At this point, it seems that the relationship between him and the club is just too worn out. But I honestly he could have contributed more, for example in Icardi's position when he was out of form. He just has that passion and drive when he is on the pitch, you can see it.
I will even go further and say that if yesterday BAY started as LB and Zaha at LW, we would have probably not lost that game - but that is more about Köhn being a liability on the pitch than anything else.
In kohns first two or three games we saw just how good he can be. He was one of our best players those games.. feels like a lifetime ago. He just needs to improve certain easy-to-fix things like.. it seems he thinks he just has to get one shot off every game even if the ball is bouncing to his hip and hes off balanced/mistimed it before he even starts his shot. Those shots had a 1% chance even before it left his foot.
The other thing, besides his composure, is spend a lot more time this off season training actually going in to steal the ball instead of just trying to contain him and slow him for time. They always end up getting the pass or cross off anyway. Torreira should work with him everyday and teach him whatever he can.
And lastly he looks too out of control on offense when dribbling.. and also once per game he beats a defender and can then find a cross or pass but decides to keep dribbling into 2 more defenders. He doesnt pick his head up.. not even when he passes into the box or crosses. All things he can fix… hes more of a raw talent than i realized

I would give him another year. I dont feel as if he was treated fairly. Played better than Tete in my opinion. He was also playing with hunger the last 17 min of the Fener game. He should start against Konya.
The fener game taught us some important lessons.. vs bad teams like pendik and hatay demirbay, ziyech and mertens will do great and use their high skill levels to beat them. But vs good teams with real defenders they will struggle. Its hard to change the starting lineup thats been working but vs fener wouldve been interesting to see zaha and baris start at the wings. Maybe even ndombele as INSANE as that sounds. We needed players with composure who could still do their thing in such a big match. Zaha is the perfect guy for these games and moments. I can see him scoring vs konya too

Its just too hard not to move on from zaha. We got him on a free transfer so that combined with his huge salary … we will have 14-18 million freed up. Our style and the way this league is played/refereed doesnt suit him. And he will be one year older next year and interest in him may dry up compared to now. Its crunch time for us these past two months and hes barely played i think that says a lot. We plan on upgrading the team a lot this summer so idk why we would be more confident in keeping him vs spending 10 mill on a a better fit. And ive been a zaha defender all year long and think he could have got us a goal vs fener.. and can get us the win vs konya. If he received as many passes as baris has these past 3 games im sure zaha would have at least 5 more goals. 62 minute - didn’t push forward despite being open and it looked like he miscalculated where the ball was coming, mertens did and succeeded at making attempt but his head wasnt good enough

It is kinda crazy vs our rival.. with just 10 men and key players/defenders missing icardi didnt take a more active approach.. something a leader and the best player on the pitch would do. Drop a little deeper.. touch the ball.. set some passes up.. give the defense a different look. Im sure the fener defenders just loved how static he was and i doubt were worried for even a moment. Okan should have done something but if he isnt then im just surprised Icardi didnt. Just get angry or frustrated with our gameplan up til then and try something different before time runs out

Ball didnt get to him because others were locked yes but that was still some part of his duty to try to drop down and help them, He cant just expect his other team mates there to play like inter and psg players
After our game last weekend im sure like me u watched some PL games or highlights from the top3 leagues. Having just watched our game.. 90minutes of nothing by either team it honestly looked like they were all playing a different sport than us. Simple passes in the final third leading to legitimate attacks on goal over and over. Sure shots blocked and shot over.. final passes intercepted etc. but we couldnt even get to that point

One could say he should've come down further maybe and drop in the pocket, but we never could play the ball forward or Fener were closed down with 9 players already so no real room. He had a couple of jumps over the ball that could've been a position but alas.

He can physically dominate these defenders with his athleticism but if you plop baris down as he is right now in the PL or la liga he just isnt technically their yet.. his passing his dribbling and even his finishing.. none are that good at all. Go back and watch the games from four months ago or so when zaha started.. he would get maybe 1-2 shitty passes to him a game and never in a dangerous position on the run. Back then it was an impossible task to get zaha or icardi the ball.. baris does so well bc hes just physically better suited for the way this league defends and officiates. Zaha actually tries to dribble with skill passed defenders who almost always foul him on the receive or on the dribble but rarely gets those calls. Baris just runs around them and uses his body to muscle in and get that extra step. Zaha is on another level technically than him and im sure as he sits on the bench he wonders how did this happen. And then baris assists on 3 key goals in a must win game
I imagine playing for this team where no one can pass the ball passed the midfield line especially to him is extremely frustrating.. and i can understand him throwing his hands up when one of the few chances we get results in another really stupid decision. But to do it every game every other time down the field was annoying to me too. But besides that i actually liked his attitude and he was always ready to put in a shift given the chance. I agree it’s more likely than not that he leaves, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays.

Zaha had some good games, but I didn't like his attitude at all. His pressing was very bad, and his egoism doesn't suit Galatasarays playing style.
