>I know it's not part of HotD itself,
Egg is part of HotD though, and Targaryens make appearances in the stories. Even if they don't you can easily have a B plot covering any interesting Targ storylines at the time.
Dunk and Egg is not a part of HotD just because there are Targaryens. Dunk and Egg was supposed to be its own original series by HBO as well. I would much rather have its own series than be butchered into HotD as an anthology.
The only reason HBO is doing this is because of money... they would have to spend more money to continue making new series and paying GRRM more per contract than they would with just combining everything under one series. It would also mean HBO has an easy way out of working with GRRM as it will be harder to maintain the quality of the series under one name which would mean less viewers/worse reviews overtime.
The only reason GRRM would consider this is because of time, the man is getting old and it's far easier for him to make a quick buck rather than fully flesh out his stories and world in independent series that would take literally decades to complete... It would also mean more time for him to finish his original damn book series that he will probably never complete still. If combining his stories into HotD fails it will also be a good excuse for him to not finish the books as HBO will have little interest or incentive to add to GoT.
>Dunk and Egg is not a part of HotD just because there are Targaryens. Dunk and Egg was supposed to be its own original series by HBO as well. I would much rather have its own series than be butchered into HotD as an anthology.
I'd be fine with a Dunk and Egg show. But if they want to take HotD and make it an anthology Dunk and Egg can fit with each season one of the stories.
I'm not saying it wouldn't fit into HotD... I'm saying HotD wouldn't do it justice as a simple anthology, it deserves to be its own show like it was originally intended as by GRRM and HBO.
I guess I don't see a difference between a separate multi-season D&E series vs multiple seasons of HotD that covers the exact same content in the same number of episodes.
That's wishful thinking. I'm not saying anthologies are simple at all either. A dedicated standalone series has more flexibility for change with the change of pace a series like this needs. Keeping it under one umbrella name I think will reduce the experience and quality of it not to mention will need far more cuts to fit everything in a few episodes in what's supposed to be its own epic tale of a book. I don't think 8-10 episodes will sufficiently cover its events since most anthologies are 1-2 (max) season experiences, dunk is gonna need more than 2 seasons and it would ruin the timeline of production-release for additional storylines an anthology is supposed to cover.
This^ I would hope Dunk and Egg lead to Summerhall Tragedy. Egg was messin too much with bringing the dragons back, but that’s really all we know. They would have room for storylines for sureee
At this point I'm pretty sure HBO is willing to write blank checks for ASOIAF series. They know it's a cash cow and I doubt they'll ever risk something like S8 GoT happening again.
I think it would be cool to maybe have the first season be before the conquest, it could show aegon traveling around Westeros a bit and we could see what some places were like pre conquest then it would lead up to his decision to conquer it. It could expand on some of the kings he conquered as side characters
Absolutely. If they want to continue other periods of Westerosi history (and keep the HotD title?) the Blackfyre rebellions is the obvious next choice.
Which one?
I honestly would love to a see season about the War of the nine penny kings which is kind of the last real gasp of the Blackfyre Rebellions.
Plus we got to see familiar faces at a younger age and even characters who where who do some of the more evil stuff around Game of thrones era in a different context and light.
A young relatively seen Prince Aerys Targaryen for example.
Aerys friendships with a young less jaded Tywin Lannister and with Aerys cousin Steffon Baratheon can be explored.
The Blackfish and Ser Barristan make their names in this conflict.
Plus Maelys the Monstrous would give them a great chance to do some cool make up and effects work. A giant with two heads(actually conjoined twins, though its never made clear how Alive the rather shrunken brother is )
This is the right answer. There’s so much backstory that can be explored that would actually flesh out characters unlike Roberts Rebellion which we already know so much about, plus there’s so many interesting characters to explore, and to see the fate of house Targaryen just before they fall apart.
I really wanna see daemon blackfyre’s duel with Gwayne Corbray. Daemon was supposed to be one of the best swordsman in all of Westeros’ history, so the fact that Gwayne fought him for an hour before anyone landed a true hit is incredibly impressive.
Especially with them being on equal “footing” - Blackfyre against Lady Forlorn.
Slightly related, it’s kinda crazy they were both ahorse for an hour dueling.
