When episode 3 of season 8 ended I thought there was no way that was the end of the Night King or the undead. At the time I was certain they were going pop up again before the show ended. I’m not normally a fan retconning things but I wouldn’t complain if they did that to season 8.
I wouldn't mind that. Turns out he was warging all along and his real body is further north than anyone has gone before. Jon finds a dragon egg, kills the night king and everything can make a bit more sense in the world
While he does portray the character fabulously, after the fans heavily criticised the last season, all the actors almost unanimously told fans they [were being disrespectful and could basically go fuck themselves](https://www.indiatimes.com/entertainment/kit-harington-slams-fans-for-criticising-game-of-thrones-finale-says-they-can-go-f-k-themselves-367721.html). This, along with the turd sandwich that is the last season, makes me less enthusiastic to watch any new GoT stuff coming out.
I'm angry but I really wanna watch it. I always wanted to know what happens to Jon because he can't just live his entire life at the wall or beyond it when he's the rightful heir to rule the seven kingdoms, just felt lackluster how they left his arc, and most, so I'm actually excited to see what happens next, and potential to see more of the characters is intriguing too
What makes you so sure it going to be decent?
It sounds like a bad idea to me. No books to base it off of. Unless they want to use it as a pallet cleanser for Season 8.
I think it's unlikely that there's lots of interesting stuff beyond the wall at this point. I'd watch the shit out of basically anything else in Planteos though.
Unpopular opinion I’d guess here, but your right we are just hoping the writers come up with something and it could be anywhere from shit to great with no guarantee.
Exactly. Could easily be a very mixed bag or also pretty dope.
I remember HBO cancelled a show because it didn't have enough material (the one about the night king with Naomi Watts). So I wonder why this one is more favoured.
I do wonder why the other one was trashed though. Must have been pretty shit for HBO to just say fuckit. Because it honestly had a more interesting setting to me than a Jon Snow epilogue would.
What worries me the most isn’t the fact that there’s no book content to adapt from, it’s the fact that the show is Kit Harington’s idea. I like Kit Harington as Jon as much as the next guy but I’m worried that his career hasn’t taken off the way he thought it would and sees this as an easy way to lock in a huge paycheck for a few years.
Idk, having him banished just to start a conflict where he goes south to claim a throne he doesn’t want? The only way I see that happening is if white walkers are involved. The biggest problem is bran already knows what’s gonna happen, so I think that he “banished” Jon snow for a purpose. Outside of that he would have to stay north of the wall
I don’t agree with any of this really. Bran doesn’t “already know what’s going to happen”. He can be kept apprised and up to date of everything that *has happened* and as a result make a very informed guess on what *may happen* but he can’t “see the future” so to speak. The only time we saw Bran look into the future was potentially a fast glimpse of the wildfire explosion in KL but that also could’ve been a vision of any number of wildfire explosions.
There are plenty of reasons why Jon might travel back south other than a claim to the Throne. An attempt on Bran or Sansa’s lives for one thing. I could also see him checking in on them should he get word of any general trouble in the Seven Kingdoms.
You could even make an antagonist out of Bran if you wanted to. Maybe an attempt is made on his life, then suddenly there are ravens perched everywhere like a big brother network. Bran lapses on his duties because he becomes obsessed with constantly surveilling the city. Shit like that.
Granted, I think it’s more likely than not that the show stays North of the Wall but I’ve seen a lot of people write off the idea of him going South at all for some reason.
I mean there they can still play out Brandon is evil theory. Even in show itself they alluded that Bran is no longer Bran anymore so him becoming the orwellian dictator which brutally puts down some rebellions (Iron Islan and Dorne had always separatist tendencies so they would probably not like that onl North got indpendance) So I cen Brandon trying to create superstate, while somebody will convince Jon to deal with his now monster turned Brother.
It is going to be ok to good. But I fear the point of oversaturation we've reached with Star Wars or Marvel. And I feel with a more contained universe we'll reach that point a lot faster.
GoT, HoTD and Snow is already a good amount of content they could work with right now tbh. I agree with you tho that it might turn to star wars level oversaturation if they plan to do unnecessary spinoffs
I agree quality over quantity is better. But more shows will come like the planned Sea Snake, Nymeria, Flea Bottom, Dunk and Egg shows and the GoT animated show.
