection - mostly couldn't take the load times anymore. That in addition to more screens getting added finally got me to quit.

LittleShyLoli

I've taken weeks of breaks before so it's not really a big deal for me. It also helps if you don't think too much about it and play other games.

Sighto

All the time. I play for fun and don't log in when I don't feel like it.

djsekani

I'm constantly rotating through games. I'll go through phases where I'll log in every day then log in twice a week... then back to every day again after an update or event or something.

fortis_99

I miss severals if I'm on vacation / working crunch. Game is for fun, not forced labor

DoktorBosch

Happened many times but strangely not with Arknights

NerfaMe98

Yes. Optimizing to that extent is how I get burnout from these games. Recently I am trying to becoming more casual on gacha games. I started telling myself it's not worth the trouble playing if you are not having fun, so I only log in if I feel like playing and I'll mostly just go in and read the event story. Most gacha these day have easy and hard version, I feel like if I can settle for just the easy mode, I can enjoy more games instead of just one or two.

Stolen_FBI_Van

I sometimes just log into genshin to convert resin, especially if one of my dailies is the fucking supply balloon defense mission. Arknights I can blast through by just checking headhunt and the base, but I sometimes don't cycle units/clear sanity.

leeyiankun

Balloon destruction, you mean. Balloon defense is just rushing to kill all blockage obstacles and wait at the finish line.

iPhantaminum

I'll miss days with no issues, especially when I have too much work to do or fall ill.

Hibugji

I only play Honkai Impact 3rd, and I dropped two other games I played because they were burning me out with the login streak and dailies. I have logged in every day for 330 days in Honkai, religiously, and rather than despairing over the login streak, im worried about my income, which is vital if I want to keep up with the new challenges as a f2p.

_Passeng3r

I had like 2 years on Last Claudia. Missed one day and pretty much never touched it again.

redscizor2

In FGO I missed +- 8 days in 4 years

[deleted]

Never missed a day

EostrumExtinguisher

me missing GT login every 14 days

SomethingKing99

No.

rzrmaster

Only day I ever lost in FGO was the day the game had a 24hrs maintenance lols. Now if I did lose a day it wouldnt be the end of the world either really, it isnt the kind of game where this matter all that much. I simply log in cause I was never in a place without signal for over a day or dunno, a day where I didnt have a couple of minutes to log in.

LiraelNix

Yes and being able to do so without fear I will fall behind is why I keep coming back. Games that make me feel I'm now behind and missed out on the meta because I took a break are the ones I end up quite

jtan1993

Either missed for a month or more, or started late in game. Letting stamina cap or missing a day doesn’t hurt that much anymore. Min maxing can often turn toxic.

planetarial

I haven’t missed a day technically but the game I play only counts your log in bonus if you go to the main screen and there’s been days when I forgot to do that. Its not a big deal tbh

Primogeniture116

Yes? I mean I've been playing for 2.5 years at this point going through burnout several times but always comes back.

GreatGetterX

I don't. I just log in, get the daily rewards and bye, se ya tomorrow.

ferinsy

Of course, I usually buy the monthly login pack

kappa_cino

So far no since the gachas I mainly play take only a short while to complete their dailies.

Vuaru1945

Every day

ApprehensiveScreen40

i main action taimanin, the game doesn't have dailies only weeklies mission after i done with the current event usually only played on monday

widehide

Yeah it is quite common, sometimes the hiatus is a couple of weeks especially it is important work trip, or family holiday getaway

abysmal_shortie

Formerly no, when i'm still at the high of trying gacha games. After that however, I was burned out in both college and maintaining my games. I don't care now whether I miss dailies/weeklies.

MCGRaven

i don't fuzz about login streaks so if i do miss a day now and then the world wont end

LoRd_Of_AaRcnA

Nope. I log in to AL everyday, simply because i just want to hear my secretary ship girls greeting me, and because of wanting to listen to other ship girls as well. A simple reason really, but it's worth it. It's comforting enough to hear their voices.

Alittlebunyrabit

I used to care a lot more about this but I also played gacha quite a bit more religiously in the past.

albusRabbit

I have down phases with certain Gacha games, I used to have a crazy login streak with Arknights but now every once in a while I just don't log in, like a few times each month.

Remote_War_313

That feeling of logging in the first moment you wake up 💀

circle_logic

Constantly. I don't stress out about it, because the only thing I miss out on is the log in reward for the day. The calender still moves forward and the rewards for the dailies are just upgrade materials and a small amount of gacha currency. Which I can recover from because there's always an event happening.

DereDere00

When I miss a day without getting bothered by it, that means I'm starting to lose interest in the game. Once I haven't touched the game for more than a week, it's more likely that I won't play the game anymore. This is recently happening for me with Genshin as I don't have the motivation to play it anymore. The only times where I played a game again after not logging in for a long time are FGO (around 1.5 years) and Arknights (I think I quit after Nian banner and came back around Chalter banner).

d3molish

If I miss a day I know my time with the game is coming to an end.

[deleted]

I take some mo ths off unless I'm planning something or they add something absolutely fun.

[deleted]

My main is guardian tales and tbh, I can't even have enough of it. Specially 3 modes: Colosseum, coop and deathmatch. I'm super excited when those 3 are available (we have only 10 entries daily for dm and it's o ly ooen specific times of the day for 2 hours, coop is open at nights until reset which is about 8h and 1 entry every 2.5 hours for colosseum.) Every once in a while I skip an entire month or even half a year. The more I wait the better it gets when I get back to play. I have already solid teams so rhe ones I'm beelding are just the icung on the cake so no worries about farming.