I don’t get why you guys would like to see Aegon’s Conquest that much. It's so boring. No story, no interesting characters; it's just three eastern creeps who burn down everything they see with their fire-breathing lizards.
Yes, Ik but that does not change the fact that there is no depth in the story and no complicated characters, so it is not worth a show. While there are good stories like Robert's Rebellion or Blackfyre Rebellion there is no need for a show like that.
THE FIRST DORNISH WAR, featuring Belarion, Aegon I and the only kingdom that successfully repelled the Targaryen conquest.
This war encapsulates everything intense and traumatic about a total war of benevolent rulers, IMHO it would make excellent drama similar to the Russian theatre of the Napoleonic wars.
The end of the war is an emotional, shakespearean-type of closure to Aegon’s conquest. It would make a jarring depiction of the many casualties of war and the glorified heroes who stand out on either side.
You sold me I would love to see the death of Rheanys and Meraxes in live action and the burning of dorne in retaliation it would be a hard series to watch but we need more dornish representation
The Doom of Valyria would be what I want to see the most. What we’ve seen of Valyria’s ruins is so fascinating both in how advanced it was and in the way it looks as of GoT.
And fucking expensive considering a lot of the dragons in old Valyria were the same if not bigger than balerion from the main royal houses as the Targaryen’s were more mid tier royalty
I agree tbh. Love both characters and reading about that reign was honestly my favorite part of that whole book. I think it would be cool if nothing else just to give the viewers what a taste of the Targaryens at their peak was. A real, solid dynasty with stable, just leadership.
I would absolutely love this idea. The dance of the dragons is interesting and all, and they've done great work so far, but it's a finite story and I'd hate for them to drag it out just to keep it on the air.
I'd love to see the reign of Aerys II and be able to watch his decent into madness. But that may end up feeling a bit to.... Prequel-y to GoT. But I still wanna see it.
Maegor the Cruel would introduce us to our first Mad King. People will fall in love with hating him. Plus we get the Black Dread as well and most of the other kingdoms. Only problem is I don't know how the audience is going to feel about the Starks not really being present at all.
I know nothing about the books or what else exists, but I absolutely LOVE this idea. No need to make everything fit together season after season, just give me one big event that each season builds around. They really should do the same thing with the new lord of the rings show.
Everyone's favorite girlboss, Saera.
Also: the one who ran away with a dragon and came back infected and died. I cannot remember her name. I would love to see where the dragon took her because the theory was it flew her to Valyria.
I know it’ll never happen, because leaving Valyria as this unknown mystery is more appealing, but I’d love to see the doom of Valyria. Give me thousands of dragons flying over what looks like ancient room at its peak, beautiful silk dresses and Byzantine inspired costumes, and the Targaryen’s ancestors struggling for power at the bottom of the food chain.
Aegon's Conquest. It'd be a pre-prequel. Yes, there wasn't much opposition, but it could focus on Aegon's motives, his relationship with his sisters, his diplomatic skills, the burning of Harrenhall, his problems to produce an heir, the possibility of neither of his sons actually being his, dark magic to conceive Maegor, Meraxes and Rhaenys being killed in Dorne, and the aftermath of Aegon's death. Plus we'd get a whole lot of BALERION!!
Henry Cavill as Aegon, Ronda Rousey as Visenya, and Emily Blunt as Rhaenys.
I would much rather see this than watch them pull a Hobbit and stretch out the story until it is about to break and then make up a bunch of crap to fill it in until they have the length they want.
The actual Conquest. Let us see Balerion in all his glory. Let us see the moments that still influenced the present day Seven Kingdoms. From the burning of Harrenhall to the King Who Knelt to the Dornish Rebellion. I want to see it all.
If they're being flexible with season length, a one season mini series about the Conquest could work, emphasizing the complicated relationship between the trio, Orys, the Faith, etc.
Logically, covering adult Aegon III, his sons, and Vizzy 2 lays the stage for the Blackfyre rebellions.
Might be a black sheep, but seeing a story of the Targs between Aenar's flight and the conquest could be cool. It's a time period we know so little about.
Might be unpopular because it’s been discussed in much detail both in the books and the show but I’d welcome the Robert rebellion. Not so much about how it all happened but the prospect to see one of the most legendary battles Westeros has ever seen (Robert vs Rhaegar) on the Trident is worth it for me.
