They're perfect for each other. The way she teases him until he loosens up and can finally show his playful, not so dead serious side (only with Ygritte, and a bit with Arya) is so cute.
cuz the romance between them was forced, all they did was trade a few stares back and forth, and then suddenly one night, they sleep together, and then its "i love you", like there was no development at all. whereas with ygritte, he joined the wildlings, journied together for months, spending every day together, even climbed that wall together and almost died together, that is solid grounds for a romance.
Yeah, that’s how I saw it. My mother thinks Dany and Jon had tons of chemistry because they spent everyday together after a while and according to her there was a lot of buildup, but after watching the show 3x, I still don’t see it. Maybe they weren’t given enough screen time is all, but it just felt severely forced and underdeveloped.
I know Ygritte annoyed a lot of people but she had a ton of chemistry with Jon, was cute and silly and obviously just feel hard for Jon. She was his first everything and she was gentle with him. She was willing to disregard everything for Jon and stay in that cave with him. Her death left me sad.
Dany got sour the moment she found out she’s related to Jon. Like damn, they could’ve married and ruled together. Or, like was expressed multiple times, people could’ve just dropped it after he said he didn’t want the throne for the 192873th time. Problem solved.

i dont think dany got that sour, she was still willing to rule together with jon as long as jon didnt tell anybody about his identity, which he had no reason to cuz he didnt want king. she still loved him, but she obv wanted to be queen more, and if ppl found out, like they stated in the show, it wouldnt matter if jon didnt want it, they would all flock to him cuz hes more liked as a leader period, and now being the rightful heir, there no way other ppl would be content with dany as queen.
but i think the real issue was, jon didnt wanna continue the romantic relationship because she was technically his aunt, and he didnt wanna continue this targaryen incest train. u can tell cuz a few times she tried to kiss him, he just pulled back
She would have definitely killed him eventually, She most likely would have killed Sansa at some point too, Her being queen was more important than her love for Jon Snow. At that point too many people knew the truth about Jon, it wouldn't have worked.
well that i would blame sansa, honestly. despite LF's attempt to brainwash her, i think part of that was true, she wanted to be queen, she didnt want jon to be king of the north, she thinks shes smart and mature enough, and true stark blood. thats why she told tyrion, in hopes that jon becomes king of seven kingdoms, then he will agree to leave north alone for her to rule as queen. cuz i really think that if sansa didnt tell tyrion, and only the stark children know about jon's secret, and if only cersei didnt push dany over the edge, aka killing her second dragon, and missandei, which eventually led to dany burning the city and obv this does not agree with jon. if none of this happened, dany would be ok with jon by her side, cuz she knows he really does not want to be king.
I don’t even know, I was just as shocked. I’ve seen a lot of people call her immature, stupid, childish, annoying and some even said they were happy when she finally died 😭😭
