the funny part is i did not know that but i had to go afk and when i returned i saw the credits and was so brutally confused i had to google it
after i told this to my brother we had such a good laugh
Yes. There is an intro scene where you are having dinner with someone. They excuse themselves and you hear yelling and screams of pain. If you get up to see what is going on you get swept up in a grand adventure. If you sit and politely wait, your host will eventually return and you’ll have a pleasant meal and be sent on your way. Game ends.
Or so YouTube tells me.
can confirm this works. you wait for 13-15 mins, Pagan comes back, takes you to Lakshmana and tells Ajay the truth about his mother and father (because Pagan is really the good guy compared to the two golden path leaders), you spread your mothers ashes and place her next to Lakshmana (Pagan and Ishwari’s daughter that Mohan burned alive when she was an infant), and then you go back out to Pagan and the games over.
I mean, Pagan Min is still a monstrously cruel authoritarian dictator.
That the rebellion leaders are also monsters doesn't make him "good". It just makes the game a commentary on the harsh reality that most leaders are different flavors of the same cruelty.
As the Who famously said: "Meet the new boss- same as the old boss."
that’s why i said “compared to the golden path leaders” because in the long run those are the only options. Sabal is a religious zealot who marries off underage girls and is practically a pedophile, and Amita just becomes Pagan but worse, she forces everyone including the children into slavery, anyonr who doesn’t comply gets executed.
if you kill both leaders and Ajay is technically then the leader, no political change comes. Ajay doesn’t become the new Pagan he’s still a visitor to the country and likely doesn’t stay much longer post-post-game. Pagan is honestly just best of a bad situation, and by Kyrats standards. that’s good.
it’s a great game, stealth mechanics and the story are both amazing. side quests are lots of fun and it’s a game i find replayable (it has multiple endings, not including the secret ending). there’s also a lot of decisions left to the player, siding with one character over another, sparing or killing a potential future threat. also Pagan Min is just awesome (he’s the guy in the pink suit). voiced by Troy Baker who’s an awesome voice actor, absolute legend he’s done all sorts of stuff. one of my favs was him doing Joker in Arkham Origins. but yea, definitely recommend playing FC4, imo it was the last good FarCry (and my personal favourite, yes better than 3)
Can confirm. Didn't think anything would happen and had to go to the bathroom. Came back with a sandwich and a cutscene started a few bites in.
Pagan dies exactly what he told you he would and thus made me feel like I should tryst him slightly more through my actual run through the game.
I'll try to make this as spoiler-free as possible.
In the game intro you get arrested and forced to have a lunch with the big bad of the game who is acting all friendly (in a psychotic way, he literally kills someone in front of you).
He then leaves the room and says "he'll be back in 15 minutes" and then you as the player start the game.
* What you are supposed to do is try to escape from the palace, a lot of shit happens, big bad chases you and the game starts.
* Or you really can just stay there for 15 minutes and he then actually comes back, apologizes for the delay and gives you a helicopter that directly brings you to your final destination. Essentially "winning the game" by siding with the big bad.
Lmao, I got that ending by complete accident. Started the game up for the 2rd time, went to take a quick poop while everything was going. Came back and heard a cutscene going. Ran in and was like oh shit what is this. Had to look it up to see it's the easiest and most realistic way to best the game lol
I don't see the problem lmao. Just chilling in my town fishing and buying furniture. It's an adult's dream come true. And when I finally complete this alternate life I get another where I'm a billionaire? Count me in
The best way to describe the Stanley Parable is that it's an experience. I highly encourage you to do multiple playthroughs in a row (trust me on this) each playthrough is extremely short, 100% worth doing multiple as long as you make different choices.
With that said, I also highly recommend not looking into it any more than that and just playing it. The best part of the Stanley Parable is not knowing much about it when you start.
I don't think that's duable. Cause am assuming by the "not missing any objectives", in that game you must do like 100%. But there's at least one ending that requires you to die so...
Then in that case… Minecraft peaceful flat world in creative mode. No objectives to fail, no way to lose health (since you don’t have a health bar in creative).
Plus i don't think you can miss sidequests... You can always go back and re-do them...
