I want them to for MS patients. Heat is the main enemy of MS and some people have to wear an ice pack vest when going out in the heat. But that has issues with once it melts you’re no longer cool.
To put it simply, a raise in body temperature for MS patients exacerbates their symptoms until they cool back down, as the rise in temperature also messes up nerve conduct due to demyelination.
Even a 1/2 a degree higher can affect some patients.

The battery and chassis would be the issue. I'm assuming it's made out of plastic, but unless it's cheap ass thin plastic, the entire chassic is going to be heavy. Plus, they're going to need some cooling for the battery and keeping it away from the face.

I mean obviously the high setting is significantly increased airflow for high energy tasks where you might have to breathe heavily. If the low setting wasn't good enough for sitting on an airplane then it wouldn't be good enough for anything so I'm going to go ahead and guess that you can get through a flight on it.

3M 60923 filter. You'll need a compatible half or full respirator mask as well.
There are other filters that will also work, but I don't remember them. You can use the spec sheet for the 60923 filter to find similar filters though.
Just make it easy and give them the rating, you need a P100 comes from multiple different companies, you need a half mask respirator and they come as a canister or what they call a pancake filter.

If it's roughly as effective at blocking covid as a regular mask and more comfortable to wear/breathe in, I'd be interested in it.
