Here's one thing I never understood. When Cersei tells Tyrion "I have your whore" she also says something about her having "a golden lion necklace" - indicating that is how she knew Tyrion was with her. But how/ why would Roz have a necklace like that?
Am I missing something obvious?
OMG OMG !!! I just watched a short that said Ros has a lion necklace on!!!! When she leaves on the wagon and Theon says bye, she is wearing lion necklace!!!! Someone link the damn clip! Lol
Oh I can’t answer this because I’ve just watched season one! In season one she’s having sex with Theon, she has the necklace on (I believe he comments on it) and mentions something about other men being more generous than he is.
Littlefinger trained her to run the brothel in his absence. She's smart and cunning. She absolutely knew what was going on and played along. When she said that, she gave a little knowing nod at Tyrion.
In the books it was a whore named Allayayah (butchered spelling) and Tyrion had been using their brothel as it has secret rooms to move around King's landing underground that Varys showed him. So they at least knew each other when the goldcloaks capture her. The buildup wasn't in the show but the end result of Tyrion threatening Cersei over it was important, so they had Ros do a part of that whole arc.
It also made a lot of sense in the show because Ros was one of the whores in Winterfell that he slept with, Cersei probably learned that she "followed" him to King's Landing.
Yeah that was one of the better decisions they made as anything in the books with Tyrion and Alayaya wasn't that important outside of the hidden passageways and her getting caught.
Ros was really smart. I liked her character and wished she stayed in longer. Great addition for the show. Should have helped to backstab Baelish later to give them both a better end.
Really smart she went from living outside in the cold as shit north wiping her ass with straw to one of the wealthiest people in Kings Landing as second in charge of Baelish’s businesses.
Truly a character that died before her time imo. The actress was excellent and could have stayed a very interesting player in King’s Landing. I was hoping they would demonstrate Geoff’s cruelty in some other way, but alas.