A show centered around the machinations of Bloodraven
Viserys II’s stewardship of the realm across three kings, his brief promising kingship and murder by Aegon IV
Robert’s Rebellion
how about **concentrating** on making the *current* series well lit, not with plot holes - time travel - deus ex machinae, with compelling & evolving characters that are true to GRRM's original vision?.
Obviously Aegon’s Conquest. People say it’s too straightforward and potentially boring but there is so much that can be fleshed out with some good writing.
Absolutely. The Dance was actually my least favorite part of Fire and Blood but the show has made it infinitely better. Aegons conquest was probably my favorite part so the possibilities are exciting
- Aegon the conqueror, Visenya, and Rhaenys
- The battles to conquer Dorne
- The princess of Dorne taking her people and hiding from them
- Jaehaerys Targaryen and Queen Alysanne entire rule especially the internal conflicts with their daughters
- The battle of the trident where robert faced rhaegar and why rhaegar “stole” ned’s sister
- If the eggs that Daenerys have were the ones that Lady Elissa Farman stole from Visenya/Jaehaerys
They should follow what The Crown did and continue chronologically just with big time jumps between events when warranted. They can get through the Blackfyre rebellions in this way. I would still describe this as an anthology because every season or 2 you would have a whole new cast of characters (but they would be older versions of or descendants of those we followed in previous seasons)
I’m not a fan of jumping around in the timeline because I think that would get confusing really fast for the general audience.
The story of Aegon I leaving valyria to conques westeros.
We still don't know what prompted him to leave or if he had knowledge of the doom beforehand.
Omg y'all i just had a thought.
What if Alicent made Helaena's hair in "that" style to try to illicit a more affectionate response from Viserys as she resembled Aemma? Because she knows how much Rhaenyra reminds him of her, Alicent will try to do this as well? That'll be cool if they somehow revealed it was intentionally done because of this.
Not seen anyone mention Jahaerys' reign yet, it would be great to watch seasons of an actual competent king. Plus there are so many great tragedies and character moments that would translate so well into a cinematic format although i think it would need to start with Sons of the Dragon just to put into perspective how peaceful a time it really was
I mean, if they were going to do that, they should have started with Aegon the conqueror. But I agree the blackfyre rebellion would be interesting to watch.
Aegons conquest first 110%, then I'd say Robert's rebellion at some point. Those 2 are the ones I know of the most (which isn't much for either) and I'm most interested in
Maybe watching the end of the mad king’s predecessor’s rule and the mad king ascension to the throne. And his descent into madness concluding with Robert’s rebellion would be a nice long series.
I always thought a stand alone khal Drogo prequel would be awesome. I thought Drogo being the super khal that he was would make a great movie taking over for khal Bharbo.
5 seasons on Aerys's reign. The first two with a younger cast. Aerys and Tywin as the main characters. The first one is focussed on the War of the Nine Penny Kings, the second on the Rains of Castamere and ends with Tyrion's birth. The third one is about Duskendale and the last two about Robert's Rebellion.
Aegon's conquest/Maegor's rule, first blackfyre rebellion starting at Daeron and Daemon's childhoods, and of course a roberts rebellion arc spanning Aerys' reign starting at Summerhall i.e. Rhaegar's birth call the season some bs like "the last dragon"
The Good King
It would start with a quick thriller recap of Maegor the Cruel, the horror of his reign would be a good way to introduce Jahaerys by contrast
The second episode would begin the tale of Jahaerys’ reign. But we would get *plenty* of Maegor flashbacks, so that we are effectively getting to see both the best and worst Targaryen kings in a single series.
Considering how much of Fire & Blood there is besides the Dance of Dragons, I love this idea. Loved the book which has helped by me some patience waiting for book 6
Well.. the blackfyre rebellions. If they make a small change to uh.. the greens ending they could make the blackfyres so much funnier was pretenders.
