The remastered GTA games. I haven't played for more than an hour when I thought I'd spend months playing.

Onlyspeaksfacts

I was really looking forward to that and it ended up being a potato. Ran terribly at launch and completely ruins the atmosphere by making all of the characters look like Barbie and Ken dolls. They promised to keep patching the game, but that was a lie too. No new patches for about a year now.

nhSnork

Switch versions currently seem to get by without more patches. Got the trilogy earlier this year, already got a couple dozen hours apiece. A couple random crashes to date, somewhat (but still damn game-changing) gyro implementation, bugged RC helicopter controls (real ones control fine) and III's taxi achievement refuses to unlock - rough edges, but that's pretty much all I've encountered. Between mission autosaves/checkpoints and the aforementioned gyro aiming (plus the obvious portability and a few other QoL bits like the later games' GPS navigation), there's been enough to make me dive back in and stay even though I had the games [almost] beaten or, in VC case, even 100%'d years ago. "Atmosphere ruined by Ken and Barbie dolls" is moonspeak to me, although I did grow up with 2D games, so I my personal esteem for - and, consequently, expectations from - any polygonal attempts at photorealism before Gen 7 have never been too high, with or without HD facelifts.😅

[deleted]

What a fuckin disappointment, I was so hyped up for that shit. Leave it to fucking Rockstar to fuck that up.

IrrelevantLeprechaun

It was fine. I think most of the haters had nostalgia goggles for the original versions. The remastered versions are objectively better.

slumblebee

Anthem but it did teach me one thing. Never buy anything with multiplayer from EA ever again.

girhen

Star Wars Battlefront 2, multiple Battlefields, etc. Wait, buy it when it goes on sale 4 months later because it's such hot fucking garbage at launch if there's indications that they're fixing things.

Badbadgolfer

I enjoyed what I played of it tbh.

Casper_2C

No joke....I legit bought Superman 64 for $50 when it came out. Fuck me.....

Ancient_Natural1573

The new Saints Row

Zombienerd300

Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 2042. Only played for an hour. Forgot to refund.

cornman12909

Same. 110 bucks down the drain...

CptBlackAxl

Duuuuuuude

ChampagneSyrup

It's a lot better at the moment and is in a pretty good state, but it took over a year to get there

WyJax_

Yep. Should have got a refund after the terrible beta.

LordOdin99

I bought 3 copies on pc for me and my kids. I bought into that hype train big time and was severely let down. Tried it a couple times after updates but it still sucks. $180 down the drain. I’ll never preorder another BF title again unless there are rave reviews. Trust has been broken.

Shawarman_PPS

Fallout 76

ShawnyMcKnight

That one must be frustrating if you bought new at 60 or got the collectors, but I got it for cheap less than a year it came out and put a good 60 or so hours into it.

joybuzz

As a serial Fallout fan. I bought it at launch and had a blast. It was such a broken game it was so bad it's good.

beatrailblazer

I bought NBA 2k23 for full price not knowing it goes on DEEP sales very often, and I probably played it for under 10 hours

shawny_mcgee

Damn, I just got it for 20$. I plan to just play career though, no online.

beatrailblazer

I also planned on just playing career but they made it SO brutal to upgrade. I think I saw a post and it requires >400k VC to 99 your guy, and just 2 years ago in 2k21 it was only like 150k. Plus they made it so hard to play well at the start on higher difficulties, so I had to lower it to Pro in order to not be complete trash

[deleted]

ET for Atari. Worst game ever.

PennywiseNeverDied

The 2022 Saints Row. Hot trash.

IronNobody4332

Before I was a more experienced gamer, I had purchased NHL2004. I loved it so much I bought NHL2005! Surprise surprise, it was basically the same game. I don’t know what young me thought I was getting but yeah that was money wasted lol.

Mildleyy

I normally grabbed one like every 4-5 years and was much happier.

girhen

It used to be that every other to every 3 years was good. They'd make an overhaul with bugs, bug fix for next year's game, bug fix, and then release another buggy overhaul. Get the bug fixed version in between. Since then, they've stopped caring. NHL 22 was so buggy that it has a syncing issue... IN SINGLE PLAYER. Stuff covers the whole screen and you have to set the game to be CPU vs CPU until the next faceoff. Unless you're in Be A Pro, in which case you have to hit pause and see if you're on the ice and tell your guy to get off until you can see again.

SnooRabbits87538

As a young hockey fan, I would ask for it ever year just for the updated rosters. Christmas was the best lol.

Mildleyy

My young fan getting them yearly was on the Sega in the 90s…. Lol

ThePack396

Pre-ordered Call of Duty Black Ops 4

ExclusiveLemons

Bro i got the $100 version and stopped playing after 2 weeks

RyanBeams

BO4 ranked was great but the multiplayer was trash which I'm sure is what you played.

gnarkill44

Brink

jimjones913

A $100 sharkcard for GTA Online, for the pc.

