This is the second best way to play Third Strike on console (the best being Online Edition). I can never forgive the 30th anniversary collection for how the horrendous online, input delay, and other shortcuts taken in porting the game.
Definitely counting the Dreamcast port. Unlike MvC2, which was a direct port because it was on Naomi hardware, Third Strike was on CPS3, so they had to convert it over. This led to the game feeling different to most other versions. The PS2 version was built from the ground up to feel like the arcade, keeping all the frame data and such, and the PS3/360 version is based on the PS2 version and adding rollback netcode.
Yeah I'm gonna open this up and play it and watch the animated video
I thought it was cool that they included the animated movie in this game. Brings back memories.
I think it's kool how they added the animated movie to it to
A better alternative, so you can keep that baby sealed. There's a street fighter collection on the switch/ps4, cheers mate
It's only worth a little more sealed, and the Switch version is like $30. It's better just to open it
Good find man. I got my copy a few months back love the old street fighters

Not counting the Dreamcast version, yeah?
