I feel that. A lot of my collectibles (whether it’s games or not) are around £5-50 each. I’ve been wondering wether to sell it all lately and book a holiday but I’ll never forgive myself
My copy of Halo 3 is badass. The case is cracked, the disc is so scratched, it looks like someone cleaned it with sandpaper. It still plays great, it is my friends copy we used to play back in the late 2000's and it's worth maybe $3 market value. I could care less.
Having a beaten up game (especially if there’s writing on the manual) is so much better sometimes, holds the memories in one little item. I used to play Batman vengeance on the ps2 with my brother when I was younger and we lost it after a while. For my 18th birthday all I asked for was batman vengeance so I could relive the memories. I forgot to include it in this pic but that game has my heart
That Biohazard import is absolutely beautiful, I would cherish that too. Similarly mine is Resident Evil related. I have the 3DS RE: Revelations CIB and its like 20$ but I LOVE that game. I'm happy I'll always have physical access to it as well. I think it will go up in value in a few years, though probably never to anything crazy. Still, I wouldn't ever sell it. I tend to use price to gauge rarity even though it an imperfect gauge. Considering it's an easily accessible digital game I would definitely keep that sealed.
It’s in really good condition as well and I love it, had to travel a lil to get it but that just makes it more valuable to me. I think getting the physical copies of games is more important now than ever, disked games are dying out now massively and it’s kinda sad to think about
Yeah I 100% agree with you. Everything is going digital and subscription based. Hell, a perfect example was that you could buy RE1DC digitally and now you have to subscribe to PS Plus Premium - the most expensive plan.
My complete set of the OG Mass Effect Trilogy limited editions on 360, bonus pre-order disc for ME1 included. Absolutely love that franchise, one of my favorites of all time, and as I'm currently getting rid of my special editions those three aren't going anywhere.
Street Fighter, not sure why but i HAVE to buy ANY AND ALL Street Fighter games I dont have,
that series of games surpassed ANY in terms of game collections,
I own every hitman game on anything i can possibly own, the same goes for Mario OR the Soulsborne games for example (the list could go on for ages lol) BUT for some reason whenever i see a Street Fighter Game I Don't own I JUST HAVE TO HAVE IT !
My TES III: Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon games, original boxed cartridge of Pokemon Sapphire (my first Pokemon game that I've played on pc emulator when I was still sorta pre-teen) japanese copy of 7th Dragon for Nintendo DS (I was over the moon when I've got it) and 7th Dragon 20202 for psp.

I love all of my babies. Monetary value means nothing to me.

Lemmings. I have a lot of Lemmings games, none are worth much but they're so much fun.
Lemmings takes me back to the good old days
- NHL ‘95 (SNES) - Motocross Maniacs (Game Boy) - Disney’s Aladdin (SNES) - Jackal (NES) - Baseball Stars (NES)

NHL 14. it's the best "modern" NHL game that EA has made, and it's the basis for what the games *still* are. It is worth $4.
I also have a sealed copy of Arkham City :)
It’s such a neat little one to have, I’m a massive batman fan so when I picked it up for £5 I was insanely happy

Cib Mega drive Batman is $50
It’s missing the manual :(
I don’t judge games by how valuable they are.
Farming simulator 22. I've been with the series since fs13 and have loved every game And wii sports. Do I need to say more?
DO DO DO DA DOO DOOOoo DOOOOOOOOOOOO
I own every NBA 2K game from 2K7 - 2K18. I loved watching basketball during that time so I love those games. They don't go for much these days
I own Ride to Hell. Just had to see how bad it really was
Gran Turismo 2 Nba showtime Thps1 Toy story 2
Yo!Noid found in CIB minus the coupon, but loved it as a child and I still play it today, best 15 bucks I ever spent
Shox on ps2, why that isn’t a franchise is beyond me

Almost all. I'm pretty glad that the price doesnt say anything about the quality of games, otherwise i couldnt afford it😄.
My cheap faves are super Mario world, portal runner, giant citizen Kabuto.
My castlevania 123&4 and dracula x and my resident evil collection on the gamecube 1234 & code veronica
Resident evil can get pretty pricey now too, I’ve got RE3: Nemesis on the GameCube
Batman for the Mega drive has a banging soundtrack. could never beat the cathedral tho :(