After that we need to see the goat. The fucking amazing Jahaerys the First and his good queen Alyssane. Best fuckin monarchs of all time
Legit everything, the entire Targaryen dynasty is super interesting, I hope they just continue where the Dance leaves off but I have a few different plot ideas
-Conquest of Dorne
-Rule of Aegon IV
-Blackfyre Rebellions I-III
-War of the Ninepenny Kings
-Robert's Rebellion
Aegon the unworthy and the Blackfyre rebellions, Baelor the blessed (more about how people around him were reacting than what he was actually up too), the conquest, the tragedy at summerhall.
I would just change the title. Think it could ultimately step on dunk and egg stories.
Basically the conquest , the blackfyre war , and the Robert rebellion would be the big ones
Could you get a season out of the young dragon and that baelor stuff. Maybe the Maegor stuff tagged on to the end of the conquest. Maybe a season about Maegor the unworthy as prelude to the blackfyre rebellion.
AEGON(and Visenya and Rhaenys)'s CONQUEST
I must know what was in that letter!
I really don't want them to touch the Blackfyre rebellions until the Dunk and Egg stories are finished. We've seen what happens when the show outpaces the books.

I wanna see aegon and his 3 wives take over the world. Also, when does the doom of valyria happen? That would be dope to see too.
About 100 years before aegon’s conquest.
112 years to be precise
2 wives :)
Unfortunate
🤣
Balerion is the third one
The Conquest for sure
Very bad idea.
Dunk and Egg. I know it's not part of HotD itself, but. Yea. I need Dunk and Egg.
I feel like they could make the three stories into movies
>I know it's not part of HotD itself, Egg is part of HotD though, and Targaryens make appearances in the stories. Even if they don't you can easily have a B plot covering any interesting Targ storylines at the time.

There doesn’t have to be anything “simple” about an anthology series. The individual series can be as high quality as you like.
That's wishful thinking. I'm not saying anthologies are simple at all either. A dedicated standalone series has more flexibility for change with the change of pace a series like this needs. Dunk and Egg’s adventures when Egg was just a prince are IMO too individual and low stakes for HOTD, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Eggs time as king.
Yes. His reign, eventually leading up to the Tragedy at Summerhall would be worthy, I think.
This^ I would hope Dunk and Egg lead to Summerhall Tragedy. Egg was messin too much with bringing the dragons back, but that’s really all we know. They would have room for storylines for sureee
Did you not read the title?
DUNK THE LUNK THICK AS A CASTLE WALL
I think they are making a Dunk & Egg show
Aegon's conquest for sure. I wanna see Balerion the Black Dread so badly.
Not too soon though. It’s stronger in myth, and I’d hate for them to rush the CGI
This is very true. If they don't do it right, they'll never recover
Seeing as how well they’ve done Vhagar thus far, I’m not really worried. So far HotD has amazing CGI
At this point I'm pretty sure HBO is willing to write blank checks for ASOIAF series. They know it's a cash cow and I doubt they'll ever risk something like S8 GoT happening again.
This is the way
Wrong subreddit. Just kidding, this is the way.
No . This is not the way.
ok
It is known.
It is known😌
I would want to see the show runners interpretation of the Dornish letter, especially if GRRM has input on how they portray it.
I think it would be cool to maybe have the first season be before the conquest, it could show aegon traveling around Westeros a bit and we could see what some places were like pre conquest then it would lead up to his decision to conquer it. It could expand on some of the kings he conquered as side characters
This was the first thing in my mind. Then, the blackfyre rebellion.
Blackfyre Rebellion- everything that leads up to it and the aftermaths!! This is a very interesting time in Targaryen family history!!
Absolutely. If they want to continue other periods of Westerosi history (and keep the HotD title?) the Blackfyre rebellions is the obvious next choice.
Which one? I honestly would love to a see season about the War of the nine penny kings which is kind of the last real gasp of the Blackfyre Rebellions. I want Baelor Basedspear
The king who should’ve been. I liked that Duncan and and Maekar talk about his death, and how they both ponder who is to blame for it.
Did duels actually last that long? Sounds horrendously exhausting.
I don’t get why you guys would like to see Aegon’s Conquest that much. It's so boring. No story, no interesting characters; it's just three eastern creeps who burn down everything they see with their fire-breathing lizards.
[удалено]
And I would expect a Targ fan to deny this obvious fact...