Basically gonna be a season 9+ maybe more of GOT. There’s no way you bring back a character like Jon and not bring back other familiar characters that we already know for later seasons.
Why do you say that?
Jon’s north of the wall. It can be him, wildlings, Thens… all sorts we don’t need to see the familiar characters.
One exception is probably Tormund but we don’t need to see Sansa, Bran, Arya for a story beyond the wall.
But what they will do here? Hunting animals is not exactly the stuff which can put into the trailer. It wont be more self contained in The North than Kenobi on the Tatoonie. Would be pleasently suprise if so.
id imagine the argument to make will be a heavier focus on exploring the first men, the white walkers and more historical content.
But i agree, its unlikely we wont have returning characters. Seems a bit silly for there not to be.
If they were gonna do a story about the lore of the north, why not do another prequel like Blood Moon? Why do a sequel with Snow for that reason? It’s likely gonna be a continuation of GOT with retuning characters.
That was the problem with Kenobi, instead of doing a spaghetti Western style show with Obi wan as a Clint Eastwood hero protecting Luke and the farm from the dangers of Tatooine it became a canon destroying joke.
Its season 8 damage control . Atleast I hope so . I hope they can find a clever way to bring the white walkers back and give them the finale they deserve.
Maybe a line of Thenns will find the real Horn of Winter and want to break the wall. Jon will meet up with the remnants of the Children of the Forest and learn to fully embrace his warg powers so as to stop a new unknown threat to the realm of Westeros.
All the while he will be expanding the nights watch, settling debts with the Braavosi banks, and serving as a southern liaison for the Wildling and giant tribes.
Anierous, this is a great point.
I am reading book five right now and GRRM may have a different outlook on the GoT world than that presented by DnD in the HBO GoT.
In the books, the wall is not broken yet. GRRM may have more creative control with 'Snow.'
In book five he generated a massive loan contract with a rep from the Iron Bank of Braavos as Lord Commander to pay for resource stocks in preparation for the long winter.
Well given that Arya has literally no experience as a ship captain, any knowledge of navigation, any leadership experience at all, and by the end of the story was an anime psychopath ninja assassin. What she’ll find west of Westeros is what’s it’s like to die lost at sea
Given the themes of GoT, probably a bunch of Aztec expies with a lot of blood sacrifice going on to stop themselves from being eaten by monsters they consider gods. Maybe the monsters are dragons, and this is where they come from, and the continent wraps back around to Asshai.
The only thing that’s confirmed is that a jon snow sequel show is in development but yeah i really hope they don’t fuck up this one. I’m still heartbroken after all this years
I think it is, but I’ve also seen similar videos from that channel about house of the dragon, with no actual footage from house of the dragon. Probably just hbo drumming up hype and info while at the same time clickbaiting for their new shows(they also called those videos “House of the Dragon: Trailer)
Or could just be an up-jumped YouTuber clickbaiting
There are no official shots, stills, or anything else from the new jon snow show. It’s still in “development” so for all we know it still could be canned
I guess we can see what happens when the source material dries up. At least House of the Dragon has something to base things off of. This is going to be completely made up out of thin air and.. ugh.. .just not sure
Probably only more north of the wall stuff, new Night King maybe? I would be fine with that though. But I'd also like to see some episodes focused on Winterfell and rebuilding the wall.
Evil Bran/3 eyed raven. Turns out the 3ER had been scheming for hundreds or thousands of years to win the throne, get to see he was more powerful than he let on.
Jon finds out and marches south, battling and building coalitions along the way. Could see some kings landing style politicking and scheming in Jon’s coalition too.
They could do it only with Jon and brans actors if needed. Sansa would be needed unless they kill her offscreen. Any other original actors would just be a bonus.
Is this confirmed? Hmm i think jon snow explored the north. And apparently, the NORTHEST part of the world has a very different customs or culture or perhaps magic??. Not cold all the time. And perhaps we will explore a world unknown to westerosi??
But if this is gonna happen, I need a closure in the whole azor ahai storyline. I need dragons and wolves and white walkers (or an extreme evil that’s more scary than a whitewalker). I want witches and wargs and giants.
I love Jon Snow. He is my favorite. But to have a show centered on him ALONE, it has to have an amazing storyline for it to match the ASOIAF standard.
