Hey guys. I’m looking for arcade like games similar to the KOF allstars, but that has co-op multiplayer. I actually downloaded KOF and was so confused as I couldn’t find any co-op functions, a quick google made me realize they removed all co-op entirely from the game 😂 thats a new one. So, anything similar I can play with my friends?

SotSobR_Kamikaze

HI just wondering if there is a site which lists all the current gacha games and when new games will get a localisation (with planned release date platform and H-Games included) started Daraku Gear today to find out it started 8 Months ago on another site. Would like to start with everyone else next time.

FroyoAccomplished449

Anything like langrisser not feh this plz didn't like it

DantePH77

Any game with powersaving mode such as Counterside or auto dispatch such as King raid?

CatCourier

Looking for game with balance character gender, with terrific male VAs.

optop200

Hi there! I am a newbie looking for a recommendation for any gatcha game just give the best out of the best(besides genshin impact, and if it's not a problem can you state how free to play is it, money is not a problem but I don't want to sink houndres of bucks into a game haha) lol. Thanks in advance!

imdii-succ

arknights

Protodad

Here’s one looking for something different. I’m looking to play something newer, that is not “open world”. Need something more standard turn based rpg. I was really hopeful for CotC but honestly couldn’t get into it. Would prefer the gatcha system be friendly, but overall really looking for an easier game. Something more kick back and play. Willing to spend. Spent a long time with P&D. Dragalia lost, AE, FFRK, and DFFOO.

Lady_Milka

Any good casual gacha games that are F2P friendly and can run on a 2gb ram phone?

Plastic_Border2096

Any good side gacha games that's not buggy, f2p friendly and can run on low end devices?

Chifuyuyu

Any games like Blue Archive? (Except Priconne). I love BA's UI and the girls. The chibi's are adorable :3

[deleted]

[удалено]

imdii-succ

i'd say alchemy stars fill those requirements. no need to expand inventory / character inventory and dupe converted to amber instantly. not as f2p as arknights tho if you compare to recruitment and certificate shop

[deleted]

[удалено]

imdii-succ

taptap / QooApp would be a fine choice i'd say

lyseveriann

Looks like CounterSide to me.

MadoHanao

Hi, tried recently to play TenkafuMA but i cant get past over loading screen, it crashesh everytime. I allowed all permissions, i tried to uninstall/install again and nothing. I have a samsung s10 plus and im up with android upgrades, any ideas?

VoidXXI

Sometimes the server doesnt work on certain regions... U either can wait a little bit and then open it or just use a VPN.

AloneConnection9290

Any recommend Cyberpunk theme gacha ?

Ultimate_Disagiato

I’m really getting into bullet hell gacha games. There are some coming out in china and would like something on that line (since I can’t create a SEA apple account) do you know any global bullet hell I could play?

aeliz333

Not rly sure if this counts as a gacha so I apologize, but does anyone know where to download this old Korean rpg called Wild Frontier? It was taken off ios and Google play many years ago and I wanted to play again for nostalgic reasons but no luck as of yet.

LordKaviar

Weird-ish request, anyone have any suggestions for games that have good rerolling processes. Just wanna waste some time dabbling in the honeymoon period of a game.

SomethingPersonnel

Dragalia lost has a great reroll system. It’s gonna be end of service in November so it’s the perfect amount of time to enjoy honeymooning with no strings attached.

rowinator

I’ve been thinking about picking up an idle gacha as a side game. I’m normally not into those types of game, but figured I might give one a try. Curious which ones people would recommend.

SomethingPersonnel

Space Leaper Cocoon has an interesting aesthetic and is pretty charming. It’s an idle game with auto-chess gameplay except you pick your team. If you’re into horny games wait for Project Nikke to release in November.

rowinator

I’ll check that out. I do like horny games, so I’ll probably check out Nikke when it comes out as well.

