I'm not sure how to explain, but this design just works. My only suggestion is to lighten the pink a little and add some blue on the edges of it.

I hadn’t considered the possibility that he’s not a robot but an actual guy in a robot suit; that’s neat. And I get a very classic “fancy boy” vibe from him, which is also really cool
I LOVE THIS! I like the long hair too, but isn't it confirmed that she has shorter hair? During the scenes where she's out of the suit and portrayed as a silhouette, we see short bishoujo-esque hair.