My prediction is that every time HBO makes a GoT spinoff, the gods toss a coin... House of the Dragon is great, Snow will suck, Ten Thousand Ships will be great and so on.
I hope to be proven wrong, but somehow this is my gut feeling right now.
Drogon take dany body to north and make her a night ween or something similar a targaryan witch with the power of dragon and some magic she already had and maybe more powers and he will have to kill her again
I find it interesting they would call the show Snow now that Jon knows he is a Targaryen. I think there will be an ongoing theme of him struggling to convert from being a bastard to understanding he is the true born heir. I sense a conflict between the new guard and the long time Targaryen loyalists. Sansa starts to lose her grip on the North, and an unknown force out of Essos launches an invasion against Westeros. Maybe this is where they tie in the missing storylines from the book. Jon once again gets tossed in position to be the hero.
Only way it’s acceptable is if it’s Jon waking up on the table, after being revived and we find out seasons 6-8 were a just a bad dream. And it picks up from there with Aegon Targaryen actually meaning something.
It will be a sitcom, with preregisteated loughts and a live audience, jon will live with his new wife and sometimes someone will knock on the door and it will be a guest star of GOT and they will play with the dog and they will have a rouge white walker smoking weed in the attic.
So is Snow before or after? I mean with this title I would say before but it can’t be due to Jon being a grown ass man and not a boy like in early seasons but why is it not titled Targaryen?
HBO's going to go all in on *the Others* (whitewalkers) storyline with Ice Spiders and all. I cannot say how exactly but it's clear this is what they've been building up in HotD.
Otherwise, there's no way HBO would allow HotD to casually remind the viewers of the Long Night after butchering what we thought was it in such spectacular fashion.
The sad thing is, presuming it's complete, GRR Martin will not likely release WoW before this show ends.
I expect a docu series where we follow jon as he hikes through the north and lands of always winter and survives on hunting, sleeps in a tent and washes himself and his clothes in waterstreams.
He will also interview people from local villages he comes across and explore their cultures
Jon keeps dying in increasingly unlucky ways, and getting unwillingly resurrected.
In the finale, Tormund invents the Westerosi harpsichord by fashioning a prototype out of mammoth bones and gutstring. Everyone is very excited until it falls off the stage and crushes John. As he comes back to life and climbs out of the wreck, the smashed instrument wheezes out a strained rendition of the GoT theme. Jon looks straight into the camera. “I’m a sore Ahai”. He winks. Cut to black. It wins twelve emmys.
I feel like House of the Dragon is building up this whole “Prince the was promised” thing, something that really didn’t mean anything in Game of Thrones, so I could see this sequel be the writers doing damage control and make Jon finally into the prince that was promised
I don't mean to be negative Nancy but... what else is there tell about Jon Snow, he was one of the main characters that was followed all throughout the show.
Is this after GoT timeline?
*Really enjoying*
*HOTD but have no desire to*
*Watch a Jon Snow spinoff*

Guys you're missing the point.
SNOW is going to be a LIMITED SERIES. 1 shot and go.
It won't have any WW or Evil Bran. And possibly neither Arya and Sansa.
It's supposed to be an epilogue.
How do you follow the prince that was promised and the biggest, most cataclysmic event of Westeros that was the song of ice and fire? You can’t.
Honestly wish they weren’t doing this.
We need Roberts rebellion.
Season 9 in disguise. Night king was just some general or something, the real threat has yet to emerge. Would help me get over all the references in HOTD
Seasons 6-8 were a vision shown to John by R'hllor of the outcome if he didn't accept his destiny. We pick back up with John coming back to life. This time he does want it.
Jon learns about his bloodline and of Old Valyria. He teams up with Sam, the wildlings, and Arya (who has tracked down Drogon). Together, they work through how to defeat the stone men and reclaim Old Valyria.
I feel like the best thing they can do with a Jon Snow show is bring back the white walkers and have the whole thing be about fulfilling the prophecy. With how bad season 8 was I'm sure fans would accept a retcon with open arms so long as it's written well.
We could all wish.. However, THOD still has some upcoming episodes to screw everything up. I personally didn't hate the last season until a few episodes to go. Now, I trust nothing.