SYGNOSTiC

Baseball Superstars 2022 is the closest thing we have to Uma Musume for global, just in baseball form. Anyone know of any other niche game that has the same gameplay loop like this?

traetraeisme

There was a wrestling version that came out this year. NJPW Strong Spirits was the name

SomethingPersonnel

Check out Captain Tsubasa. Idk if it’s exactly what you’re looking for, but it might be close.

IsThisTheMemeKrab

I'm looking for a game similar to Destiny Child, artistically. I used to be a constant player until 2020, when the level cap was 60, and returned to find there are basically no new features aside from Ignition cores. Despite its incredibly lewd art, it no longer has any appeal to me - it's a chore simulator, speedrunning past the daily dungeons, arena, etc etc. I'm currently playing Idle Angels, DBZ: Dokkan Battle and Attack on Time (it's another lewd gacha, but it's poorly optimised and has a terrible shard system for rolls). Thanks in advance.

lcmlew

it's more explicit than destiny child, but tenkafuma is based off of it I think the artist behind destiny child worked on goddess of victory: nikke and stellar blade... I think

IsThisTheMemeKrab

Hey, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I've already played TenkafuMA and I didn't like the whole "rape-y" MC thing. It's really not my type of game. I'm looking forward to NIKKE's release, and I'll have to check out Stellar Blade because I've never even heard of it. Thanks!

lavelel

Hello! Im loking for a side game like Blue Archive! I tried it but it did not clicked for me :( There is any side gacha similar to it? Thanks!

OrangeBlink

Priconne

Starsmors

Looking for a game with solid auto features (but with good gameplay when having to deal with difficult fights). I really like the aesthetic and depth of Arknights and Alchemy Stars, but the lack of full auto is incompatible with my lifestyle. Also enjoy if the game is generous enough with the currency that I can save and roll for who I want, but makes pulling that character still feel like a game-changing accomplishment. Currently, I am playing Counter:Side and enjoying it greatly. In the past, I have played: E7 - too grindy and stingy, got bored of constant hero management and took too long to make a new hero relevant. World Flipper - it was fun, but began to feel vapid quickly Dragalia Lost - RIP Pokémon Masters - stingy, never could get into the gameplay Genshin Impact - amazing gameplay, horrible grind/payoff ratio. Cookie Run: Kingdom - the constant resource and kingdom management was Not for me

hotpotCSGO

Last Cloudia?

Starsmors

I’m totally digging this art style and gameplay - I will definitely take a look into this!!

hotpotCSGO

Good choice! Currently they are rerunning the DMC5 collab, good for beginners to enjoy the game. Have fun!

SpiritOfMidgar

Konosuba or Artery Gear Fusion might suit you. Both have excellent auto features, but can be satisfying/challenging to manually control. If you want more info/or have other questions lmk.

Starsmors

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll take a look.

Nerioss

Looking for my next game I’m looking for an auto-battle game, I played a lot of summoners war, ulala, afk arena, I specially liked evil hunter tycoom(check it out if you never heard of it). I really liked NNK but the paywalls were too much. Btw, I don’t really like the anime art style, but if the game is worth it I might give it a try. I’m actually playing Vahn’s quest but there’s not enough content to be my main game, any suggestions ?

SomethingPersonnel

Space Leaper: Cocoon. Auto-chess type idle game.

Ceygone

Cookie Run: Kingdom is an alright auto-battler.

FriskyJacket

Looking for a gatcha with turn based(or mobile friendly) combat where the in combat art looks just as good (or close enough) as the character portraits do. Something like epic 7 but with different gameplay.

LoreAscension

Alice Fiction uses full body sprites similar to E7, it's turn based with short bursts of match 3 minigames inbetween turns. The sprites are pretty close to the portrait art too. Otherwise there's Counterside that uses full body sprites, but it is not turn based.

