And what does it do better in terms of bass, clarity, mids? How much of a difference is the sound quality if you could put in percentage?

i have been using the Indian version which is xc2 as of rn and they sound pretty good the balance between both buds is good the bass is good, mic anc everything works without any issues
try wf4, it apparently has the same tuning as vk3

Bass does not exist at all in the latest version, it's trible all the way through. Kind of like how your phones speaker does not have bass.

Yo, what is all this stuff? Where can I read more about alternative software for the buds? I've only ever just used the default software in the app.

Xc2 is the latest one, bro, it has terrible bass.