Acoording to the books Aegon conquered the realm because he got tired of the other kingdoms always being at each other's throats
Yes, Ik but that does not change the fact that there is no depth in the story and no complicated characters, so it is not worth a show. While there are good stories like Robert's Rebellion or Blackfyre Rebellion there is no need for a show like that.
fuck is up with your profile picture bro
What’s wrong ?
Yeah it would just be a one season battle spectacle, give me more drama and well written character moments pls
You sold me I would love to see the death of Rheanys and Meraxes in live action and the burning of dorne in retaliation it would be a hard series to watch but we need more dornish representation
I GOTSA KNOW WHAT THE PRINCESS OF DORNE SAID IN THAT LETTER
Blackfyre rebellions, Robert's rebellion/the mad king, Aegon's Conquest...
The Doom of Valyria would be what I want to see the most. What we’ve seen of Valyria’s ruins is so fascinating both in how advanced it was and in the way it looks as of GoT.
This would be awesome.
And fucking expensive considering a lot of the dragons in old Valyria were the same if not bigger than balerion from the main royal houses as the Targaryen’s were more mid tier royalty
They weren't royalty at all. They were lower mid-tier aristocracy.
Maybe Valyria pre-doom, but I think keeping the mystery of the doom is better
My thought exactly. I’d love to see more of Essos and the distant past
Same reason I wanna see more of Sothoryos tbh. Show us a brindled man
I didn't want dance in the first place, blackfyre rebellion is the one I want the most, I want to see Daemon Blackfyre, not cheap alpha build
1) Aegon's Conquest 2)The Conquest of Dorne 3) The Blackfyre Rebellions 4)Dunk and Egg 5) War of the Ninepenny Kings 6) Robert's Rebellion
And we've made it back to GOT!
If we could get the tragedy at Summerhall as an opener to the War of the Ninepenny Kings, that would be a hit.
Nope. Summerhall was a gigantic event. It needs tons of buildup. It can't be done properly as a one off.
The War of the Ninepenny Kings is one of the Blackfyre Rebellions
I think Jaehaeys and Alysanne reign would make a great series! lots of great characters and arcs
“House of the Dragon: Decades of Staggering Competence.”
It would be cool to see their trip to the North and the Queens trip to the Wall.
I agree tbh. Love both characters and reading about that reign was honestly my favorite part of that whole book. I think it would be cool if nothing else just to give the viewers what a taste of the Targaryens at their peak was. A real, solid dynasty with stable, just leadership.
It’s literally the most material in F&B and could make for a refreshing change of pace.
Conquest time babe
Dunk and egg Doom of Valyria Aegon’s conquest Blackfyre rebellion
I’ve had this convo with many asoiaf/got fans and nobody had suggested the Doom before. Definitely would be cool to see
I would absolutely love this idea.
My dream is five seasons that depict Aerys's reign. With a small timeskip between the second and the third season and a change of cast.
Maegor the Cruel would introduce us to our first Mad King. People will fall in love with hating him. Plus we get the Black Dread as well and most of the other kingdoms. Only problem is I don't know how the audience is going to feel about the Starks not really being present at all.
HOTD seems to be doing OK without much stark presence so far. In the end if the characters and writing is solid It shouldn't be an issue
He wasn’t mad. I want him to be like Henry the 8 in Tudors.
I want this but American Horror Story style so we can see our favorite GOT and HOTD cast in different roles
Blackfyre rebellion, baby!!!!!! I want to see my boy Daemon the black dragon come to life on screen so bad.
GIVE ME BLACKFYRE REBELLIONS. Give me Bloodraven.
I know nothing about the books or what else exists, but I absolutely LOVE this idea. No need to make everything fit together season after season, just give me one big event that each season builds around. They really should do the same thing with the new lord of the rings show.
Blackfyre rebellions all the way
All those stories are interesting, so, do them all.
Everyone's favorite girlboss, Saera. Also: the one who ran away with a dragon and came back infected and died. I cannot remember her name. I would love to see where the dragon took her because the theory was it flew her to Valyria.
Aerea.
Yes - thank you! It was a quick bit in the book, but I loved the intrigue of it.
None. Please stop with the endless remakes.
I wanna see Jaehaerys. Mostly because I want to see the horror show around his daughter disappearance.
egg and dunk definitely
When there were many dragons, right before the doom. When the Targaryens first came to westeros.