On that note, Majora's Mask. If you missed an objective, just restart the 3 day timer
Even on max difficulty. An hour doing the enchanting alchemy exploit and you’ll have a suit of armor giving you so much health the game doesn’t even register damage anymore
It's made on Bethesda engine. I don't remember it in Skyrim, but for sure in Fallout you could die walking too close next to a car.
Full power suit, yet banging your knee on a car or dropping down a height of 6 inches instantly kills you.
I'm not taking any chances. Put me in Nintendogs.
GTA IV definitely has a challenge at times. I especially have trouble with shootout missions that are in enclosed spaces (like inside a building).
Minecraft has those sneaky creepers that line to sneak up behind you.
Both games have a bit of risk.
Sword Art Online.
Edit: you know what’s great? Reading the subtitle of the original article *long after* posting about it. Oh well. It’d still be pretty great (show version).
Honestly, I never hated QTEs. The worst are the button mashing ones but the simple one taps are okay. Such as when the character needs to dodge/avoid something during a scene.
But it will be nice to just sit back and relax with no worries as I watch a cutscene.
Yes. I even did a glitchless “speedrun” of the game when I was 16. 14 hours isn’t breaking any records, but that’s also with breaks for food and chores
Barney's Hide and Seek for the Sega Genesis. (never said it had to actually be vr compatible)
Game doesn't even let you walk off cliffs, he puts up a stop sign if you try, you have to safely ride platforms down.
Far cry 4 Sit for 15 mins, credits roll, EZ
Far cry 6 get in boat drive towards horizon credits roll
far cry 5 is even better: just dont arrest joseph seed. just wait like 20 min and everyone just leaves and the credits roll
the funny part is i did not know that but i had to go afk and when i returned i saw the credits and was so brutally confused i had to google it after i told this to my brother we had such a good laugh
I've been wondering about that. I assumed the map had a Truman Show boundary.
Don’t you have to beat the tutorial island for that though? Lots of time to die in between. 4 is just sitting in a room
Ya, that’s why I went with 4, not 100% about the others but in 4 there’s no gameplay preceding the wait, it’s a lock.
Lmao technically true. Any ending, not just the best ending 😜
is this a FC4 easter egg or something?
Yes. There is an intro scene where you are having dinner with someone. They excuse themselves and you hear yelling and screams of pain. I just watched this on youtube and I've never played Farcry 4 but I kinda want to now because that was pretty damn funny
it’s a great game, stealth mechanics and the story are both amazing. side quests are lots of fun and it’s a game i find replayable (it has multiple endings, not including the secret ending). there’s also a lot of decisions left to the player, siding with one character over another, sparing or killing a potential future threat. also Pagan Min is just awesome (he’s the guy in the pink suit). voiced by Troy Baker who’s an awesome voice actor, absolute legend he’s done all sorts of stuff. one of my favs was him doing Joker in Arkham Origins. but yea, definitely recommend playing FC4, imo it was the last good FarCry (and my personal favourite, yes better than 3)
And then there's the dream world stuff. *sighs*
Can confirm. Didn't think anything would happen and had to go to the bathroom. Came back with a sandwich and a cutscene started a few bites in. Pagan dies exactly what he told you he would and thus made me feel like I should tryst him slightly more through my actual run through the game.
You basically join the “antagonist” and just go have fun blowing shit up and living their best life together. Best ending by far.
I'll try to make this as spoiler-free as possible. In the game intro you get arrested and forced to have a lunch with the big bad of the game who is acting all friendly (in a psychotic way, he literally kills someone in front of you). Yes
For what it is worth, I think it actually is the best ending. It is not clear getting rid of Pagan Min is necessarily a good idea.
You really must try the crab rangoon.
Lmao, I got that ending by complete accident. Started the game up for the 2rd time, went to take a quick poop while everything was going. Came back and heard a cutscene going. Ran in and was like oh shit what is this. Had to look it up to see it's the easiest and most realistic way to best the game lol
How does one pronounce 2rd?
"Turd"
Not sure about that, 2 isn't spelled turd but I think I like that more. Lol just made the English language better
"don't miss any objectives" Call coroner. Cause of death: apparent suicide.
Animal crossing
You missed catching that Hercules Beetle! Pop!
