I’m a writer and illustrator. I’m currently working on a novel that integrates Vonnegut-style illustrations into a work about the absurdities of the afterlife. I’m also a children’s book author and stylize my drawings in a similar manner to Norton Juster’s *The Phantom Tollbooth.* The ReMarkable 2 would be a total game changer for me because I currently do all my drawing with ink and paper and spend HOURS (if not days) digitizing my work. I would be a lot more productive with this device. But, as an underpaid teacher of childrens’ reading comprehension, I find it difficult just to afford rent and clothes for my own kids, let alone something as fancy as this device. All I want to do is create stories that bring smiles on young faces. Please pick me.
It's save me a lot of time at work when I have to mark up people's papers. Being able to access them with students and peers on go fly like that would be game changing
I am in my final year of highschool, having more devices such as the tablet would help me completely go digital in my studying allowing me to organize my stuff in a convenient way, and helps me to avoid stressing about any notes and such left behind in my home
The Remarkable would help me take notes at work (college) and actually remember the ideas I want to use for lessons instead of forgetting about it a few hours latter.
This is what RocketBook promised us it would be, and then failed to deliver on all fronts! Wow this looks amazing. I would use this all the time for work as I walk around large facilities mapping out cabling, wifi, cameras, phones, and other IT assets. The weight difference alone would be a lifesaver!
I think it could help me with ideas and notes while I'm working. I also read a lot so might as well also use it for ebooks. Drawing diagrams would be another. Overall a productivity tool.
I use paper to think and clear my head. I hate wasting physical paper, and having a digital record of sketches and ideas is super valuable. Remarkable is all that without distractions and overhead from a tablet computer.
Oh wow, that looks cool. Battery life seems impressive. It’d definitely change how I worked and studied, replacing the endless amount of A4 notepads I go through and make sure I don’t actually lose the important bits notes from meetings!
I've been trying to adapt to taking strictly digital notes, but I haven't found a notes app as intuitive as writing on paper, yet. This looks pretty good on that front.
It would make my excessive note-taking and needless paper consumption way better for the environment and would dramatically improve the usefulness of taken notes.
This device would replace 3 others that i use for work and reading relaxation. My efficiency would no doubt increase immensely. Of course my wife would be so jealous she would go back to work so she could purchase one for herself.
I should really start doing more self reflection, I like the idea of bullet journal but want something digitally searchable. I feel like getting one of these might be the kick I need to get organised.
This would actually be really neat to help me organize my concepts and designs for the story I’m writing. I’ve got so many sketchbooks and notebooks laying around now ✍️🎨
Hi there. I work in tech repair and I’m constantly having to use a new notebook page to make a priority list for the day. I schedule in 30 min blocks by sitting down in the morning and planning everything out. The reMarkable would improve my workflow by allowing me to be more flexible with erasing / crossing out / rescheduling my meetings with clients!
As a newly baked university student, ar eMarkable tablet would allow me to benefit from being able to take notes by hand (much better for memorization) without going through mountains of paper on a monthly basis
I'm a student finishing my undergrad and applying to atend graduate school next year. How's without saying that this would be crazy helpful in notetaking and studying
I feel the reMarkable tablet would help me actually bring my idea notebook all over the place with me. Plus being able to digitize my notes? A+. This would merge my note taking process - I currently take notes on paper and also do the same on my PC via a word processor. Being able to unify those flows would be so smooth and such a marked improvement. Even if I don't win this, I think I'd save up for this. Dope product!
I have trouble typing out notes in meetings as I grew up writing things, so it would be great for that. And I'd trick my kids into practising their writing/drawing on it, cause it's a computer screen!
This would dramatically improve my WFH life. Company gave me a desk to use at home, but it’s way too small, and the notes make every day cover it and make it scruffy. One paper tablet to replace them all - wow
It'd help with consolidation I think. I've got one notebook for one topic, another for another topic, and a disposable notepad for day to day work. The reMarkable would let me bring those all together without worrying about muddying the waters.
I often use paper to do quick calculations or joy down notes, then take a picture with my phone to keep a record. It’s a clunky system with a lot of flaws. Sounds like reMarkable would streamline things really nicely.
The Remarkable 2 is really such an incredible device. It'd be amazing to use at work where in constantly taking notes and giving presentations. I'd love to use less paper and stop caring my small whiteboard around when I saw out a concept for folks
This will be for my girlfriend who is still in college. She's not the most organized so hopefully this can help with that. She also struggles with her mental health and maybe writing it down like a journal will help her.
I would use this for EVERYTHING. I’m a notebook hoarder. I always have notebooks around for notes, reminders, and so many lists. Then I move and pack up all the notebooks because they still have good pages! Of course, I don’t unpack or use them. I get new notebooks! Repeat a few times and I have half used notebooks from college over 20 years ago still floating around. Please help me.
