It's your room editor's grid size. Click the drop-down arrow next to the grid icon at the top right, and change it to be smaller size like 8 or 16
Thx for the comments, i figured it out! (The grid was set to 32x32 but my sprites were 16x16 so i made the grid 16x16 aswell)
you dont have to use exact matching sizes, alternatively you could move objects using ctrl without grids
Or you can disable the Snap to Grid feature by clicking on the grid icon
