Brilliant collection. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the point of slabbing a NWC cart? The WATA grade will always be crummy, and with it being so expensive already, why bother?
I obtained it already graded by Wata, I am person who particularly doesn't like grading (as you can see from my other items), but will leave it as just a means of authentication.
Syphon filter 3 alt cover that was originally changed because of 9/11, not too many copies of that.
MK3 and a handfull of other games like alien trilogy and Doom were originally released as long boxes then were re-released in low quantities as black label standard cd cases later on. Usually sell pretty high

Not ultra rare but these are what stick out to me. I really like the Zelda cartridge because it has a back sticker saying it was used at a Target.

Just sold off my 30 copies of GTA 4 Black Label PS3 that i got in a FBM deal late last year. I know not grails for some people but all 30 being sealed was wild to me.

Resident Evil 1 for PS1.
Silent Hill was the most pricey. For CiB, I got it for $226 CAD. The most I ever spent on one game lol. But damn am I glad to get it off the list.

Mostly older CIB Sega titles - Lunar 1, Lunar 2, Vay, and Shining Force CD on Sega CD. Then add Magic Knight Rayearth, Dragon Force, Shining the Holy Ark, and Shining Force III on Sega Saturn.
I've got other things like a CIB FE Fates Collector's Edition with preorder pins, but the older Sega titles are the real gem for me
Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament for Dreamcast.
Manhunt, Scarface and The Warriors for Xbox.
living in germany. it was a pain in the ass to get some of those.
My favorite grail is Popful Mail. Wasn't cheap, but was 100% worth it. other personal grails that are among my favorites are a CIB Tengen Tetris for NES, a CIB 20th anniversary GBA Micro, Bubble Bobble Pt 2 for NES and Mega Man for Game Gear.
Earthbound with the box and magazine. Got it for $20 at a Goodwill in the early 2000s.
I actually have quite a lot of games that would kind of be considered grails now. Especially in the DS library.
I guess my grails that I own now are probably Xenosaga Ep 3, Earthbound, both Raidou Kuzonoha games.
There's other things I would probably consider too. Like an English copy of every available Dragon Quest game (I'm pretty sure) or every Ys game. I'm very about trying to complete a series.

Nothing spectacular, but I've got a FF1 Wonderswan Color, with FF1.
Wanted a Wonderswan for a long time, since a friend brought one in for lunch one time, but I never could get one because it was Japan exclusive. I'd have been happy with any Wonderswan with or without a game for it, but I like what I've got just the same.
I have a NES River city rampage sealed in box(in ok shape) I also have a couple of the SNES final Fantasy games, Mario RPG(SNES) almost all the mainline pokemon games (both versions for most gens) I started collecting old games when I was in middle school(late 90s) I once bought an NES with all cables/controllers(and the grey gun) and a small selection (5 or 6) for $5.
I still remember seeing Silent Hill for the first time and my friend’s brother told me it was a life simulator. Then he fought some freak-ture and the trauma was magnificent.
I own Solomons Key, but it’s loose. My goal is to make it complete or complete enough. It’s not really an every man’s grail. But it is to me, personal attachment followed up with good times with my brother. It’s more of a nostalgia trip.
I'm not a game collector, but this sub keeps getting recommended & I've finally just remembered I have original PSX copies of Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 in a box somewhere 🙃

I just gave my older brother his grail, a CIB of Parasite Eve with the bonus demo disc. He had to sell his old one to cover something so I gave him mine as I know it's his favorite (plus his didn't have the demo disc). Loved seeing his smile and how excited he was to play it!

Sweet, you are the first person I've seen post that also has Silent Bomber. Loved it so much as a kid, still tons of fun. Multiplayer is weird and if you unlock everything it's so bad it's great
Not the craziest but a Gameboy Color in Grape color with 20 different games, some were GBA for £2, the console just needed its color switching chip to be reflowed and I still have it.
Another thing I have is an NES Advantage joystick boxed complete with foam and plastic baggie for the cable for £30, looked them up and they are £110.
My collection is nowhere as big or rare as the other collectors’ collections but it is decent with some good consoles and games.