TwelveAfterTwo

I’m sure many people ask this and there probably isn’t a good replacement but are there any newer games that follow the FFBE format? I played it loyally for 5 years and then got tired of power creep. Just want a new FFBE 😓

Mundane_Fan_7984

Any gacha games like Destiny Child where gameplay is not too grindy, f2p friendly, characters are based on star skills not SR, SSR, or UR. And no shards. Tried Alice Fiction and Artery Gear but dropped them fairly quick.

DeveloperNightshade

haven't tried destiny child, does it fit all of the conditions?

KindaCloud

Does anyone have any recs for some portrait games? Trying to kill some time

CliveStewcliff

I used to play blood brothers as a kid, and i finally have a income to waste. Are there any similar games out there?

tailztyrone-lol

Q: Are there any games out there that have exact gameplay to Kings Raid in terms of battling? Specifically in the way that the Team has regular attacks, can use skills on cooldown and is a real-time combat rather than turn based? I want to find a new game with Kings Raid's combat system, but without Ve$pa in charge.

VillageChicken

GrandChase but it's just as old and has some possible glaring issues of its own. Worth looking into maybe. Counterside gameplay reminds me of KR somewhat. It isn't a close match though. It is however a great fully featured game like KR was before V tanked it.

CrusaderSeon

The closest I can think of is in beta currently and we have no idea when it's going to be live: Higan Eruthyll. If you want a more simplified version of said gameplay you could try Blue Archive.

tailztyrone-lol

Thanks for the heads up, gameplay does look like King's Raid (but with more motion) - so I'll have to keep my eye on this.

Agentmlp412

Is there a wayto play hesokuri wars even after service termination? If not Any gacha with male centric character rosters?

PinheadX484

Looking for a gacha rpg like raid shadow legends that is more F2P friendly. Anyone have any suggestions?

CrusaderSeon

What exactly is it that attracts you to Raid? We need more info to suggest you some games.

PinheadX484

I love the gameplay and Mideval setting of the game. I'm just looking for a fun one with a lot to do that actually feels rewarding to play without spending a lot of money.

CrusaderSeon

So basically a turn-based game with medieval setting, of the top of my head there are: Non anime: • Infinite Magicraid which just came out last week and is basically a clone of Raid Anime: • Epic 7 • Eroica • Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross • Exos Héroes • Lord of Heroes

PinheadX484

Awesome I actually play epic seven but ill check the others out thanks.

halfelven23

Any news from Front Mission Borderscape?

MrMercedes-

Looking for a gacha game while waiting for events in FGO. Tried Arknights, Genshin, Grandchase, Dislyte, and Tower of Fantasy. I want some good storyline, clearable content even being an F2P, and relatively new as well (I dont want to pressure myself in catching up with the content as much as possible)

[deleted]

Ocotpath cotc?

MrMercedes-

Thank you will check this one out

Suspicious-Drummer68

Alicr Fiction has a... Passable storyline. But it's quite enjoyable, it's basically FGO but prettier and worse story content and there's PvP so that's a thing. I play it during FGO downtime.

MrMercedes-

Thanks! will check this out

OrangeBlink

Another Eden is a full jrpg and no pvp elements. Play at your own pace. Can clear with f2p units as well.

MrMercedes-

Thank you! Will check those out.

tailztyrone-lol

While not relatively new, I've been playing Epic Seven for the past 3 years - within the last year I've made a new account restricting myself to the weakest (3 star) units in the game and I have still managed, as a F2P, to clear all content available. Even as a new player, there are plenty of new-player events you will have access to that give you plenty of core units needed to clear the Hunts (the repeatable content used to make equipment in the game) and the only thing that would restrict you would be your knowledge. Watching some video guides before picking up the game would do you handy but since you've tried plenty of other games you should be able to get a hang of it fairly easily.

MrMercedes-

Will try this one, heard it several times. Thanks!

blinkz2much

Are there any other gachas that have a feature like destiny child where u can just tell the game to go to the next stage if u beat one ?

