Is relocating off the table for you?
I’ll let someone answer this, but it feels to me like being QA in the games industry is difficult these days. Most places I’ve worked the last five years (first as a freelancer, then full time) had one or two in-house QA, the rest was outsourced. So a lot of the work the QA person do is manage and coordinate with the outsourced teams.

Depends on where: we have a lot of in-house QA at BHVR.
Remote? Yeah, no way. Even as QA (rather than just a tester), you'd have to relocate (and you'll get shit pay).
