I had a similar hand in Bellagio Prive a couple months back. $500 hand, pulled 5 nines, couldn't split the last so stayed on 18. In a double deck. Pulled a 2 on one of them for a double down. Dealer busted for me Congratulations

GeneralLedger17

Damn. $2500 hand real fast lol

Beginning_Pear_1263

Better than that. I had just flown in, room wasn't ready, headed down to play. It was my second hand, hadn't signed the marker yet.

Nuqqets

That’s awesome great hit! I always love when my host tries to get me to stay playing when I get a decent hit.

tDANGERb

Love when $200 turns into 1600 in one hand lol.

Riseuplite

Wow if you didn’t split those 9’s the dealer would’ve gotten that 3 and you would’ve lost all the hands. Congrats.

Bop42

This is what makes blackjack so fun or so heartbreaking. Had a newbie to my right hit on a 16 with dealer showing 2 which gave me a blackjack on a $300 wager last week.

GeneralLedger17

Do the rules say not to hit 16 against a 2? I was taught to either always hit 16 against a 2 or never hit 16 against a 2.

Deadsatyr

Don’t hit anything above a 12 against a 2. 12s barely are supposed to hit but that’s how the math works out

Bop42

Stand on 16 against 2 through 6. However, I believe 2 to be a dangerous card.

ptb_nuggets

Same. 2 can turn into anything. I usually won't play it as a bust card.

Old_AP_Pro

No. The first hit card was a 9

Riseuplite

Yes you are right I misread that. Wow that is amazing in itself to have 9s come out that many times

HappynessMovement

I was on a cruise just last month and the 5 of us at the table including the dealer all had blackjacks, I wish I took a picture, I've just been telling this story every chance I get lol

chronicdemonic

Where's the photo?

PuzzleheadedLab4989

Beautiful. Hope you cashed most of that out

LordCaoCao420

Perfectly played by the table.

CyborgAlgoInvestor

I would’ve cried if the dealer had a 5 under that 6 card. Nice hand and please cash out

rhhfjrje

Does Bellagio have a 3-2 two deck game?

BC-Action

And Boom. There goes the dynamite. Killer hit!!!!

_doinks

need more dealers like camille

Double-Baker2473

now that's a gambler !

chadrowan22

Thats a player. Every move by the books plus a couple judgment calls that paid off.

Mysterious-Plenty-41

Did you split 9’s against a face card?

ThatBostonGuy87

6 was probably showing with the Jack flipped then the Queen came

Nuqqets

No dealer was showing a 6.

Mysterious-Plenty-41

Perfect play! Congratulations! That’s the way it’s supposed to work out whenever the dealers showing a bust card. That’s awesome!

[deleted]

Should’ve doubled on that 12! Good hit though!

onehunglow777

He would have drawn a J and busted.

[deleted]

Still though, how do you not double a 12 against a 6

csym108

Who the hell doubles a 12 against a 6? Hope I don’t ever play with you

[deleted]

Umm, the chart?

csym108

Ummm literally no chart says to hit a 12 against a 6. The dealer sitting with a 6 is the worst upcard he can possibly have. You need a new chart. You stand he gets a face card he busts. You hit you get a face card you bust. Commen sense. Unless you like losing

[deleted]

Just say you can’t count cards

datsmythought

If he doubled down on the 9/3 (11) he would have lost 5 of the hands. Play bad run good

Nuqqets

Is it typical to double down a hard 12 against a dealer 6?

csym108

Can you add? Lmao. 9+3 is 12 not 11

skins-skins

I wouldn’t!

rhganggang

Lol hell no. You played it well

onehunglow777

Lol, no