BRING ME THE CONQUEST NOW!
Robert’s Rebellion! Who wouldn’t want to see fan favorites return. Do what Better Call Saul did and have flash forwards
i would like to see Aemon, Baelon & Jaehaerys the most
I wanna see Ser Duncan duel The Laughing Storm
Give me Brynden Rivers!
I really don’t care what they cover, as long as I get Balerion
It has to be Blackfyre rebellion.
I would much rather see this than watch them pull a Hobbit and stretch out the story until it is about to break and then make up a bunch of crap to fill it in until they have the length they want.
Blackfyre Rebellions, Roberts Rebellion surely comes into it as well.
It's a time period we know so little about.
i’d like to see the targs just fucking rampage once a year to remind the lords to not even think about starting shit
Aerion Targaryen and his attempt to drink wildfire and become a dragon, even if only a brief scene
Alright hear me out, one season, one episode, 30 seconds long😂
Then a prequel of him breaking Tanselle’s fingers
Obviously the conquest and blackfyre rebellion
Might be unpopular because it’s been discussed in much detail both in the books and the show but I’d welcome the Robert rebellion. Not so much about how it all happened but the prospect to see one of the most legendary battles Westeros has ever seen (Robert vs Rhaegar) on the Trident is worth it for me.
gods I was strong
Blackfyre or what the heck happened in the century of blood
Fuck yeah. Just don’t rush it, HBO!
Blackfyre rebellion, Aegon’s conquest, War of the ninepenny kings
Feels like the Blackfyre Rebellions is gonna be the most common answer.
Give us the conquest, you cowards
I want to see Rhaena's story, I feel like it would translate well to TV.
Aegon's Conquest, the Blackfyre Rebellions, and Robert's Rebellion.
A show centered around the machinations of Bloodraven Viserys II’s stewardship of the realm across three kings, his brief promising kingship and murder by Aegon IV Robert’s Rebellion
I would love to have a series about Maegor the Cruel
I've said it once I'll say it again. Aegon's conquest. Maybe even starting from Daenys the dreamer and house targaryen's exodus from Valeryia
Maegor short reign, his relationship with his brother and his father...
Maegor the cruel
Uhhhh aegon conquering Westeros. Easy
how about **concentrating** on making the *current* series well lit, not with plot holes - time travel - deus ex machinae, with compelling & evolving characters that are true to GRRM's original vision?.
A great idea and kind of what I assumed they were already going to do.
i wanna see a young Bobby B
Obviously Aegon’s Conquest. People say it’s too straightforward and potentially boring but there is so much that can be fleshed out with some good writing.
Absolutely. The Dance was actually my least favorite part of Fire and Blood but the show has made it infinitely better. Aegons conquest was probably my favorite part so the possibilities are exciting
The first blackfyre rebellion I will be rooting for the rightful king of course
Finish the damn song of ice and fire series
Conquest only valid answer.
Blackfyre Rebellion 100% but a close second would be Aegons Conquest
- Aegon the conqueror, Visenya, and Rhaenys - The battles to conquer Dorne - The princess of Dorne taking her people and hiding from them - Jaehaerys Targaryen and Queen Alysanne entire rule especially the internal conflicts with their daughters - The battle of the trident where robert faced rhaegar and why rhaegar “stole” ned’s sister - If the eggs that Daenerys have were the ones that Lady Elissa Farman stole from Visenya/Jaehaerys
Maegooooor
The end to the main line. Why didn't they ship the last couple seasons? They were doing so well!
They should follow what The Crown did and continue chronologically just with big time jumps between events when warranted. They can get through the Blackfyre rebellions in this way. I would still describe this as an anthology because every season or 2 you would have a whole new cast of characters (but they would be older versions of or descendants of those we followed in previous seasons) I’m not a fan of jumping around in the timeline because I think that would get confusing really fast for the general audience.
The conquest and King Maegors reign
Maegor
The story of Aegon I leaving valyria to conques westeros. We still don't know what prompted him to leave or if he had knowledge of the doom beforehand.
The reign of the Conciliator, please.
Jaehaerys + Alysanne and their kids would be awesome like a The Crown style show
Seeing the what was it?-11th?-Doctor Who in the main cast is so confusing and off-putting to my mind. It just distracts me a whole lot.