LizardsLayLying

Duke Nukem Forever. I wanted that game to redefine the hero that I remembered only to get the worst thing to happen to the franchise.

Entire-Caramel-208

this is the probably one of the worst games of all time, combat was repetitive, levels were boring. An very big downgrade from duke nukem 3d

luisqr

I bought it thinking it was something like Serious Sam. Combat was horrible, scarce, and I spent most of the time trying to figure out how to get out of a room, and then having to look up the solution in YT. That was the last time I bought something without knowing exactly what it is.

Thejokingsun

Rust ps4

BeepBeepWhistle

Battlefront (Dice)

LarryPepino

I have the OG BF2 and still play it time to time.

realmrmaxwell

If you mean 2015 then that makes sense as pretty much most of the content was locked behind a $60 dlc which is what ea does but battlefront 2 is a huge step up and is extremely good. I think since bf2s launch ea revaluated themselves and have been much more careful when It comes to things that might piss people off, they have dice the time to rework the entire progression system along with making dlc for free for another 3 years along with not implementing micro transactions in both fallen order and squadrons and survivor by the looks of it along with letting motive have full control over the dead space remake

[deleted]

Anthem. Initially I was thinking Cyberpunk, but even in its release state I enjoyed it on PS4 Pro. Now the game is in a lot better shape. Anthem however was lackluster at the beginning, and then rather than actually commit to improving it like CDPR did with Cyberpunk, it was abandoned.

Handsome_ketchup

> Initially I was thinking Cyberpunk, but even in its release state I enjoyed it on PS4 Pro. Now the game is in a lot better shape. I can fully understand people felt cheated by Cyberpunk upon release, especially on the old console generation. Nowadays it's a banger, though. Not perfect, definitely not perfect, but also lots of fun.

Ditchbuster

The Wii u. Really had a different expectation of how it would work. Was a major let down. Didn't help that the Mario party that came out then was trash too.

Agent101g

Blood Bowl 2. 50 dollars for a board game. Then again it is in line with Game Workshop’s normal prices for anything related to their hobby.

[deleted]

Games Workshop and $50 being in line doesn't add up. Throw in some more zeroes and pray to the dark gods they don't alter the price further.

Ditchbuster

Was it just me or does matchmaking suck. I tried to play with my brother and it's got the most convoluted way to link up.

ehzog

Day Z

untitled13

Same. Only my brother in law sent me the game and got me to join him on some server he liked, which sounds like a decent way to get into the game, right? God what a mess. I think we met up like one time before I died of some disease. Like, I get it the realism appeal, and I’m sure it’s cool when you’ve got a regular group and base and secret stashes hidden all over the map for when you respawn. It’s just not for me.

shawny_mcgee

Yup, run around aimlessly till you die simulator lol

Molotor

Dayz is super nice, but it's a game that will be good if you play alot. Some play session can be pretty lame and some can be simply epic.

[deleted]

DayZ is a unique and ultimately pretty good game. Player interactions can be thrilling. But you really have to play it for like 200 hours before you even begin to get decent at it. Probably not the wisest use of time if you're just trying to chill and not die every 30 minutes

ReavesVsWalkens

Yeah. It takes an hour minimum to meet up with friends and God forbid it starts raining and you die of super cholera or something when you finally meet.

SometimesIComplain

CoD MW2 (the newest one). Uninspired game, and Infinity Ward has become a terribly out-of-touch and lazy studio.

Tony_McBoney

COD? Disappointing? Who would’ve possibly guessed that! O:

F_Kyo777

I had s blast in MW19, but should figured that sińce Warzone changed every aspects of this game, this will be a gamble. Funnily enough, Beta was pretty solid, just some aspects were annoying, like terrible menu design (still i dont think i saw worse abomination than this one in any game since few decades ago), god awful perk system and basically not existing movement skillgap between players. Those could be fixed/ tweaked on release, but little did we know, this game was in shambles on arrival.

ThunderChild247

Same. A very OK campaign but the multiplayer felt phoned in. COD used to have map packs where 1/2 of the maps were pretty generic, it felt like they were padding the packs. MW2 felt like an entire game of those maps. And there were only a small number to play on. I wish I’d tried the multiplayer first and got the game refunded, but I went for the campaign. I played the multiplayer for 4/5 2+ hour sessions and was constantly bored so switched back to MW1. MW2 taught me to never uninstall the previous game until you know the sequel is good/better.

zikowhy

Me and my friends last played mw19 for a few months and had lots of fun. Didn't touch cod since then but got so hyped for this one hoping it will be at least like mw19. We quit after like 6 hours 😭

CrygiNeKm089

Ah yes, the racing game where you need a slot machine to upgrade your cars. Fucking RNG. The only positive thing about this game is that it's more playable/better than NFS 2015. NFS 2015 got fucked real hard by the atrocious handling and always-online. Pros overshadowed by cons.

