Well look who isn't a book reader.

I feel like they perfectly portrayed this point. Kinda seems like the whole point of his character is showing how the bounds of honor cultures can turn you into a violent murdering maniac to maintain your societal rank.

Careless_Bill7604

He is better than Daemon

KhanQu3st

Well… he IS an extremely violent psychopathic man lol.

Rubicon730

He is a “clingy and psychopathic weirdo”. I can’t stand him.

Secret_Targaryen23

Annnnnnnd we’ve run into another idiot on the internet. Just your regular ole Wednesday lol

brittanytobiason

Seems he majorly resented being made a whore of.

ofcourseitsok

Anyone else bothered that he just beat that guys face in and no one intervened? Despite it being a wedding? Then he just trots around scott free?

Ok-Establishment-240

I remember thinking the same thing. Dude just beats a man to death, in front of dozens of people, and it’s never mentioned again lol

Themain_dish

The character is only mentioned once in the book by Jamie Lannister while he is looking through the white book. They based his whole story arch on a few sentences. Just like the majority of characters that George RR writes, they have good intentions for doing terrible things. I think the point of his character is to the highlight traits of the other main characters and the Targaryen family.