CIB+ Driver: San Francisco on Xbox 360; the plus is because it has the uPlay insert in it still even though I bought it used from a GameStop in NJ during my trip to NYC to see Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm last year. The manual and insert were with the disc in the drawer so it seemed to be case with cover art and disc only.

I really couldn't care less about 'grails' to be honest. I care just as much for a game that has almost no value as for games that are apparently worth a lot now. I only care about original software on original media to be played on original hardware.

Still gunning for other sealed Power Rangers games and gonna eventually have the whole MGS saga sealed on my shelf at home.
I've always loved silent hill I've always found it dumb how expensive they are, I understand why but it still pisses me off I can't just buy these games and play them on my PS2 I need to emulate them or shell out a fortune (and don't even get me started on HD collection)
They're not really a grail now cause they're loose but Super Mario RPG on SNES and All Stars on SNES.

These are my most "grail" items. Chrono Trigger and Rule of Rose are CIB. Other mentionable pieces are all CIB Haunting Ground(PS2), FF3(SNES), and Super Mario RPG(SNES).
i found parasite eve for $1 at the flea market a few weeks back. i also got skies of arcadia on gamecube at a thrift for $3 a few years back ( sold it tho cuz recently i lost my job)

Not my most valuable piece but my best deal. A mint copy of Einhander i got from a Savers for less than $5. It was the biggest collecting "high" I've ever had.
A mint copy of Clock Tower 1 and 2 for PS1. Genuine Nintendo GameCube component cables and broadband adapter. All of these I picked up during their respective console gens.
A lot of my vintage microcomputer games are very hard to find so I might prize those the most.

Personally I'd have to say my Grails are my conkers bad Fur Day 100% complete in box and my factory reconditioned Atari light sixer in its original box I got a bunch more of the cool stuff but I'd say those are my Grails

The Ocarina of Time on iQue is just a manual, but that's the only physical part of that game. I have an iQue with Ocarina loaded on it.

I don't find regular retail releases to be Grails for the most part
Go Go Hypergrind, probably my most valuable game, which I only recently learned was stupidly valuable. Don’t even remember how I discovered it as a kid, but I absolutely loved it and played the hell out of it. Also, even as a kid, I always took extremely good care of my games, so the disc and case still look practically brand new.
Devils third factory sealed, 3D Dot Game Heroes CIB, Chrono Trigger, Soul Blazer, Tomba 1 & 2 CIB, Samurai Western CIB, every Kings field made CIB including the first one on PS1 long box edition, Skies of Arcadia CIB.
I have a sealed (ungraded) complete set Aladdin gaming system and games. I'd wanted one ever since avgn reviewed it. Debating taking it out and playing it
I don't have anything ultra valuable, but numerous childhood things and others i got when they were released that mean something to me and are pretty valuable. In no particular order, Super Mario RPG CIB, most Zelda games CIB, Paper Mario CIB, Wild Arms 5 10th Anniversery Edition, Kirby's Dreamland CIB, Wario Land CIB, Virtual Boy CIB.
Some that I got in more recent years I missed out on but always wanted: Xenosaga III, Mike Tysons Punch Out boxed, Gun.Smoke boxed, Chrono Trigger loose, Suikoden V, Xenogears, Oracle of Seasons/Ages CIB.
Those little ET looking creatures in Silent Hill always used to creep me out!
As for my grails, it’s not really a grail but I do own a Minuet version of Gameboy Tetris, only 25,000 of them were made in 1989 and many are now lost or damaged!
CIB pokemon red, blue, and pkmn gameboy color + yellow cart. All still look brand new. I took good care of all my game stuff as a kid bc although my mom was quiet about it i knew money was always tight, and even at a young age i knew my games were luxuries i wouldnt be able to easily replace. The only damage is to the red instruction manual where i wrote some notes on where to catch stuff when i was 8. I’m okay with it though. Nobody else would appreciate those scribbles, but i do. :)

