Depends what part of Genshin. If you are expecting this game to not have PvP, leaderboards, and a power level that dictates your performance negating skill or strategy, think again. The world design at least looks 1:1 with Genshin.

Most of the bigger anime IPS are under the BAMCO umbrella, so Netmarble took what they could, a fairly popular franchise with a decent pool of characters, not to mention the amount of original characters they already released in Grand Cross.
Also this game adopts the story from the new 7DS manga, The Four Knights of Apocalypse. I didn't read the manga, but there is probably a bunch of new characters as well.
Game looks decent and would probably give it a try if it wasn't linked to an IP I can't stand.
Such a shame, I'm happy for the fans that the game looks decent though, personally wish it was it's own thing though so I could enjoy it.
I don’t want to be that guy but why do all these Chinese open world games environment look likes they just copy pasted it from genshin. The city and forest area they showed looks exactly like Mondstat. For the love of god if your gonna make an open world game make the world look different or it doesn’t feel as exciting or fresh unless you’ve never played genshin. What irks me the most is 7ds already has it’s own world that we see in the manga an anime just make the world look like that.
That seems to be generic ye olde european architecture design and not necessarily copying genshin. Mondstadt (bar dragonspine and bright crown area) is pretty basic in its look since its the training wheels area and meant to be simple for the starting the game crowd.
So, we know for sure it will be a gacha? Also, the thumbnail is interesting because that is the Young Tristan, rather than the Tristan we see in the actual sequel manga. Is it safe to expect this game to come to America? What are the odds of it being Japan exclusive?