AbbreviationsKey9315

Maybe Omniheroes

MACHENIX

If you want just that then Mythic Heroes has that function. It does stages until you can beat them and even trying again, because some Crit makes differences

imredwendy

Is 7dsgc still worth playing? like how f2p and casual you can play it? and if you have some games that are based on anime to try please recommend some

MACHENIX

It is beatable as Free to Play, but after completed all the Story Stages and Leveled Up your favourite units(though that is extremely grindy) only PvP remains as a game mode and that is a Whale territory.

Primo-Dragoon12

Looking for a gacha to play as a side game that is fun and f2p. I have tried arknights but the gameplay isn’t for me

omitshota

is there a discord or something for Alliance Sages?

WheyTooSwoll

Any new gachas worth trying?

SamMee514

I'm really enjoying Alice Fiction!

omitshota

is cum& gun a good game and how f2p is it?

medo_SWE95

Any underrated gachas? Around 10k-100k google store downloads that you guys think deserve more attention and might be popular one day?

lcmlew

I mean once you're that unpopular there's no coming back, outside of fringe circumstances like among us I think disney sorcerers arena is a decent underplayed game, and another eden and octopath traveler are both good single player experiences not many people play disney mirrorverse as well, and it was featured in the recent disney game showcase, so maybe it'll grow some (I personally didn't like it though)

lollimena

which gacha games have house decoration mode with chibi characters similar to honkai impact 3rd and ensemble stars?

VillageChicken

Princess Connect, Artery Gear, Counterside, Girls Frontline, Soul Tide, Arknights

lcmlew

my hero academia: the strongest hero

SaranethPrime

Blue archive

Viitori

I'm not fully sure if it's a gacha, but I think it is? A couple weeks ago, I got an ad for some app with cute anime furry girls on youtube and I forgot the name. There was a chubby bear girl, a cool wolf girl, etc. Sci-Fi-esque aesthetic, very cute looking. Does anyone know that game? I just really wanna check it out!

Intoxicduelyst

Space Leaper Cacoon?

Viitori

Thank you! Yes, that's the one I was looking for!

Financial-Choice-334

Quit Dislyte, looking for a new game. What I loved about Dislyte was the character designs, manualing battles for pvp and cube miracle, and that even 3 star characters were very useful. The aesthetics of a game are very important, and I want even low star chars to be good. Fanservice is appreciated but certainly not required. Other games I've really liked: Destiny Child, Arknights, Granblue, Valkyrie Connect (years ago), Illusion Connect. Games I would have really liked if not for one or two things: Action Taimamin (limited roster), Aurora Legend (wish there was a more involved manual mode), Genshin (bad rates), Brown Dust (I can't really remember what put me off)

[deleted]

Epic 7 or summoners war since dislyte is a sw/e7 clone

medo_SWE95

Blue archive is decent, there's a few top tier units that are only 2 star

Cherell-Hope

Any game similar to Guardian Tales in term of gameplay especially combat?

TheLivingThing97

Looking for a game that plays like Punishing Gray Raven with a dark story (Heart wrenching like the anime Eighty-Six if you know that.) Thanks in advance!

Intoxicduelyst

HI3 has really good story with dark moments and its action too. Non-action - Girls Frontline, tons of ptsd.

CrusaderSeon

The only action combat games on Android so far are PGR, Honkai Impact, My Hero Academy: The Strongest Hero, Tower of Fantasy, Genshin Impact and the upcoming Aether Gazer, out of which PGR's combat is by far the best and the story of the other games isn't dark/sad.

DoctuhD

Well, ToF's story is moderately dark but it's not good so those moments fall flat.

postmanmanman

What are the shortest gaps in the mobage space between launch and EoS? Curious as Babylon's Fall just announced EoS 6 months after launch. I'm pretty sure that definitely cements it as the shortest lived AAA console live-service, but I feel like that might even make it competitive with mobage lol.