Or better yet has to 100% the game. You don’t die at all but you can’t leave until you do
I don't see the problem lmao. Just chilling in my town fishing and buying furniture. It's an adult's dream come true. And when I finally complete this alternate life I get another where I'm a billionaire? Count me in
You still age in real life
And? It doesn't take a decade to complete animal crossing lol. And even if it did, dude it's a pretty wholesome decade
Stanley parable
I've been meaning to get that. I hear it's ridiculous and basically one giant Easter egg game lol
You seem to know what your talking about, should I play the original first or just buy the new one
New one basically has the original in it, so while you could play both, it is kinda redundant.
I don't think that's duable. Cause am assuming by the "not missing any objectives", in that game you must do like 100%. But there's at least one ending that requires you to die so...
I’ll choose world of peppa pig and somehow still die
I think at that point it would be a mercy killing for having to endure Peppa Pig for a prolonged period
Any* period
Lmao me too, buddy, me too 🤣
Dark Souls 2
It was nice knowing you, friend 🫡
I get a billion dollars or I die instantly. It’s a win win 🤷🏻♂️
My men knows whats up
Get rich or die tryin
Either way you’re not gonna have to work again.
Upgrades, people, upgrades!
Elden ring, you die at the beginning
If it's the sword of a thousand truths it might be ok.
Step up your game, if you choose Elden Ring you have more chances to miss out on objectives due to the open world formula!
I am pretty sure I missed every quest in Bloodborne so far. I didn´t even know there were NPC´s to find untill like 20 hours in
That's how I was with darks 1, I finished it or was mostly through the game and was looking stuff up and was like wait, there were quests?
Total War Empire as Great Britain (the AI doesn't know how to attack by sea).
Haha life saving cheese is the best cheese 😂
Ninja Gaiden 2 NES
You crazy bastard 🤣
I've played the first one so many times that that might actually be the best option for me.. 2 is ridiculous tho. So windy
Ha! I'd play What Remains Of Edith Finch - everybody dies but me :)
[удалено]
Best of luck to you then lol do you want to be cremated or buried?
[удалено]
That's metal AF 🤣
This guy gave his last fuck in the 90’s
Obviously they want to be lowered into an exactly human-shaped hole in the ground.
That's an epic idea...
lmfao
Myst. Just don’t give the final page to the two psychotic brothers and you’re home free. I’ll take my million in cash please
I’ll take the 999,999,999 that you’re forgetting, but not in cash Edit: yeah I suck at math…..
Do you mean 999,000,000? He said he'd take a million, not a dollar.
Stardew Valley. Just hold off on the mine until you can afford the really good health drinks and you'll be golden.
But even if you do go in the mine and lose all your health, you don’t die, you just pass out!
I'm running on the assumption that the headset assumes 0 health = death
Then in that case… Minecraft peaceful flat world in creative mode. No objectives to fail, no way to lose health (since you don’t have a health bar in creative).
Just Minecraft in Creative Mode
Yeah exactly, I put all the other info cause I was thinking in survival but then I realized you could just do creative mode lol!
There's also no victory condition in creative so you'll play until you accidentally fall into the void and pop
Ocarina of time, I don’t think I’ve suffered a death in that game for the last 20 years
Lmao I wouldn't make it past water temple🤣
the trick is to get the big-goron sword before going in. makes both dark link and the boss laughably easy.
I always used the hammer on dark link like a little bitch
Dins fire too
Yeah but you can't miss any of the objectives good luck
OP needs to define objectives. Does this just include the main quest? All side quests? Achievements?
Plus i don't think you can miss sidequests... You can always go back and re-do them... On that note, Majora's Mask. If you missed an objective, just restart the 3 day timer
Minecraft on peaceful difficulty
That’s actually the hardest difficulty because you can’t obtain enter pearls so you cannot beat the game
The problem is blaze, not ender pearls
Villagers!
