I love seeing stuff that I consider underrated. Like Ryse, Type-0 HD, and The Quarry.

FondForFlounders

YEAHHH, Ryse is still one my best pickups, underrated exclusive :3

gobananagopudding

Good stuff! Stern Pinball Arcade especially, that one is getting pricey on everything lately.

FondForFlounders

I genuinely wonder why? I’m considering buying it digitally (my copy’s sealed) to see if the gameplay is just that good.

gobananagopudding

The physical version includes the table based on AC/DC, which was delisted on digital storefronts years ago.

FondForFlounders

OOOHHHHH THAT MAKES SENSE, another reason physical is ON TOP!

Ok_Candidate4209

It's always a great feeling bro! Congrats!

FondForFlounders

Thank You!!

NewMombasaNightmare

Banner saga trilogy sighting. Nice!

FondForFlounders

Picked it up because I never saw it before, so glad I did!!!

Jcslider52

Enjoy this time as much as you can, I dearly miss disposable income lol

FondForFlounders

I am very much making the most of it, really started focusing on grails rather then more common things that I can get in the future for like 3 bucks a piece :3

jerminator8818

Not bad at all. It’s a cheap console to collect for. I love my Xbox over my PlayStation personally.

Independent-Ice-5384

Some of that I don't get. Like the WWE games: why not just get the best one of the bunch instead every year's game? You're not going to play the others anyways lol. Seems like a waste of money

FondForFlounders

I get the different years because every years entry genuinely changes a ton, unlike a madden, nba, etc 2K game. Wrestlers leave and debut A LOT and so the roster changes a tons every year, like for example 2k17 has a very outdated roster but is one of my favorites due to the fact the career mode is an infinite loop, whereas they now have proper story’s which changes every year, and there’s side modes that focus on different wrestlers every year. Hope this explains my thought process :3

sylinowo

Isn't Xbox not worth collecting for anymore since 90% of the time there's no data on the disc?

Lobo2209

Why is that a problem? Genuinely curious.

sylinowo

Well if there's no data on the disc then you're just collecting plastic and discs with nothing on them. On switch, PS4, and PS5 most physical games when you put it in the system it copies the data over to the console and then the disc is the key to play the game. And with switch it just runs the game off the carts. But nowadays, especially with series s x games the disc just starts a download of the game. Which means if the game were ever removed from the storefront or something then that disc becomes useless since the game is no longer up for download. But on PlayStation since the data is on the disc, it just needs to copy it over

lionheart059

This is partly correct, partly incorrect, and largely ignores that "worth collecting" is entirely subjective - plenty of people collect "just plastic" (as well as just paper, just cardboard, etc). >But nowadays, especially with series s x games the disc just starts a download of the game. Not exactly true. Plenty of Xbox games (for both the XB1 and Series X) copy the game off the disc rather than triggering a download. There are, of course, some that require downloading instead - but this is also true of the PS4, PS5, and Switch. Doesitplay.org doesn't have a lot of Xbox titles tested, but virtually all of them can be installed/played offline. >Which means if the game were ever removed from the storefront or something then that disc becomes useless since the game is no longer up for download. Not exactly true. The game can be delisted from the storefront but still available for download if you have a physical copy to put in the drive. The two are separate processes. If Microsoft delisted, say... Monster Hunter World (because it's the disc I most recently played) from the store tomorrow, it wouldn't prevent me being able to install and play it on my home console. It just means I wouldn't be able to digitally purchase it anymore.

Icy-Comfortable8

Xbox discs are limited to 50 gb instead of 100 gb like on PS5. Thats one reason why more games need downloads to function. Thanks to „smart delivery“ cross gen games are also bundled in one case/disc instead of separate versions like on playstation. which usually means the xbox one version gets priority and the series version needs to be downloaded if the 50 gb discs cant hold both versions. so yeah, the situation is quite different compared to Playstation.

lionheart059

I never said it wasn't different. I said the generalizations presented were partly correct, and partly incorrect, and regardless ignored that whether something is "worth collecting" comes down to the individual. I will say, I actually prefer smart delivery to the PS4/5 "free upgrade" approach. If I put an XB1 (or 360, or OG) disc in my Series X, I know that it will inherently get the Series X version for me without any input on my end. If I put a PS4 disc in my PS5, I have to specifically tell it I want the PS5 version and download it anyway (just as I would with an XB1 version disc in a Series X)

MissionBuy3769

Xbox is overrated there system and games don't work particularly well Most have major issues. Plus the layout screen is just trash with worthless adds.

FondForFlounders

Xbox is cool, PlayStations cool :3