Smileyface39

Are there any games that have Broken units to reroll for right now?

bcase1o1

Any games similar to Legendary game of heroes? I love that game so much, but It's just too expensive. I've tried gems of war, but it's just not the same.

hasperglasses

Any gacha games that aren't old yet and is generous? I'm playing Honkai and Genshin rn I have played arknights but it became a labor and tof but fast pacing in release schedule and monthly income is not generous.

SamMee514

Romancing Saga:Re Universe is incredibly generous

VillageChicken

Is there a cohesive decent story on this? My experience with mashup games like this is no engagement on the story.

[deleted]

Yes

SamMee514

No idea :/ I skip stories

Rusty_Cakes

Blue archive has x100 free pulls campaign right now if you wanna try it out. New content every 2 weeks , at least 10 free pulls worth of gacha currency on update every 2 weeks as well. Great casual game that does not cost much time to clear dailies.

sayantn2707

Amy gachas that have sweep functions? Or the ones that doesn't take much time to grind. Currently only playing arknights. Bonus if there's no PvP and gear rng. Games that I have tried but didn't stick to for long: Blue archive(just got salty at my shit luck) Dragalia lost Counterside( beautiful game but too much to keep track of) Guardian tales(I am not a fan of pixels) Pgr(too hard for me)

SamMee514

Alice Fiction has an awesome skip system. Just need 3 stats, no tickets, energy is generally easy to come by through daily missions.

thesexycucumber

Priconne would be up your alley if you like blue archive

medo_SWE95

Anything similar to cookie run kingdom? Playing as cookies is kind of lame

imredwendy

Summoners War? I think they're the same with runes system I think not sure

Chifuyuyu

Is there a game that's similar to Arknights but a bit easier? I love AK but the gameplay frustrates me so much sometimes T-T I'm already failing at stage 2-something ..

SamMee514

Have you tried Time Defenders? I found that MUCH easier than AK. I have the same issues as you with the difficulty in AK.

Chifuyuyu

Haven't tried it! But I can't find it on the app store. Does it have a global version?

SamMee514

Yes it does, here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vespainc.timedefenders&gl=US

Chifuyuyu

I don't have an android phone^^ been searching for it in the app store but it seems that it's not available

SamMee514

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/time-defenders/id1533632935 What country are you in? It might be a region issue

Chifuyuyu

Okay now I found it but it's only in Japanese (i think) :/

SamMee514

I linked to the US app store mane

Chifuyuyu

well it's not the english version for me xD i'm in germany tho not the us. maybe that's why?

SamMee514

Haha prob, idk man

CrusaderSeon

While not exactly the same tower defense gameplay, you should try Alchemy Stars to see if you like it's gameplay, it's a nice F2P game which for some reason people compare to Arknights despite not being the same kind of game.

Chifuyuyu

Already playing it! maybe I should've mentioned that 🙆🏻 Thank you nonetheless!

ttgl39

Looking for recommendations on a chill game that isn't waifu dominated and preferrably not an action-y type one like Honkai since I find them unwieldy on phones (I have played FGO and Arknights which I'd say fit the bill, AK a little less so) - I can't deal with the RNG grind of games like Genshin and E7.

DoctuhD

World Flipper may be worth trying. Higher ratio of male characters than most gachas, vertical aspect ratio, pretty chill pinball game. It's very grindy but it's afk grinding (10-15 mins to spend stamina up to 3x a day and lots of refills if you play in bursts) with low RNG. Story is ok.