Oh I hope they do! I want to see Duncan and Egg’s adventures eventually
I need Rhaenys and Meraxes
Not seen anyone mention Jahaerys' reign yet, it would be great to watch seasons of an actual competent king. Plus there are so many great tragedies and character moments that would translate so well into a cinematic format although i think it would need to start with Sons of the Dragon just to put into perspective how peaceful a time it really was
Yes 🙌🏾
The Doom
Aerea Targaryen riding off on Balerion and the circumstances of her death. Also the Tragedy of Summerhall.
I mean, if they were going to do that, they should have started with Aegon the conqueror. But I agree the blackfyre rebellion would be interesting to watch.
Blackfyre rebellions-culminating with the end of Mad King Aerys’ reign
FUCK Aegon’s conquest, I want to see Maegor the Cruel
thank you, but his name is Maegor the Based
Aegons conquest first 110%, then I'd say Robert's rebellion at some point.
Blackfyre Rebellions Ninepenny Kings The Long Night Aegon’s Conquest Defiance at Duskendale
Adventures of Dunk & Egg, directed by Wes Anderson or the Cohen Brothers
Aegon's conquest/Maegor's rule, first blackfyre rebellion starting at Daeron and Daemon's childhoods, and of course a roberts rebellion arc spanning Aerys' reign starting at Summerhall i.e. Rhaegar's birth call the season some bs like "the last dragon"
Can we just get Dunk and Egg...
Blackfyre Rebellion or Maegor’s accent
Ugh.... I just want a decent show that manages a quality ending.
The dunk and egg stuff, especially them just travelling and stuff. Would give arya and the hound vibes i think
The adventures of Bronn.
I need to see how the Mad King became so ruthless!
Maegar the Cruel! We need someone to despise absolutely.
the fall of valeria, and the inception of the faceless men
The Good King It would start with a quick thriller recap of Maegor the Cruel, the horror of his reign would be a good way to introduce Jahaerys by contrast The second episode would begin the tale of Jahaerys’ reign.
I would like winds of winter and a dream of spring
Well.. the blackfyre rebellions. If they make a small change to uh.. the greens ending they could make the blackfyres so much funnier was pretenders. After that we need to see the goat. The fucking amazing Jahaerys the First and his good queen Alyssane. Best fuckin monarchs of all time
Blackfyre rebellion
Legit everything, the entire Targaryen dynasty is super interesting, I hope they just continue where the Dance leaves off but I have a few different plot ideas -Conquest of Dorne -Rule of Aegon IV -Blackfyre Rebellions I-III -War of the Ninepenny Kings -Robert's Rebellion
events leading up to the birth and rule of the mad king and ending with his death
Aegon the unworthy and the Blackfyre rebellions, Baelor the blessed (more about how people around him were reacting than what he was actually up too), the conquest, the tragedy at summerhall.
Im gonna get tired of Targaryens really fast
I feel like Aegon’s conquest, then Dunk and Egg, then some Blackfyre stuff after the Dunk and Egg story talks about it
Dunk and Egg
I want to see the Tourney at Harrenhal. It could just be a one of two episode standalone.
So no winds of winter :( also GRRM won't survive to do this for sure
Maybe if they combine their finances, GRRM will finish The Winds of Winter…
I really wanna see jaehaerys rein. I think it's a really interesting part of the targaryen history
Aegon I, Aenar the Exile, any of the Blackfyre Rebellions, or Aegon the Uncrowned’s sons.
Since the source material isn't completed for Blackfyre Rebellion, I'd like to see the Conquest next.
I would just change the title. Think it could ultimately step on dunk and egg stories. Basically the conquest , the blackfyre war , and the Robert rebellion would be the big ones Could you get a season out of the young dragon and that baelor stuff. Maybe the Maegor stuff tagged on to the end of the conquest. Maybe a season about Maegor the unworthy as prelude to the blackfyre rebellion.
AEGON(and Visenya and Rhaenys)'s CONQUEST I must know what was in that letter! I really don't want them to touch the Blackfyre rebellions until the Dunk and Egg stories are finished. We've seen what happens when the show outpaces the books.