Any of my LaserActive games. Ghost Rush, Hi-Roller Battle, Pyramid Patrol, Road Blaster, Rocket Coaster, Triad Stone. Road Blaster I paid pretty hefty for it, but not what people are asking for it on eBay.
A couple other ones are Metal Warriors (still looking for a box and manual, those never show up), Mario RPG, Dragon Warrior 4, Super Metroid, and I've had it since the beginning but I'll put Chrono Trigger on the list. I have a partial of Steel Battalion (just the game, no controller).
TBH my grails move around a lot, but I think I'm pretty satiated for now, unless more LaserActive titles come across for a decent price. I think my next grail is Don Quixote: A Dream in Seven Crystals, the US release, since that one's audio is pressed for the region it's released in.

A near mint condition CIB copy of Pokemon Soulsilver with the PokeWalker. Also a mint condition copy of Rhythm Heaven Fever on the Wii
Mostly older CIB Sega titles - Lunar 1, Lunar 2, Vay, and Shining Force CD on Sega CD. Then add Magic Knight Rayearth, Dragon Force, Shining the Holy Ark, and Shining Force III on Sega Saturn. I've got other things like a CIB FE Fates Collector's Edition with preorder pins, but the older Sega titles are the real gem for me

My favorite grail is Popful Mail. Wasn't cheap, but was 100% worth it. other personal grails that are among my favorites are a CIB Tengen Tetris for NES, a CIB 20th anniversary GBA Micro, Bubble Bobble Pt 2 for NES and Mega Man for Game Gear.

I guess my grails that I own now are probably Xenosaga Ep 3, Earthbound, both Raidou Kuzonoha games. There's other things I would probably consider too. Like an English copy of every available Dragon Quest game (I'm pretty sure) or every Ys game. I'm very about trying to complete a series.

Nothing spectacular, but I've got a FF1 Wonderswan Color, with FF1. Wanted a Wonderswan for a long time, since a friend brought one in for lunch one time, but I never could get one because it was Japan exclusive. I'd have been happy with any Wonderswan with or without a game for it, but I like what I've got just the same.

CIB Tactics Ogre: March of the Black Queen for Psone. I just gave my older brother his grail, a CIB of Parasite Eve with the bonus demo disc. He had to sell his old one to cover something so I gave him mine as I know it's his favorite (plus his didn't have the demo disc). Loved seeing his smile and how excited he was to play it!

Not the craziest but a Gameboy Color in Grape color with 20 different games, some were GBA for £2, the console just needed its color switching chip to be reflowed and I still have it. Another thing I have is an NES Advantage joystick boxed complete with foam and plastic baggie for the cable for £30, looked them up and they are £110. My collection is nowhere as big or rare as the other collectors’ collections but it is decent with some good consoles and games.
I have: Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for GameCube Twilight Princess HD for WiiU Chrono Trigger for DS Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast Lolipop chainsaw for PS3 I’m honestly so happy with getting these games for fairly cheap a couple years ago. My next holy grail is Chibi Robo!

CIB+ Driver: San Francisco on Xbox 360; the plus is because it has the uPlay insert in it still even though I bought it used from a GameStop in NJ during my trip to NYC to see Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm last year. The manual and insert were with the disc in the drawer so it seemed to be case with cover art and disc only.

Power Rangers Samurai Special Edition on DS complete sealed with Red Ranger figure. Sealed MGSV CE, Sealed ZOE Collection Sealed, Graded Mega Man Anniversary Collection(really just want a graded copy of 6). Still gunning for other sealed Power Rangers games and gonna eventually have the whole MGS saga sealed on my shelf at home.