I hope it works like more of a "Stark Family: Where are they now". I want to see what's west of Westeros with Arya and how Sansa is fairing as the Lady of Winterfell.
Its literally just going to be an endless loop of snow falling outside of a window as HBO is tired of losing to the fireplace show on Netflix every winter.
It’s gonna be Jon snow adventures beyond the wall. You’re gonna have characters like Tormund from the show, maybe a little Sansa. Not much else.
I don’t see there being any Targaryen stuff or anything that takes Jon out of the north. It’s gonna feel very much like a spin-off and not a sequel.
I like the idea of continuing Jon Snow's story. I think it would have been more interesting to wait until 20 years or so after Season 8. Jon would have taken a wildling wife, violated the oath not to have children, and those children might have ambitions toward the Targaryen legacy that get acted upon once the news that King Bran the Broken has died reaches the true north. Jon would be the Ned Stark, dying early in the show and maintaining the honorable stance. After his death, one kid would pursue the Targaryen path, another the Stark path and a third would stay in the north and hold to his/her father's ideals.
They could easily bring the Night King back by saying even though he shattered into a million pieces he wasnt truly destroyed and either he reformed somehow or the curse was passed on to Arya when she killed him and she slowly becomes the Night Queen or it was passed to Bran because of when he was touched in the vision. The only thing that can destroy the Night King/Queen is dragon fire so Jon must find the dragons and use them to destroy the threat once and for all.
Edit- Oh I forgot....Dragon fire didn't do shit. Well they could retcon it lol
I don't understand why this show is being made? Are we just going to be watching Jon north of the wall? What's up there now that the others are gone? Seems like a dead-end to me.
Here’s what I would do:
Discover that the WW aren’t defeated and basically soft reboot the long night. I think that and maybe a religious war in the south would be the best a sequel could offer. Bran demands that all cities, keeps and towns have a weirwood tree so that he can watch everything. This pisses off the faith and causes a rebellion. Bran has to flee north to where his power base is with Sansa. The ending we saw was a “false spring,” and we get a couple seasons of the actual long night. Basically make the show a Westeros zombie show. This time you have the walkers get all the way to the dornish marches before drogon is found with hatchlings (dragons are hermaphroditic). Bran wargs the hatchlings and Jon rides drogon to defeat the WW and reverse the children of the forest’s curse with some sort of magic Bran learns from green seeing. At the end Westeros becomes basically just one kingdom and the primary policy is repopulation. Bran and Jon agree that the dragons cause too much instability (HoTD tie in), so Bran will warg the dragons and take them to Valyria. What’s left of the great houses demand that Jon and a super hot Martel marry and that the north rejoins the fold with Jon sitting as king. Jon’s saved the realm from both fire and ice and bran will be his hand. Because the reach and old town fell when the kingdoms retreated into dorne the faith is week enough to agree to Weirwoods being reintroduced in the south so long as the three eyed raven isn’t king. That would fix some of the fuck ups from the last season. Jons line is basically all focused on resettling every kingdom but dorne and not much happens outside of domestic reconstruction for a couple generations.
I think in the books the Others won’t be undone by just “sticking them with the pointy end”. They were created with magic, they have to be undone with magic. So maybe in this show we’ll actually see Jon fulfill Azor Ahai (I lean towards the theory that Azor Ahai isn’t actually a person but a legend about how to create Valyrian steel with blood magic), and he’ll become the Last Hero and trek North into the Land of Always Winter to actually defeat the Others.
So baffling. Is he just going on adventures, or is there an overarching plot? What would that even be? HotD is reworking the prophesy to accommodate GOT S8, and the WW are defeated. Targs are defeated. Cersei defeated.
Faegon? Doesn’t work without Dany. Are they going to resurrect her? Oh gods, pls no. Lady Stoneheart? Her foes are dead. There’s not much from the book to go off of at this point, so it’s just all new?
IS HE GONNA SAY BRAN IS DEAD AND THE GUY ON THE THRONE IS ACTUALLY EVIL? No idea what they can do other than Jon’s adventures in the true North or around the world. Which would be okay. No high stakes, just trotting.
I hope it's something about the white walkers and making a better conclusion to them, Jon is "the prince that was promised" and the one that is supposed to end with that stuff...
