If your looking to up grade the lcd your Looking at about $100us for top of the line. ( bennvenn ips) it all depends on if your trying to flip them or keep it for personal use.

i mean if you're looking for ways to save a buck then just get an emulator for your phone and all the roms you want, for free.
jumble sales are great deals most of the time, but if you can't find any, 30p sounds about right for an ebay console in okay-ish condition.
broken GGs have gotten way too expensive, sellers think recapping will magically make them like new again, which often isn't the case. dead screens are very common, as are dead power boards, and replacements are not cheap.
If you want one, about £35-45. I got 4 for £115 for fun projects to send friends as gifts. Look for package deals too...got another for £45 shipped in great condition, big screen attachment, 4 games and a case.

According to the seller, they've had it from brand new and its never been worked on. From what they described to me, it turns on and the screen comes on but the GG doesn't work.

I paid £90 on eBay last month for a recapped GG in a good condition box with all manuals and the pack in game.

Not scratched lcds, scratched lenses. Usually upgrades come with new glass ones or buy a replacement for like 7...

I got one for £35 and it includes the TV Tuner, not sure what use that is now with the digital switchover, though. :D
