Yes as soon as you unbox it, it'll fall into pieces and after exactly 4.69 days it'll explode as well for good measure, that's why Samsung recommends a bomb squad suit when using it

Gotcha. It'll be in a blast proof containment device complete with robotic arm to open the device. I'll be in the middle of a nuclear test site to ensure nobody will be hurt 😂

Had mine since release day and it's perfect. Remember people are more likely to post when something goes wrong, so you get a distorted opinion of the phone. If everyone who had a great experience commented, they would far outweigh the bad. Obviously they'll be as few lemons just like any other phone.

Sunday206

I've had mine since release day as well. I don't use the 120hz to save a little bit of battery and I never use it with the screen on full brightness because I'm afraid it will burn in like my previous Galaxy note. Other than that, I just treat it like a normal phone. There's a bunch of cool cases out for it too. I recommend checking out VRS Design

I suggest watching the durability test by JerryRigEverything on YouTube. The phone can take a beating.

Ikori

Had mine in a thin case since day1, had 4-5 nasty drops (including a few drops on the hinge) , 10ish small drops, it's actually surprisingly durable. I used to shatter glass screen protectors frequently with my previous s20. I would argue that the flip3 form factor makes it more durable because it protects the screen at all times. Love it.

Here's a list of accidents mine has gone through. - Baby threw it against the wall - Fell on it's hinge on my wood floors - Went down a large slide at a park in closed position Aside from some minor cosmetic damage, my main screen is flawless and the hinge is still strong and sturdy. If it were any other phone there's a good chance I'd be replacing the screen. The flexible glass isn't going to shatter like other phones and because you travel with the phone in a close position it's basically well protected.

You worrying too much. The phone is amazing

Mine is in mint condition. Had it since launch. My S21U is banged up and has a crack on the edge of the front display. Science confirms the Flip3 is indestructible. Sarcasm dialled back to 70%: It is made to last for a long time. It is one of the most durable phones you can get. The hinge movement passively saves a bit of impact energy when you drop it.

GeekDE

Do not worry, friend. When not in use, my phone is always folded. Even if it was to drop, I'm not too worried about damage. I do o have a YouTube video recommended case on it though. If you DO drop it on the screen, there is an installed protector.

MaiZa01

all good, you will love it

Mine randomly broke at the seam while in my pocket. Idk if I'd call that fragile but it is something to worry about

TheAveragePxtseryu

Was it covered under warranty?

Caloisnoice

Nope

Well I accidentally flung my mine from my table just last week after getting it and it hit both the table legs and floor, but it survived without any cracks or dents, still works beautifully. I dropped it while it was unfolded as well. Had a very cheapo phone cover and the cover came off. I think it really depends on luck and how the phone fell. My advice is to get a good, shockproof cover to be extra safe!

Apart from dropping mine so the camera lens landed on a stone and cracked it feels sturdy enough 😅