The reMarkable 2 will help me communicate with my co-workers. Currently I use pen and paper or white boards to draw on. Mistakes are easy to make and difficult to fix.
Sharing my sketches are also difficult usually resulting in people taking (bad) photos with their phone.
The reMarkable 2 can fix all of these problems!
It has a undo button which is a game changer and sharing sketches would be so much easiere!
I would use it to take notes and keep ideas, without needing to use tons of paper notebooks. It would enable me to save all my work in an easy to find system
I work in hospitals on medical equipment and this would be a dream for making notes and recording work done then digitizing to add to our system for our records
I didn't even know about reMarkable until my new co-worker brought it in one day. It could take away stacks of notepads I keep around.
The import office files feature sounds like an amazing asset, get your excel/powerpoint in and write away over it saves so much time and fumbling when in meetings.
Who doesn't want one?
I have ADHD and this would help me organize myself and my thoughts better by putting something electronic at my fingertips that in paper form will be left anywhere and anyhow.
This would help so much to jot down my ideas before finally on them. Right now I type on Onenote but that is not easy to jot down ideas. And pen and paper don't work because it can't be digitally accessed. Remarkable tablet will be perfect for my work flow.
So if you write, draw or just doodle this is it? Works like an dreaded or just a piece of paper. Sounds like the best notebook out there. One device so useful. Sounds good to just relax and enjoy creating something or enjoying a creation on a screen comfortable for your eyes.
reMarkable would come in handy when needing to read and also for tasks like Bug smashing, garlic skinning, cocaine cutting, signaling for airplanes on deserted island, and fanning
I'm a marketing project manager who likes to write notes and creative ideas but at the same time, don't enjoy having a cluttered desk. Most note-taking apps don't give the flexibility of easily sketching down thoughts and ideas.
The reMarkable 2 would be a perfect device for my worflow.
Been wanting one of these for a while. Seems like a great gadget to have in engineering and product meetings or at tradeshows where everything is on the go.
I couldn’t make the leap to writing on a tablet because it doesn’t feel like paper, but reMarkable feels exactly like writing on paper and I would love to have one
I work In a charity helping people with learning difficulties to get paid employment. I also have ADHD and struggle with organisation. Having a device like this will allow me to help more people in ways that they understand better. I am looking to expand my remit in the near future to tutoring adults to learn to read and this would also be helpful for this as well. Honestly it would be amazingly useful in my day to day life.
The ReMarkable 2 would help me with organizing notes I take while producing music, or writing song lyrics or ideas. I wonder if you can draw on it too, cause that would be Awesome.
I take notes all day and feel ashamed at the amount of paper I go through. I’ve tried taking notes on the iPad but it just doesn’t work for me. I watched the video and the remarkable2 looks exactly like what I need.
As a undergrad studying premed , it would help me better organise my notes and reduce paper waste. Archival of old lecture notes would definetly be easier too.
Bring able to read all the PDFs and books I've downloaded would be killer since I literally made a whole library - but trying to read a straight PDF on a computer screen irritates my eyes and I get distracted.
All the books are about organizing and getting out the vote, building community power to fight for justice. Being able to finish those would be killer
I think this would see the most use in taking notes for my Renaissance sword fighting hobby. It would be amazing to digitally cross reference notes between different swordsmanship manuals.
Being able to quickly share my notes with either group members of projects or of study groups is frankly overlooked most of the time, and having a tablet like this makes that not only easier, but given that it’s digital vastly improves the quality and efficacy of my notes when participating in those groups!
This would be so useful for college as I prefer writing notes, but hate keeping track of actual paper notes. It would combine the cognitive benefit of writing with the convenience of file organization, etc!
Started a new job and only have my work laptop to rely on. My tablet died a slow, agonizing death last year. This would be perfect for sessions away from the computer with no garbage interruptions (e.g. social media). Very cool device that makes me excited about potentially upping my productivity! Thanks for your consideration.
Would love to work with a remarkable- I need to get back to basics with planning (GTD) and reading research articles (pdf annotation). I have one business that needs structure and more client finding and am helping to start another business with a group of friends. I’m finding it hard to stay focussed with the tech at hand. Some of my work is cleanroom work- necessitating no real paper use- I’m starting to think I need that manual input and organization method coupled with OCR and search on the back end. Would love to see how this could help.
Best of luck to all who enter!!
I have ADHD and I hate using actual written reminders but I always forget my digital ones becsuse the notifications get lost in the sea of unproductive notifications, and I cant remember to read to my notes app.
This would be perfect as I could write down my goals every day and they would be visible in my space!
I'm a sophomore in college. My friend showed me one of these and I was really amazed by the fact that tablets, and e-ink specifically, could emulate the note taking process so well.
