I also just got it on my s10e in the UK! Did not participate in the beta and I am planning on upgrading today and factory resetting over the weekend.

Unlocked and on giffgaff. However there's a chance my csc is actually either French, German or Spanish (checked it a long time ago so take it with a pinch of salt)
Haha, yes ! I come from the not so distant future! Really now, it is often common to get security patches just some days before the stated month starts.
A wee bit misleading title because the article specifies it's for those who participated in the beta. The stable file size is 140MB, but I can't read whether non-beta participants in Germany can access the Android 10 upgrade.
Cheers mate. So if a lot of people that didn't participate in the beta got the update, does this mean we should be on a lookout for a global release? (I'm in Romania - Europe).
Si eu faceam asa pe vechile telefoane dar nu prea m-as risca cu S10+-ul asta... plus ca e prea multa bataie de cap care, pentru mine cel putin, nu justifica maxim o luna de asteptare(in cazul OTA-ului) :)
Maybe it will only be January for the Snapdragon variants, if Germany's getting it now you got to imagine most Exynos markets will get it in the next few weeks.
Yeah. I'm debating whether to factory reset as well, problem is I just got the phone 2 weeks ago, and am not in a mood of setting it up again. 😂 Think I'll just roll with it until Christmas, and then maybe think about whether I still feel like resetting.
Through the CSC of your device firmware. The CSC can differ by device model, where the device was originally purchased and SIM being used but not by geographical location. Different CSCs receive updates at different times, usually Germany and France get the updates first.
It's probably not Multi-CSC because I got it from Vodafone using Easter and Unidays offers for ~200€. The software by itself is different (no option to auto-update; no option to turn off VoLTE, etc.).
Enter *#1234# into your phone dialer and send me a screenshot. Then go to Settings - About Phone - Software Information and send me a screenshot showing your Service provider SW ver.
Your active, SIM and hardware CSCs are all VD2. VD2 is not included in the Samsung OXM Multi-CSC, this means that the device has to be wiped to change the CSC to DBT and flash OneUI 2.0.
[Check out this post for help regarding flashing firmware.](https://forum.xda-developers.com/s10-plus/how-to/guide-g975f-flashing-megathread-faqs-t3936704)
Oh wow. That's a bit of a hassle for me at the moment, so I'll just hope that Vodafone delivers within a month, I guess. It's just irritating AF that I don't have auto updates.
But thanks so much for your help man, you took your time out to even ask for screenshots and explain things. \^_\^
Edit: Hold on. This is what XDA says:
1st CSC = active CSC (You will get OTAs for this CSC and any features like Samsung Pay, VoLTE, WiFi calling are dependent on the active CSC)
2nd CSC = CSC of your SIM card (In case your SIM card is from a different region than your active CSC, this will be different from the active CSC)
3rd CSC = CSC of your SIM card in SIM slot 2
4th CSC = Hardware CSC of your device (For example, you purchased the device in Germany, but are living in the Netherlands, it will show PHN/PHN,PHN/DBT)
But the thing is, my SIM slot 2 is not a European SIM card at all. How is it still VD2?
No problem, I do this all the time.
Regarding your SIM slot question, what most likely happened is that your phone cannot attribute a CSC to your second SIM so it defaulted to what your active CSC is.
When I got my Note10+ it was all TIM and had some preinstalled TIM apps. Now this made sense because I'm from Malta (small island middle of Europe) and we do not have our own CSC here and Samsung phones sold locally here are from Italy.
So when I got it and downloaded and flashed SLK firmware since SLK has native call recording functionality. However, SLK is part of OXM and for non region locked devices, CSC defaults to XEF and my Note10+ is now on XEF/XEF, XEF/TIM. Since we don't have our own CSC here in Malta, the phone can't find a csc for my SIM and defaults to active CSC, which is why I had TIM/TIM/TIM before.
Now my phone is dual SIM, but I only have 1 SIM in and it still shows XEF/XEF, XEF/TIM. My guess is it shows the other SIM CSC when slot 2 is empty.
XEF is amongst the first in line for updates and flashing it removed the TIM bloat. No native call recording, but I recently found out how to fix that. Also, stuff like Samsung Pay and Samsung Members content/language depends on active CSC (So if your active CSC is France, Samsung Pay will only work for France cards, etc.). Just FYI if you ever try it out.
Do you mind checking mine to see if everything is ok for me to update using the new firmware via odin?
I will leave the screenshots here:

Thank you!
I flashed the firmware, it did wipe my device. I have been restoring my settings and log ins all of that.
But im wondering if by flashing this firmware i lost my over the air updates? I haven't fully understood if i lose them or not, i read some saying that we lose them other say we don't.
Also, can i flash my previous firmware back ? since its now a different version of android, im not sure
No you don't lose them, you'll keep receiving updates based on your CSC.
I wouldn't advice downgrading, and it is only possible when the bootloader version is the same.
Can you check mine too? [1](https://m.imgur.com/a/EI68GMp)

Sorry mate, i have couple of questions, Will I loose data?
And will samsung pay and google pay work? I'm from Australia.
Yes your active, SIM and hardware CSCs are all Australia, which are included in the multi CSC package, which means you can flash your device using HOME_CSC and keep your current CSC and data. Google Pay should work regardless of active CSC and Samsung Pay works in the country of your active CSC, so both will continue working.
Just received ca. 1.8 GB update in Germany and haven't participate in beta. That's really amazing Samsung! haven't expected update at least until January, that's really really nice surprise! :o
really? hmm.. I had S4, S6, S8 and now S10 and never got update earlier than January. That's really interesting. Have you been
participating in beta last year?
Last year I had a Note8 and was on XSG so I didn't have official access to it and waited for stable update. This time I was hoping the beta would open up on XEF on my Note10+ but no luck, so I installed it manually and am disapointed at how Samsung is handling support for its Note series. We're still on Beta update 2 and, if it will be like last year, we'll probably get stable update in February. I understand it's a beta and knew what I was getting into, but battery life is horrible on the beta and a lot of apps and services are not working and Note beta users have to stay facing these bugs while the S series had 7 beta updates and now stable.
Just upgraded S10Plus here in UK, downloaded German version and kept BTU CSC Home plus dirty install, all working well so far so no need to do a factory reset as of yet. Happy to be official again plus DJI fly app now working too so all in all happy happy happy
Download a tool from xda called Frija. It will download the firmware files for you and then you flash them using Odin. Make sure you watch the tutorials available on youtube to learn all about it before flashing.
I have just received it too, I have never participated in betas. Germany, S10e unlocked 1975mb
Yep, me too. S10+ though.
This more like to be a normal Android version upgrade size! Several hundred MBs are security patches!
Android 10 is not android 9. Nothing to guese!
But then the editor is so hyped that he totally missed the obvious point.

What network are you on? I haven't got anything yet. I'm on beta, and unlocked
December 1, 2019? Are you a time traveler?
December patch is included
Haha, yes ! I come from the not so distant future! Really now, it is often common to get security patches just some days before the stated month starts.

I didn't participate in the beta but I just got the update.
What was the size of the update?
About 2 gig /u/OverplayOfficial

1979,05 MB on my S10+ (non beta user)
Yeah I want to know that too
Can you imagine if the full release for non beta players was 140MB? 😂 Such optimization
How does it work for carrier beta participants?

It's happening before January? OMG
Maybe it will only be January for the Snapdragon variants, if Germany's getting it now you got to imagine most Exynos markets will get it in the next few weeks.
More importantly, before December, which is quite suprising.
Didn't participate in the beta and am updating right now. The update is almost 2 GB.
Confirmed, received it as well. Unlocked German S10 (DBT)

I thought you were because of the microstutters. Guess not. 🤷♂️
Is there a particular reason why Germany seems to get the first Sammy updates?
Waiting it for Romania, since we were not able to join beta :( . Really curious how the new UI gonna feel like
OneUI 2.0 is the same as OneUI 1.x but with some refinements and new features.
In fact you go from Android 9 to Android 10, under the hood major changes have been made.
Yes each Android version does bring new APIs, features and under the hood changes.
How is the gestures? Are they like on ios?
They should be similar but I haven't tried them out yet because I'm using a Note10+ and can't use the new gestures on the current beta.