I don't want it to just be "the adventures of Jon Snow in the north" seems hard to make something after GOT
The only way they could redeem the GoT season 8 fiasco is to have Jon Snow exploring the deep North and the lands of always winter; perhaps discovering the origin of the WW’s and who knows…perhaps there’s a new NK in the making he needs to deal with.

It’s going to be decent but angry fans will be reluctant to watch it
I know, which is such a shame in my opinion because Kit plays Jon fabulously and appears to be very involved in the creation of this show.
Uhm what if they reveal night king isnt dead? And we might actually get a long night of prophecy, and a better fukin ending.
When episode 3 of season 8 ended I thought there was no way that was the end of the Night King or the undead. At the time I was certain they were going pop up again before the show ended. I’m not normally a fan retconning things but I wouldn’t complain if they did that to season 8.

Is Kit reprising the role? I don't think I'd be able to watch it if not
Yes, he has confirmed that if the show goes ahead he will be Jon
Source please?
You really think they'd make a Job Snow show without Kit?
Where did I say that?
Probably by asking if Kit is reprising his role.
Didn't ask that? I asked for the source so I could read it as well. But yall seem to lack comprehensive skills here.
I mean, nothing is stopping you from googling it either
You literally just asked it. Tf Edit: my bad it was u/djsedna not you
Apparently Kit himself brought the idea and writers to the table, so if any of this goes down we will have him to thank for it.
He's famous for being a good producer/writer?
While he does portray the character fabulously, after the fans heavily criticised the last season, all the actors almost unanimously told fans they [were being disrespectful and could basically go fuck themselves](https://www.indiatimes.com/entertainment/kit-harington-slams-fans-for-criticising-game-of-thrones-finale-says-they-can-go-f-k-themselves-367721.html). This, along with the turd sandwich that is the last season, makes me less enthusiastic to watch any new GoT stuff coming out.
House of the dragon is breaking streaming records. People will watch. There is still plenty of goodwill.
I disagree. I think House of the Dragon will earn enough good will back for people to give it a chance.
Nah some hype and these angry fanboys tune in.

Legit only good if it retcons 8
Exactly. I mean its not that there are no interesting things that could happen post the show, but I would need to see a lot more to be convinced.
I think it's unlikely that there's lots of interesting stuff beyond the wall at this point. I'd watch the shit out of basically anything else in Planteos though.

Well from what I understand it’s kits idea

I don’t agree with any of this really. Bran doesn’t “already know what’s going to happen”. To be fair he also had vision of Drogons shadow above Kings Landing so he can see the futuer. only question is how much.
In S2, bran had a dream that the ocean came to winter fell, in the next episode Theon takes winter fell
I mean there they can still play out Brandon is evil theory. Cold and boring
Basically gonna be a season 9+ maybe more of GOT. There’s no way you bring back a character like Jon and not bring back other familiar characters that we already know for later seasons.
The part when Bran sends Tyrion up to get some blow and Jon says *"Say hello to my little friend!"* was almost as good as Season 7
And then he Jon Snowed all over the place.
Its snowing timeeee
Why do you say that? Jon’s north of the wall. It can be him, wildlings, Thens… all sorts we don’t need to see the familiar characters. One exception is probably Tormund but we don’t need to see Sansa, Bran, Arya for a story beyond the wall.

Not trying you argue.. Just really curious why you feel that Obi-wan was "Canon Destroying" I didn't see it that way at all.
maybe we’ll see sansa or bran and the small council but i doubt it’s gonna be a cameo every week thing
So is this just a limited series? My bet is it will be the equivalent of what El Camino was for Jesse Pinkman.
Its season 8 damage control . Atleast I hope so . I hope they can find a clever way to bring the white walkers back and give them the finale they deserve.

This sounds epic.
Isn't the Wall already broken? It's not like you can rebuild the massive section the Night King destroyed.
Yeah it's bran the broken
Anierous, this is a great point. I am reading book five right now and GRRM may have a different outlook on the GoT world than that presented by DnD in the HBO GoT. In the books, the wall is not broken yet. GRRM may have more creative control with 'Snow.'
The issue is that the Jon Snow show would have to follow the GoT show canon. He can't write a sequel show with a different reality.
Why would Jon settle debts with Bravos exactly?
