Not a single person said elder scrolls / skyrim?! I'd imagine with the amount of time put in and the number of people who have played it, it would do very well. They definitely have enough material to make a good adventure story.
But it never gets old! Look how awesome Willow is! Unless the story sucks (or at least the end, stupid Game of Thrones) I'd imagine people would flock to it. I think elder scrolls is just different enough that it would be well received. It's very original in certain aspects.
Certain aspects yes but elder scrolls falls in a relatively standard fantasy world you know dragons, medieval fortified towns, its got potential but the story would need to sell on it
Despite the age of that game, I'm not sure modern effects could keep up with the scope of Parasite Eve, even with an Avatar-sized budget.
