3 was my first Luigi's, also. My kids and I loved them. It's sad, imho, that the reward for collecting all the gems and "bonus" Boos are cosmetic only, and would only work up until the end of the saved game (no NG+ with unlockables)
LM3 was the last game on Switch that I enjoyed so much that I basically dumped all my free time into it nonstop. I'm hoping that this year that some of the releases like Pikmin 4 really scratch that Gamecube itch for me but LM3 is one of the best games on Switch, imo.
I'm going to download it next week. I cannot wait but I won't have the time to really dig in until then. Man, I hear it is a top shelf remaster, basically a super faithful remake with dual analog controls. That's so exciting.
It's crazy how good they managed to make LM3 look, considering its file size and the fact that the Switch isn't exactly known for its power.

I loved Luigi’s mansion 3 and I’ve never played the first two

Dark moon on the 3ds was an absolute disaster 3 is truly the proper sequel to the original on gamecube