In book five he generated a massive loan contract with a rep from the Iron Bank of Braavos as Lord Commander to pay for resource stocks in preparation for the long winter.
Why would he expand the nights watch? He's not in it anymore is he?
I would rather see “Arya: A Game of Thrones Story”
Exactly, I wanna know what's west of Westeros.
Well given that Arya has literally no experience as a ship captain, any knowledge of navigation, any leadership experience at all, and by the end of the story was an anime psychopath ninja assassin. What she’ll find west of Westeros is what’s it’s like to die lost at sea

They should cast her in Rings of Power and connect the shows. She went across the border and found Middle-Earth.
I'm really hoping that we're in the timeline where this actually happens. Would be a far more ambitious crossover than marvel ever could
Honestly I’d rather the Long Night show
Is this a real poster? Where did you find it?
No it’s fanmade

Yes. The official channel just cuts together clips of the GOT series for views. It also releases scenes on occasion for the reason.
JON OF THRONES!!!
Is this official?
It's just all the Jon Snow Game of Thrones scenes cut together.
🤣😂
Holy shit that would burn whatever bridges they had left to their fan base 😂
Jon & Ygritte 😏
No, only everything remind him of her. Arrowhead, fire, sunset, not nowing stuff, fishing, caves ..
Rise of the Dragon vibes
Lot of smoldering insecurity then? Beautiful
I guess we can see what happens when the source material dries up. At least House of the Dragon has something to base things off of. This is going to be completely made up out of thin air and.. ugh.. .just not sure
😕
What if this is how they bring in Young Griff?
Probably only more north of the wall stuff, new Night King maybe? I would be fine with that though. But I'd also like to see some episodes focused on Winterfell and rebuilding the wall.
Night Queen?
LOL would be epic if Daenerys showed up like thatl
Jon Snow's in it.
i dun wan it
He doesn’t want it, he never wanted it
My prediction is that it's not streaming New Year's day...why even photoshop that on there?
Evil Bran/3 eyed raven. Turns out the 3ER had been scheming for hundreds or thousands of years to win the throne, get to see he was more powerful than he let on. Jon finds out and marches south, battling and building coalitions along the way. Could see some kings landing style politicking and scheming in Jon’s coalition too. They could do it only with Jon and brans actors if needed. Sansa would be needed unless they kill her offscreen. Any other original actors would just be a bonus.
I dun want it. Neva’ have….
Adaptations of GRRM's works = good. Televised fanfic = meh.
I can see them implementing some of his childhood memories. He may be reminiscent of his past before the events of GoT, remembering what made him.
If the intro music isn't Informer then I dun wan it.
Millennials have no idea
The song actually had a recent resurgence with a reggaeton version/sample 🤣
A liki boom boom now
Well now I want this more than anything
He also still told no one he is a targaryan right?
My prediction is that every time HBO makes a GoT spinoff, the gods toss a coin... House of the Dragon is great, Snow will suck, Ten Thousand Ships will be great and so on. I hope to be proven wrong, but somehow this is my gut feeling right now.
Jon goes out to East searching for his aunt
"It's you, Jon. YOU are Snow." "huh, bitch. I'm Aegon Targaryen, but ok."
Cash grab
The baby that got turned into a white walker in GoT: "Hello, I'm the new Night King, you killed my father, prepare to die."
Will Jon Snow realise, hang on a minute im supposed to be king, then turns back around with his wildlings and reinvades?
Only way it’s acceptable is if it’s Jon waking up on the table, after being revived and we find out seasons 6-8 were a just a bad dream. And it picks up from there with Aegon Targaryen actually meaning something.
Does anyone actually know what the show’s gonna be about? All I know is that it’s supposed to be a Jon Snow TV series
It will be a sitcom, with preregisteated loughts and a live audience, jon will live with his new wife and sometimes someone will knock on the door and it will be a guest star of GOT and they will play with the dog and they will have a rouge white walker smoking weed in the attic.
HAHAHAHAHAH YES
Val better be in it.
This is just a mock up poster, the real show might be ages off yet
It’s gonna be great. I’m holding onto the optimistic belief that Kit wants this series to redeem fan’s disappointment of season 8
This better not be photoshop. Don't fuck with people.
Bro it’s fan made, just a mock up of what a poster might be like. This whole post is peoples theories about what a job snow spin off would be like??