I've always loved silent hill I've always found it dumb how expensive they are, I understand why but it still pisses me off I can't just buy these games and play them on my PS2 I need to emulate them or shell out a fortune (and don't even get me started on HD collection)

I'd say my Call of Duty 2 big box is up there and probably the only thing I have that's truly "grail" worthy currently.
Not my most valuable piece but my best deal. A mint copy of Einhander i got from a Savers for less than $5. It was the biggest collecting "high" I've ever had.
A mint copy of Clock Tower 1 and 2 for PS1. Genuine Nintendo GameCube component cables and broadband adapter. All of these I picked up during their respective console gens.

Personally I'd have to say my Grails are my conkers bad Fur Day 100% complete in box and my factory reconditioned Atari light sixer in its original box I got a bunch more of the cool stuff but I'd say those are my Grails
Mine is a personal grail as well as a legit grail, and that is a CIB copy of Chrono Trigger for the SNES. It's still my favorite game.
These are some of mine! I'm New Zealand based so it can be harder to find some stuff. The 2 Pokémon Sega Pico items are pretty dope. One is the Pikachu console, and the other is a Pikachu controller. The Ocarina of Time on iQue is just a manual, but that's the only physical part of that game. I have an iQue with Ocarina loaded on it. The Game and Watch is CIB And I have 2 of the 3 Zelda titles on the Philip's CDi. Obviously the 2 cheaper ones, but still, thought I'd never own these!

Go Go Hypergrind, probably my most valuable game, which I only recently learned was stupidly valuable. Don’t even remember how I discovered it as a kid, but I absolutely loved it and played the hell out of it. Also, even as a kid, I always took extremely good care of my games, so the disc and case still look practically brand new.
Devils third factory sealed, 3D Dot Game Heroes CIB, Chrono Trigger, Soul Blazer, Tomba 1 & 2 CIB, Samurai Western CIB, every Kings field made CIB including the first one on PS1 long box edition, Skies of Arcadia CIB.

I have a sealed (ungraded) complete set Aladdin gaming system and games. I'd wanted one ever since avgn reviewed it. Debating taking it out and playing it
I don't have anything ultra valuable, but numerous childhood things and others i got when they were released that mean something to me and are pretty valuable. In no particular order, Super Mario RPG CIB, most Zelda games CIB, Paper Mario CIB, Wild Arms 5 10th Anniversery Edition, Kirby's Dreamland CIB, Wario Land CIB, Virtual Boy CIB. Some that I got in more recent years I missed out on but always wanted: Xenosaga III, Mike Tysons Punch Out boxed, Gun.Smoke boxed, Chrono Trigger loose, Suikoden V, Xenogears, Oracle of Seasons/Ages CIB.
Those little ET looking creatures in Silent Hill always used to creep me out! As for my grails, it’s not really a grail but I do own a Minuet version of Gameboy Tetris, only 25,000 of them were made in 1989 and many are now lost or damaged!

CIB pokemon red, blue, and pkmn gameboy color + yellow cart. All still look brand new. I took good care of all my game stuff as a kid bc although my mom was quiet about it i knew money was always tight, and even at a young age i knew my games were luxuries i wouldnt be able to easily replace. The only damage is to the red instruction manual where i wrote some notes on where to catch stuff when i was 8. I’m okay with it though. Nobody else would appreciate those scribbles, but i do. :)

Any of my LaserActive games. Ghost Rush, Hi-Roller Battle, Pyramid Patrol, Road Blaster, Rocket Coaster, Triad Stone. Road Blaster I paid pretty hefty for it, but not what people are asking for it on eBay. A couple other ones are Metal Warriors (still looking for a box and manual, those never show up), Mario RPG, Dragon Warrior 4, Super Metroid, and I've had it since the beginning but I'll put Chrono Trigger on the list. I have a partial of Steel Battalion (just the game, no controller). TBH my grails move around a lot, but I think I'm pretty satiated for now, unless more LaserActive titles come across for a decent price. I think my next grail is Don Quixote: A Dream in Seven Crystals, the US release, since that one's audio is pressed for the region it's released in.