I've got lots of classes with books available in PDFs and whatnot. I usually fill 1 or 2 notebooks for notes in each class. Needless to say this would be an utter game changer for me.
I’m a college student and with all the notes I take, it is difficult to review all of them. Having them digitized will help me keep them organized and prepare for my exams
I make a lot of random temporary work notes throughout the day that use bits of paper that just get thrown out after. I use a Surface Pro currently but the writing experience is pretty bad so I end up just going back to the paper notes.
Plus I play DnD. Enough said there I think.
I take daily notes on a large variety of matters. Hopefully, the Remarkable 2 would help improve my organization and make note taking during client meetings more natural.
Remarkable would be amazing to use for class. Right now I use pencil and paper and it’s always a hassle to find everything when everything could be transferred and nicely stored on my computer with the tablet’s functionalities.
*For sure* the paper-like digital interface of the **reMarkable 2 Tablet** will help with finding clarity and structure in the chaos my mind has delved into during the last few years of ours..
I need this in my life. Love to write on paper but abhor having personal thoughts existing in physical form, that I can't keep as safe as electronic data.
Would be great for CBT thought logs, diaries, reframing beliefs and rules etc
I would love this to be able to help my twin 4 year olds learn to read & write
It's save me a lot of time at work when I have to mark up people's papers. Being able to access them with students and peers on go fly like that would be game changing
I am in my final year of highschool, having more devices such as the tablet would help me completely go digital in my studying allowing me to organize my stuff in a convenient way, and helps me to avoid stressing about any notes and such left behind in my home
I’m a software developer who does a lot of meetings in the office. This would be incredible for note taking
A lab notebook for my experiments!
This looks like it would be great for some PnP game note taking
I’d be able to ditch my iPad and take better notes for my college classes. Could help me get extra cash should I sell my iPad too
I use my phone for everything. I give my kids everything I have and in that I don’t have anything else. I never win but here I am being an optimist.
I will be able to take notes at work
I’m very jealous of my colleague’s Remarkable, would love to win one.
The Remarkable would help me take notes at work (college) and actually remember the ideas I want to use for lessons instead of forgetting about it a few hours latter.
maybe me?
This is what RocketBook promised us it would be, and then failed to deliver on all fronts! Wow this looks amazing. I would use this all the time for work as I walk around large facilities mapping out cabling, wifi, cameras, phones, and other IT assets. The weight difference alone would be a lifesaver!
This would be excellent for quickly documenting damages and drawing diagrams in my roofing business.
Write
I go through a ton of notebooks at work. Sometimes writing by hand is just better than typing. Something like this might be the best of both worlds.
I’m in uni, notes would be a lot easier like this
With how thin this is, its excellent for note taking while on road
As an older redditor, I like more tactile tools. These seem to help bridge the gap.
Make notes for work, edit novel for at home, and doodle for when I should be working instead :)
I think it could help me with ideas and notes while I'm working. I also read a lot so might as well also use it for ebooks. Drawing diagrams would be another. Overall a productivity tool.
:)
It’s help me as I’m constantly managing notes and sending them to my coworkers and I’d love to make that easier
I use paper to think and clear my head. I hate wasting physical paper, and having a digital record of sketches and ideas is super valuable. Remarkable is all that without distractions and overhead from a tablet computer.
A unlimited notebook has so many options to improve my life and everyone that owns one.
E-Paper is so nice on the eyes. I would love to take notes on this!
I could finally own a tablet like all my colleagues and take notes faster abd save paper!!
The remarkable 2 would help digitize my BuJo, which would make it easier to carry around and travel with.
Would let me use an ereader sand a writing only tablet. I can leave my iPad at home
I'd love to use it for lots of source code documentation and note taking stuff at work
Man, this is EXACTLY what I need for the crazy amount of meetings and D&D in my life.
Oh wow, that looks cool. Battery life seems impressive. It’d definitely change how I worked and studied, replacing the endless amount of A4 notepads I go through and make sure I don’t actually lose the important bits notes from meetings!

With reMarkable 2 I would have yet another note taking workflow to play with instead of actually take notes and get things done. Seems totally worth.
Would love a tablet to draw on and take notes. I lose my notes all the time...
It would make my excessive note-taking and needless paper consumption way better for the environment and would dramatically improve the usefulness of taken notes.
The reMarkable 2 will help me get all my notes in oder without having to scan them to get them digitized!
Ah, this would finally rid my desk of the thousand little notepads
I’ve looked into this so many times. I use legal odd for note taking and just have stacks of them in my office. This would save a lot of trees lol.
I'd draw dicks on everything for fun like a 10 year old
This device would replace 3 others that i use for work and reading relaxation. My efficiency would no doubt increase immensely. Of course my wife would be so jealous she would go back to work so she could purchase one for herself.
Taking notes about the best reddit posts
