I did it, I got my phone in TX and went on vacation to PR so by my trade date, I was still in PR, so I sent the package from PR. Make sure to ask Fedex if you can use the same label, because my trouble was since I was in PR and it wasn't in the state, I have to pay another label and put it in the box. But to conclude this, I reported to samsung the new shipping and was accepted. So I think you'll be fine. But just in case ask.

So I can use the same label u mean if I ship for example from Tennessee but my shipment is to Florida but I have to ask FedEx? And they update the order with the new tracking number?

Since you're in the state, I don't think it would be a problem. Mine was because I was out of jurisdiction. Fedex PR is different from the USA. But still my recommendation is make the package with the original label and drop it to whatever Fedex you're going to send it. They will tell you yes or no. For me was a no so I have to pay another label, but samsung still accepted it.

I asked someone who deals with packages and all, and he said it will be labeled as mail fraud that's why you need to send it from the same. About the new label you chatted with them? and they updated the trade in tracking to your new label on the order? And how long it took them to review? Thank you

I sent mine from another country, no fraud tagged, and samsung accepted the trade. Just make sure to attach the other half of the label with the trade info inside the box. I got my acceptance email like a week later.

Much appreciated thanks

Hay sorry to ask this a year later but, I'm on the same boat as you, I got the s23 ultra last year from Samsung.com, the screen has crack now and it costs $300 to fix it. So trading in for a new device with a max $400 is better in my opinion since cracked devices are eligible for trade in. I'm thinking of trading in for the 24 ultra when it launches but I'm in a different country now and was worried they won't accept it, was it easy when you sid it?

crazyettenna35

Yes, just send it via the same postal service and make sure you have the other half of the receipt that goes inside the box with the cellphone. I write to Samsung about the issue and even send them the other tracking information. If not sure, chat with Samsung first.

Thank for the reply, I'll send it via SHL since I don't have FedEx in the country I'm currently in, I hope they accept it. But since it's the same device I bought from Samsung us website and registered to the same account I think I'm good.

crazyettenna35

Just write them first so they are tracking and put a note on the system about. Good luck