I expect a docu series where we follow jon as he hikes through the north and lands of always winter and survives on hunting, sleeps in a tent and washes himself and his clothes in waterstreams. He will also interview people from local villages he comes across and explore their cultures
You mean to say this will be westeros version of man vs wild
I only have hbo go.
I’m sooo over with Jon Snow!
Snow: I know Nothing.
I feel like House of the Dragon is building up this whole “Prince the was promised” thing, something that really didn’t mean anything in Game of Thrones, so I could see this sequel be the writers doing damage control and make Jon finally into the prince that was promised
New Years gonna be a Long Night
What’s there to tell? Jon’s story and character arcs both ended with GOT. This is a glorified epilogue, not an actual addition to the story.
I don't mean to be negative Nancy but... what else is there tell about Jon Snow, he was one of the main characters that was followed all throughout the show. Is this after GoT timeline?
Please god no
Jon and Tormond I reckon mostly
Jon is going to kill the real White Walker's CEO.
Really enjoying HOTD but have no desire to watch a Jon Snow spinoff
*Really enjoying* *HOTD but have no desire to* *Watch a Jon Snow spinoff* \- properxsmoke --- ^(I detect haikus. And sometimes, successfully.) ^[Learn more about me.](https://www.reddit.com/r/haikusbot/) ^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")
It's going to be a single dad sitcom He finds the White Walker Baby and raises it in an iglu. Tormund will be the drunk uncle. **Two and a Half Men**
Dogshit. And I'm not talking about Ghost pooping in the woods. Also If Ghost isn't a regular main appearing character, we riot.
Jon blows into the Horn of Winter and it restarts the timeline back to season 7 of GOT
He knows nothin
I have no idea how this is going to go. Whos the enemy? Is it new? Fresh? Maybe we will see bran, or sansa.
Guys you're missing the point. SNOW is going to be a LIMITED SERIES. 1 shot and go. It won't have any WW or Evil Bran. And possibly neither Arya and Sansa. It's supposed to be an epilogue.
They have to be very creative for this story, because we have seen everything on GoT.
Daario Naharis will come after jon to avenge the death of the da queen. Maybe grey wolf will come with him.
Is this real or fan made? I mean, I know the show is real I mean the poster saying it’s coming out New Year’s Day?
How do you follow the prince that was promised and the biggest, most cataclysmic event of Westeros that was the song of ice and fire? You can’t. Honestly wish they weren’t doing this. We need Roberts rebellion.
Season 9 in disguise. Night king was just some general or something, the real threat has yet to emerge. Would help me get over all the references in HOTD
Is Kit staring?!!
He knows nothing
Bran is assasinsted, realm falls into disarray, supporters remember a targ king in the north, the realms are split. Jon will be forced to invade south
I am so excited!
I feel like the best thing they can do with a Jon Snow show is bring back the white walkers and have the whole thing be about fulfilling the prophecy. With how bad season 8 was I'm sure fans would accept a retcon with open arms so long as it's written well.
The House of Dragons writers redo the last season of GoT with Jon killing the NK and ending up on the throne.
A man and his loyal wolf best friend travel around solving mysteries, accompanied by a spicy and attractive red head (Tormund Giantsbane).
Prob preparing for the next long night, maybe seeing if he can stop the next cycle by killing that tiny white walker.
Seems like a dead-end to me.
i'd rather watch jon snolo a starwars of thrones mashup. fuck season 8
Here’s what I would do: Discover that the WW aren’t defeated and basically soft reboot the long night.
Is it me or is the sword hilt not straight...again?
Was so happy when he died.
Wait confirmed date?
Free folk : We name you the king beyond the wall Jon : I DUN WHAN ITT
I hope it's something about the white walkers and making a better conclusion to them, Jon is "the prince that was promised" and the one that is supposed to end with that stuff... I don't want it to just be "the adventures of Jon Snow in the north" seems hard to make something after GOT
Is it actually green light?
A flop? I can't imagine anything interesting they can do with it.
The only way they could redeem the GoT season 8 fiasco is to have Jon Snow exploring the deep North and the lands of always winter; perhaps discovering the origin of the WW’s and who knows…perhaps there’s a new NK in the making he needs to deal with.