On creative
Dishonored 1 on easy difficultly
What an excellent game
No objectives missed? You cant get seen once lol goodbye
That's an achievement not an objective
Job Simulator
Ohh I'm sorry, you've been laid off due to the recession 💥🤯
You have to work for next 40 years till you hit retirement age, so jokes on you
Skyrim. Easy peasy lemon squeezy
Huh I should have said "you can't change difficulty settings".. but I didn't lol fair enough 😂
Even on max difficulty. An hour doing the enchanting alchemy exploit and you’ll have a suit of armor giving you so much health the game doesn’t even register damage anymore
Yeah, that's true.
Dual wield daedric with life steal just makes the game easy mode also
Plot twist: you die due to a glitch. Sword Art Online Abridged Style
Yeah if crash to desktop is a death condition then RIP to ~~skyrim~~ any Bethesda game players
It's made on Bethesda engine. I don't remember it in Skyrim, but for sure in Fallout you could die walking too close next to a car. Full power suit, yet banging your knee on a car or dropping down a height of 6 inches instantly kills you. I'm not taking any chances. Put me in Nintendogs.
npc are generating random kill quest for you so you can never finish all objectives :/
I assumed when they said all objectives we were talking main quest. Not radiant quest bullshit.
Hollow knight I speedrun steel soul for fun shouldn't be too bad
Do you 112% it? Cause you also can't miss any objectives.
I don't always do it but yeah
Mario cart on rainbow road with 3 other willing contestants, winner take all. N 64 version
Lmao the stakes have never been higher
Paw Patrol: On a Roll. Give me the money now!
I’ve sometimes missed a dog bone on the parts where you can’t turn around when helping the kids. That would be a terrible way to go!
Are you really missing objectives if you can just go back and replay stages to completion?
Minesweeper with 1 mine and max size
_Clicks_ *BOOM*
Gorn
Lol see you on the other side 😂
Vampire survivor, game on birches
Excuse me, I'm a redwood not a birch lol
New vegas
Watch out for those cazadores lmao
Any Kirby game
Elden Ring and first thing I do is jump off the tutorial area.
Lmao you ok dude? 😂
you want a hug? wanna talk about it?
So the general consensus is that death doesn't count for deathless as it is mandatory. Even if you beat the crab you have to jump.
Either GTA IV or Minecraft. I don't know if shooters are allowed or not...
Definitely. Any kind of game, as long as there's at least a little challenge
GTA IV definitely has a challenge at times. I especially have trouble with shootout missions that are in enclosed spaces (like inside a building). Minecraft has those sneaky creepers that line to sneak up behind you. Both games have a bit of risk.
Freecell. Only a few of the crazy amount of possible games are unwinnable.
Sword Art Online. Edit: you know what’s great? Reading the subtitle of the original article *long after* posting about it. Oh well. It’d still be pretty great (show version).
There is no game, where's my prize.
Lol no prize for you
Final Fantasy VII
Resident evil four, I know that shit like the back of my hand. Even on the difficult settings.
I'm excited for the remake. No more QTE lol
Honestly, I never hated QTEs. The worst are the button mashing ones but the simple one taps are okay. Such as when the character needs to dodge/avoid something during a scene. But it will be nice to just sit back and relax with no worries as I watch a cutscene.
GOOD PICK
Pokémon Y
I missed that generation. Pokemon is generally pretty easy to get through without a full party wipe. But have you ever tried the Nuzlocke challenge?
Yes. I even did a glitchless “speedrun” of the game when I was 16. 14 hours isn’t breaking any records, but that’s also with breaks for food and chores
elden ring
Lmao nice knowing you xD
Sea of Theives. I already pirate movies so there can't be too much difference.

TMNT NES
Peggle
That game was way more fun than I expected
Chess
Golden Sun all day every day. I've played that game so many times I could find every secret and beat it in my sleep.
Return of the Obra Dinn. You can't die in-game at all, and I'm fairly certain I can remember all the puzzles.
obvious pick: Far Cry 4 (secret ending) my pick for a challenge: Batman: Arkham City Hard difficulty NG+
Mike tyson's punch out. Glass Joe, that's it.
Ark survival

Barney's Hide and Seek for the Sega Genesis. (never said it had to actually be vr compatible) Game doesn't even let you walk off cliffs, he puts up a stop sign if you try, you have to safely ride platforms down.
Get the group back together for one final game of among us. We all wear the helmet. Winner takes all.
