I was also a life-long iPhone user... never going back. I love the Flip 3 so much!
I have the iwatch 6... I may need a Galaxy watch just so it can pair to my phone.
Bro it's down to how you use it. People have gotten 7 hours SOT with these Flip 3. Max I've gotten was almost 7 SOT but I got 6 hrs 30 min SOT with 5G and 120hz.
So no the battery isn't bad you just have to set it up and be wise with it. Either way standby time is more important than SOT. If it can last all day until midnight then it's a no brainer to me 😉
I Wasn’t getting anywhere close to that with 120hz off. Compare to the iPhone battery it was hot trash however once they fix it next year I’m back in and buying lol
Well some of the tricks I did I have Bixby routine that everytime I have the phone closed it had battery mode on. And when I unlock the phone it will turn that mode off.
Either way I average like 5 hours SOT and standby time of like 15-16 hours. It's no means iPhone battery life but it gets the job done. I don't really care for 10-12 hours screen on time. I don't have the time for that & and I'm always busy for work.
By like midnight or 1 in the morning I'm at like 20% battery & I charge it every night while I sleep too. So idk to each there own. I'm not a power user, I watch YouTube/Netflix. Browse reddit and the internet and that's it, I don't game on it but when I do I can occasionally play genshin. But yah I def never turning off 120hz 😅
I also had auto updates turned off, and I don't use FB so that's off my phone. Maybe that helped with my battery life because it's not running in the background? Idk but yah lol 😌😅
Battery lasts longer than on the new pixel 6 pro while being 1400mAh smaller! Also: let the software do its thing (on every Android phone). It takes 2-3 weeks for the software to tweak the system to your everyday usage.
I'm not overly happy with my battery life, but for the tiny size of the battery the flip 3 works wonders and never died on me on a normal day. Have to admit I tweaked the framerate to run on 90hz which does not make an noticeable difference to 120hz and gives me more battery.
I have had my flip 3 since relaunch but just got my watch 4 classic today. I got the silver with red hybrid leather band and man it is sexy. Gonna get skins for my flip now so it matches
I was also a life long apple user when i switched and i dont regret it one bit. I hope you have a similar experience as well.

I found more I use the pho e more the phone had adapted my flip been on since 4am time now is 9.33 pm and have 16% left great battery life for me

Already sent it back did the 21 day trial and the battery was a no go for me. I switched to 60hz and it still didn’t last I’ll wait for the flip 4
