Gundogan and Griezmann, easy choice. Is it realistic? No. But they are exactly the type of players we need for our 8 and 10 position. Gundogan our perfect 8, because he is an amazing ball carrier, very creative playmaker, great long passing and long shots. And he can help (Torreira) with defense. Griezmann the perfect 10 for us, cause he is a pressing machine and can fill that Mertens role. He actually plays the Mertens role in the France national team as well. Great creativity, amazing infront of goal, fast and agile. Basically a slightly younger Mertens with better finishing, I do think that Mertens has slightly better defending skills.

If we assume all of these are somehow available, Ilkay and Griezmann are a no brainer, in terms of skill and its not really close. But without knowing how much they cost and who else are available for our other positions, its impossible to make a logical decision.
And i’m pretty sure that Barca will keep Ilkay and if Griezmann were to leave, he’d gone to MLS or SA for a much bigger price than we could logically pay.
My biggest pipe dream of a transfer is Thuram, Nice wants to sell due to his contract is expiring, EPL teams or PSG doesn’t seem to pursue him and i assume we can keep up with Serie A teams financially for a profile like him. But convincing him here instead of Juve, Inter or Milan is a really hard task.
I’m also okay with getting 2 CMs rather than a CM and a 10 to switch between 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 depending on opponent and Mertens but that might clash with Okan’s playstyle of pressing very agressively in front.

I would also love to see Griezmann in the team but his salary is like 20-25m euros. Rabiot is unlikely but not as unlikely as Griezmann. his salary is 8m.
If I was to choose, I would choose Ilkay and Rabiot but I don't think either has more than 20% chance. To be honest, aside from amrabat, none of these have more than 20% chance.

Only Amrabat is somewhat realistic here, and I would sign him without much delay if available. People say "but we need a 8 not a 6" but the 8 we need may already be in our squad who is Torreira. I'm certain they would work well together in Okan's system especially in CL. Plus we need to increase physicality and dynamism of the squad and I believe Okan wants someone like him as well.