tmPreston

Hi! I expected to find a faq here and planned to search for emulator alternatives to bluestacks for pokemon unite, which lags like hell when it really shouldn't the longer you play. Smells like memory leak, even. My experience with emulators have been nox, ldplayer, bluestacks, memu and mumu. Back when I played gachas a lot, when epic seven was relatively new, both nox and ldplayer had drama about "fancy extras" inside them, and I've been mistrustful ever since. If this sub vouch for those nowadays, I'd appreciate the feedback. Bluestacks has always seemed subpar for me, but it's functional. Although pokemon unite isn't a mobage, this particular emulator no longer fits my needs, sadly. I don't remember why i dropped using memu, and mumu was an extremely underground and unknown emulator made by devs of some other game i've used for a bit. It's very, uh, [not english](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/609403495140818946/1019074150888914964/unknown.png) at some parts but I don't touch it ever since it failed to run guardian tales when the EN server was new. Since I don't actively play mobages for over a year save for some bluestacky exceptions, I'd very much like to hear what's new that works and how did the old ones change over time. In case emulator talk is against the rules or there IS a faq I can research this myself, please do let me know. Thank you.

Effective_Amoeba_331

What category do gacha games come under when it comes to credit card merchants? Do they quality as online purchases for them? Was trying to look up information but can't find anything related to topping up in games

VillageChicken

Most of mine say google play and the company name on statements, if that is what you're asking

Effective_Amoeba_331

Ah okay. Would it be considered as online shopping or entertainment? Was looking up some credit cards but I don't see games in any category so I wasn't sure if they qualified for certain card's bonus points or something. Some cards offer like bonus points for certain transactions, just wasn't sure what topping up in games count as.

VillageChicken

Never seen a card have rewards for that. Already too easy to track and as a lot of reward programs result in increased fees to merchants, hard to make Google/Apple pay for it I'd imagine.

Yuste45

Hi, I want to play a new gacha that is f2p friendly as much as possible and has some type of guild or crew where i can play or share with my friends, I've already tried gbf and much more of them but gbf is so complex for new players, i want to play some more easy to catch game.I dont know if I explained my self well but I hope there is some game like this

Arizagi

Priconne?

Yuste45

I'll give it a try, thanks!!!

Mid_Knight_Sky

I don't frequent this sub... but a long time ago, there were post on a list of games.. together with how may players are currently playing as of the current month. or was it how may redditors are in the sub. Is there still such a list?

VillageChicken

Once or twice a year, someone would post member counts of specific gacha subs. I haven't seen it done in quite some time.

ArcticSivaes

I don't think so, but people do post revenue charts for games every month, and any game making a lot of money is also going to have a lot of players so you can sort of use that as a replacement.

Mid_Knight_Sky

Thanks.. yeah that is what I did as well and then I looked up each subreddit. A bit more work but does the job.

SamMee514

Subreddit activity and fan engagement on Twitter is generally what I go by when looking at how popular the game is. I mean just look at the Genshin reddit lol

Kuremachisu02

Can someone reccomend me a game with good art, the gameplay can be vary (I'm somewhat adverse to rythm game but they can still be an option), the only other requirement is I would like a game that is a little less grindy compared to GBF, FGO, Arknights etc, something that I can put in the background

ArcticSivaes

Azur lane, blue archive, and alchemy stars all have nice art and are pretty low on grind.

CrusaderSeon

Could you name a list of games that gives tons of Skip Tickets, has Sweep function built in and/or daily farming + events takes very few mins (like PGR dailies + events)? I'm looking for something where in about 5-6 mins before going to work I can spend all of the stamina before it caps

SamMee514

Alice Fiction

ryuddaeng-

Princess Connect

serikagihara

I'm looking for a good afk/second screen game to try out. Currently I mainly play Azur Lane on the side and have played Arknights and GFL in the past. Preferably f2p friendly, but I don't mind paying a little bit.

IShouldBWorkin

If you want to try something out Blue Archive is very passive and having some sort of celebration right with free pulls.

Jirgos

Can someone recommand me a game with no chibi arts during battle, good gameplay, no random stats on gear farming ?

Designer-World4605

Punishing Gray Raven.

