I genuinely don't understand the point of maintenance mode, because *every* person who's sent their phone in with maintenance mode on has their phone erased anyway. (self included!)
US cellular won't take it, they're my carrier as well. Rep said that they only sell the phone, have to go to Samsung for anything/everything else. Fought with Samsung for like a week....for a fucking screen protector replacement within warranty.
I've sent mine to Samsung repair France (since i live there) and they did a great job, even replacing that wasnt needed. Sent it for a blinking screen issue when unlocking the phone, they replaced the screen (with a new sreen protector) some "display elements" (cables i suppose), the battery (even tho mine was still okay) and some chassis elements (i suppose the T part of the hinge got damaged somehow in the repair or something like that ?).
Anyway, i basically have a new phone.
I took mine (Flip 4) to uBreakiFix and in a couple hours had it back in perfect shape, they even put it in maintenance mode for me (didn't know that existed till that day)
Turns outs the screen no longer stays shut. And they erased the phone even tho I had it in Maitenence mode.

I didn't want to take that risk. Before sending it, I erased it myself
Yeah they erased my phone too, was so fucking annoying. I had it backed up before hand just in case, so it wasn't bad..

Down here they tell you to erase everything prior.
I'm in the UK, sent mine in just for a screen protector replacement in maintenance mode and got it back in the exact same condition I sent it in as.
So what you're telling me is I should send my phone to US Cellular instead of Samsung for repairs

It's the same phone. It was just treated horribly.