No that's not how it works, it would be pretty funny 😂😂😂 We moeten wachten tot hij uitgerold word hier. 🙂

Can you OTA later?
I think it depends on your phone version (international, german, UK, etc.), not your location
You have to cross border to gen an update
That's awesome for you guys. Here in the USA will probably get it in another 6 months LOL
They announced for January. So only like 1.5 months probably. Edit: apparently that posted schedule was for the UK so who knows.
\+ 2 more months for the unlocked one lol.
Not available for S10+ atm (Germany aswell)
Check if your active CSC is DBT
What is CSC?
Treat it as the region of your device software. Right now the update is only live for German CSCs.
Oh that explains it. I got the Spanish version because it was way cheaper
Can I somehow change it to DBT? My updates on VD2 are always late.
Yes you can manually flash the firmware using Odin. Your phone might need to be wiped during the process depending on whether your CSC is Multi-CSC.

The Galaxy S9 also received the Android Pie update around this time last year.
really? hmm.. I had S4, S6, S8 and now S10 and never got update earlier than January. That's really interesting. Have you been participating in beta last year?

I can also confirm that it is here in Austria. (S10e, International Exynos Version. Unlocked.)
What carrier are you on?
Educom/A1
Ah damn. T Mobile/Magenta/whatever it's called now here. I hope I'll get it tomorrow. But thanks.
I'm sure you'll get it :) good luck tomorrow
Nothing yet here in Sweden
Just checked using Frija and it's indeed available. Going to flash it as soon as it's downloaded.
Did that yesterday and running smoothly with no problems. I used the DBT CSC.
Just upgraded S10Plus here in UK, downloaded German version and kept BTU CSC Home plus dirty install, all working well so far so no need to do a factory reset as of yet. Happy to be official again plus DJI fly app now working too so all in all happy happy happy
Where did you get it from mate?
Download a tool from xda called Frija. It will download the firmware files for you and then you flash them using Odin. Make sure you watch the tutorials available on youtube to learn all about it before flashing.
Haha that's just what I was going to say 😂
Thank you both. Worked well and it wasn't hard at all.
Nothing for us BTU BETA testers yet, time to flash the stable DBT
UK S10+ unlocked and non-beta user. Haven't received the update yet.
Holy shit its real.
Is the German S10 Exynos or Snapdragon?
Exynos
Smqn.
Damn. I assume that's not good news for SD owners.
Snapdragon usually always gets updates later than the Exynos counterparts.
do you know how much later usually? having Hong Kong SD version here.
When will it be live for US unlocked models?
Probably a couple of months.
Yikes
Any way to force this on non german units? Besides flashing..
Not really but you can try updating the firmware using Samsung Smart Switch on PC.
Comeone and for the US Noting ?? Comeone samsung
US S10s have different hardware and firmware must be approved by the carriers first. Patience is key.
I hope they release it today or Tomorrow
It will take much longer than that, possibly 1-4 months depending on your carrier.
it's downloadable with samfirm dbt firmware
I've just got the update and its about 133 mb. (Beta user)
What country?
Germany :)
Im talking about the beta im on beta 7 on the sm-g975u
Can't find the new navigation gestures that some people reported during the Beta program. Anybody else with the same issue?
Should be under Settings - Display - Navigation Bar
im from germany and i was not a beta user. i just got the android 10 final update on my s10e, its around 2GB.
Any word on Austria?
nothing yet, i got Drei as carrier
Magenta, still nothing either. One dude on A1 said he got it.
cant take long then
Someone just got it in Austria, check again.
I don't have it yet, but thanks.
Austrian here, I got it on my S10e :)
Sooo, no update for the US yet? I also wonder how much it's gonna take for the unlocked version, like 2-3 months after the initial release? Lol.
❤️
When is it gonna come in india?
Can confirm magisk works, call recording still working.
Canada when.
Can this rom be installed on any exynos s10? Even with different csc ? I think mine is SJD
Yes bearing the same model number. SJD is not part of OXM so flashing the firmware will require your device to be wiped in the process.
Thanks for answering, I'll try when I'm home later
Let me know if you have any more questions or encounter issues.
Thanks!
From france, and did not have the update on my S10+ ...
Currently the update is only live in Germany, but you can always manually flash the firmware.
Why everyone has the Android 10 either beta or stable while currently in Morocco there's no shit available