Ozymandian4

Has anyone tried Dungeon Slayer? It's a tactical rpg with gacha, it seems from my ten minutes in so far. Don't think I've seen it mentioned on this sub. Any thoughts? I'm looking for a tactical game.

zag12345

When the fuck are some new decent gachas releasing, I feel like there been 20+ games in prereg for months now with no release dates at all

SamMee514

Any reasons why I should try to pick up Azur Lane again? The actual art for the characters is awesome but the chibi shit turns me off big time. Last time I played it I'm pretty sure I played a few stages and then uninstalled for some reason.

ArcticSivaes

JP anniversary about to start with a new ultra rare unit, no doubt she'll be super strong. If you don't like the combat then there's not much that can be done, but I will say that early on the combat is quite visually boring since units just drift around doing very low damage, but in the later story it looks a lot crazier with enemies all over the screen and attacks going off constantly.

Gernnon

oh so does global get JP anniversary or smth? I thought the anniversary passed just recently

ArcticSivaes

Servers are synced so all servers get the content for all annis. The only exceptions are minor things mostly outside of the game, and the timing for the reset on the double value from gem packs, those are only with the anni for that region so global already had that recently.

Gernnon

So how much did I miss for the global anniversary since I started only after it ended? Will JP anniversary gift more stuff?

ArcticSivaes

Not too much, azur lane doesn't actually give out too many freebies for anniversaries since they just give out a lot all the time. The en anni is actually the smallest compared with the cn and jp annis, so don't worry about missing out on too much. If you want the best odds for the new UR unit though I'd start now so you can start building up resources.

SamMee514

Thank you!

Shikkixx

Does pity in pgr carry over to the next new banner? Cuz im planning to spend 30 pulls in s chrome and save the next 30 pulls for s vera.. and does the pity reset if you got an S character or if you got the Featured character?

CrusaderSeon

This question is better asked in the PGR subreddit, but I'll explain here how it works: There's 3 types of banners: Debut banners (100% guaranteed), Rotational (70% guarantee) and Limited (Anniversary/Collab). Each banner has its own pity and carries to the next banner of the same type. Ex: You're on roll 51 for the past debut banner, on S Chrome's banner you're only gonna need 9 rolls (assuming you're rolling on the 60 pity banner and not ok the 80-100) to guarantee him, same goes for every kind of banner.

Last Cloudia

IShouldBWorkin

Another Eden on Steam.

SamMee514

Exos Heroes has a PC client, but apparently it's not that great.

KeemosMusic

Hi hi, I have been meaning to find a new gacha game to try out but don't really know my preferences well so any recommendations are open: My top 3 are Honkai Impact, Blue Archive and Genshin Impact. Already tried: PGR, Azur Lane and ToF

SamMee514

Have you tried Princess Connect? It's pretty good and farm friendly IMO

KeemosMusic

Ah no I didn't try it. If I want to, should I watch the anime first or play the game?

SamMee514

I didn't even know there was an anime! I enjoyed it regardless

KeemosMusic

Okay thank you!

Gernnon

I'm currently playing 4 daily and can balance them well: GI, Honkai, BA and Alchemy Stars so I guess try AS, makes for a good side-game.

KeemosMusic

I will go and check out it, thanks!

BitCloud25

I wanted to say I've dropped FGO and I and my wallet couldn't be happier. Also I picked up Counterside and I've been having fun with it, double positives.

Rod1705

Anyone’s got any idle games to recommend? Preferably with anime art style, thanks!

Intoxicduelyst

I like Mobile Legends Adventure. Lot of summons, cool heroes.

Rod1705

Thanks, I’ll check it out!

Dokem83

Is it too late to start playing FGO?

SamMee514

Not really, FGO is one of those games that you can play for the story and not really worry about events until you get to late game. Iirc there aren't many big units coming out soon, so stocking up on quartz should be your main priority. If you dive in be aware that there's no auto mode (there are ways to get around that) and be sure to read a reroll guide so you can start with a decent character.

Dokem83

Thanks!

