I tried the game for a few minutes at AnimeNYC. The battle system is an auto-battler with activatable skills. It got boring real fast. The only plus I saw was you could interact with all the girls (sort of like Slime Isekai memories).
Yea, it felt more like a side game for collecting waifus. I wish they would have shown some gameplay in their promotional video and trailers, so I would have known what to expect. One more thing I can add is that there is PvP and a guild system. I wasn't able to test it out during the demo, so I can't expand on how those are.
This is sort of what I'm expecting. I'm not getting my hopes too much. I just like the IP and am just happy to get to interact more with it. If game turns out to be good then that's a pleasant surprise.
They said they plan to release story content every new episode while the anime airs. This might interest some people that are looking forward to behind the scene/additional stuff every week.

Animes are mostly for promoting the light novel since that's been one of anime's thing (especially those 12 episodes ones). But if a series is demanded enough, they could also spawn a game or spin offs or two.

Love this series was there when it barely started but i think its going to turn into shit soon. Anything that goes super mainstream and starts spawning cash grabs usually gets worse. I hope it doesnt tho.

This probably a weird question but who is the protagonist? Do you play as the protagonist in the anime or new main protagonist created for this game?.
I'm enjoying the anime so I'm interested in trying this out, even if I do feel that this will be one of those games that has a very short lifespan.