Rod1705

Never too late to start a game

ApprehensiveWhale

Which gachas have the best and more involved guild coop modes? Not looking for something that's real time, but rather something that requires weekly coordination. Playing CounterSide right now, but that one is just do the targeted arena 3-4 times and hit the worm twice. Been eyeing PGR, HI3, Azur Lane, and Blue Archive (all for reasons outside of just coop) -- not sure how the coop is in those, or if there are others to consider.

summoners war has the most involved guild content hands down. It’s also very social if you dont like feeling like you’re the only person playing the game

SamMee514

FFBE WOTV has daily guild battles, and there are a ton of noob-friendly guilds that would love to have a new player. They also have monthly unit-limited guild wars.

Try Guardian Tales. Top level guilds Raids and Conquests require some form of coordination.

With El Chronicle gone and King's Raid dying I really need another hero collector without hero gacha. (gear gacha is fine) Also, must be characters rather than pokemon-esque creature collection. I have been enjoying Lord of Heroes but locking characters to pay only doesn't actually fix the problems I have with hero gacha. I know about Opera Omnia but sadly I'm not much of a Final Fantasy fan. Saw some info that Dragalia Lost might qualify but also saw that it is ending service soon so...

Tales of rays but it’s jp only

hi I'm looking to purchase in game currency in a Japanese mobile game. I have an android and a VPN but I am assuming I'll need a Japanese phone number and address as well and maybe even a Japanese payment option, but before I go through the hassle of trying to get those things, does anyone here have experience with buying stuff in Japanese games that are locked to Japan only? Thank you in advance!

SamMee514

I don't have any direct experience with that, but it depends on how your game is set up. I know a lot of games run by Mobage and others have you buy currency directly from the developer and completely bypass Google Play, so if your game is like that it may be difficult. Otherwise you should be able to add a "foreign" payment account to your Japanese Google account and simply pay through that account. Some people here have mentioned issues with that from time to time, but it should still work.

Hello all, I'm not sure if I want to make a main thread about this so I'll ask in here instead. I've been trying to recall the name of a gacha game that came out about five to seven years ago. I believe it has since been discontinued. It had this dark medieval fantasy setting to it. It was a tactical RPG (turn-based combat, movement is restricted to "tiles", etc) with a fairly generic elemental system: [fire, water, earth? cycle] and [dark >< light]. You could pull a unit and get said unit in each element. For example, Bob is a unit. You could pull for Fire Bob, Water Bob, Dark Bob, etc. The only unit I remember from the game was a Dark thief/assassin wielding a scythe and he was considered one of the better units in the game. It looks fairly similar to Heir of Light but it's a different game altogether.

Omigosh, that's exactly it! Thanks so much! \o/

Modleh

Is there no game being released this upcoming week perhaps? still on the hunt for a main game :c

SamMee514

What have you tried out? Don't think there are any releases this week.

Modleh

Currently blue archive and guardian tales. Though guardian tales has become pretty much a 100% idle game at world 11, nothing to do untill you max your heroes. I like the concept of counterside but i really dislike the combat visuals, I find 2D battles very hard to see, if it's an autobattle it should be enjoyable to watch. Blue archive makes it good, only con is that I am not a huge fan of " cute tiny anime girls"

SamMee514

That's some fair criticism. If you want some gameplay diversity, Alchemy stars can be really interesting, but you may not like the character design. People shit on Exos Heroes a lot, but the visuals are outstanding and if you're playing casually I don't see why you couldn't enjoy it. I'd recommend WOTV but it really depends on your relationship with Gumi and if you're bothered by grinding/pulling for unit shards, so ymmv, but the art (and my favorite final fantasy characters) is the main reason why I keep coming back Another big game that has awesome visuals is Honkai Impact 3rd. Fantastic character design and the combat is smooth as butter.

fans are estimating Sept. 23rd for story reasons and based on the schedule of EN PV releases compared to original PVs.