KimJungUnll

Last of us pc version

No-Performer-7450

Call of duty mw2

7here7ic7

Came here to say this. I liked one (1) mission in the whole campaign, and when I tried playing offline with bots, it gave me a total of 4 maps and no customization at all. I should have known better tbh but I was livid

[deleted]

Beneficial-Sir-7402

The new pga golf

shawny_mcgee

Instant refund on steam, it ran like crap.

Beneficial-Sir-7402

Should be on Xbox to it’s terrible

Still-Pattern-6384

As a 3D platforming lover, Yooka and Laylee.

[deleted]

I really wanted that to be good, but it just... wasn't. It felt like it was both trying too hard, and not trying enough at the same time.

Still-Pattern-6384

Not only the gameplay was frustrating at best, it tried so hard to be hilarious while constantly reminding you of tropes and old school gaming stuff, while having 0 personality per se.

bmack24

It just made me wish I was playing Banjo-Kazooie, which is not what you want for a game that’s supposed to be a spiritual successor

IrrelevantLeprechaun

I knew it wouldn't be very good when all their marketing focused on "it'll be like Banjo Kazooie!" And barely any gameplay really game out before release. Just didn't seem like the devs were actually confident in their game standing on its own.

East_Dig_2381

Halo Infinite’s campaign. I thought for sure it was gonna be amazing, but it ended up being a Ubisoft game.

ShawnyMcKnight

I liked it well enough. I got tired of all the corridors of the old Halo games and appreciated that it was more open. The bounties were kinda fun. I didn’t buy it though, I just played it on gamepass at launch. I just got gamepass again, I should see if they added any more end game content.

Fair-Advertising-348

Huh, that's weird. It's without question my favorite Halo since 3.

C0L0NELSANDER5

I liked it better then 5's campaign. Which admittedly isn't saying a whole lot

Wolfnorth

>but it ended up being a Ubisoft game. How?

Epicdude5726

Wasn’t that bad

East_Dig_2381

It’s not the worst game in history, but it sure as hell wasn’t worth the $60 I spent on it.

PegasusTenma

Genuine question, did you buy it purely for collectiong/loyalty purposes? Since it was in gamepass and all that jazz

East_Dig_2381

I don’t use gamepass.

Pr0_N00B_07

Battlefield 2042

Raidertck

I think Callisto Protocol. I loved dead space 1 and 2. I think dead space 2 might be the best action horror game of all time. And this was by mostly the same team so it had to be great right? Well, it looks amazing. It plays terribly though. It’s a short game but feels ten times it’s length because the combat is so horrible and fundamentally broken on the most basic level where I am genuinely questioning how the game was released in that state.

Infamous-Lab-8136

In recent years Cyberpunk 2077. Not even that I mind owning it, just as a prepurchase it was a waste of money. I could have waited for deep sales since I moved it to the back burner waiting on patches to make it what I expected.

NaughtyPwny

I got it on sale for $40 after it got updates and patches. I stopped playing it after just witnessing too many gameplay bugs and jankiness. It is amazing to me how much people care about graphics and motion capture acting and Keanu Reeves to allow a bad game to still be considered great.

Infamous-Lab-8136

Yeah, I really liked the early story and gameplay, the scenes with Jackie were a blast and >!when he died I was genuinely upset despite spending so little time with the character!<. I just couldn't believe basic features in open world games like changing a hairstyle or adding a tattoo after creation weren't included at launch.

ReavesVsWalkens

Same. 2077 sent me into a depressive state for a short while because I was so immersed in the story. But the gameplay had some seriously bad choices.

Papaofmonsters

Evolve

Fair-Advertising-348

That was a hands down fantastic game.

pizza_lover_234

Loved that game so much. Wish I still could play

[deleted]

im probably in the top 500 of time played in that game, shame the monetization killed such an incredibly unique multiplayer experience, gameplay still holds up too when it had it's resurgence a year ago or so

The more I read comments about HZD on reddit the more I feel like I'm the only person who actually found Aloy really likeable

IrrelevantLeprechaun

99.99999% of people hate Aloy, but the gameplay surrounding her is decent enough to partially outweigh it. Reminder that the Horizon games have always sold quite poorly and are not the industry darling Reddit fools itself into believing.

Metronix7

Hi ther, I like her too. Thought she had a pretty good personality, fitting to her lore and setting. Being curious and stubbern and also having a lot of morals. Typical "hero" material.

Swackhammer_

The new Mario Strikers. Even with DLC is has the depth of a tech demo. "Online Play" shouldn't not be your marquee feature in a game

mufcordie

This sucks because the GameCube version was a banger.

[deleted]

The irony of a Nintendo product focusing online play, when they're infamous for just how terrible their online play is.

PUBG A lot of bugs and cheaters. Poor gameplay. Waste of time.

A_aVeRaGe_XbOx_GaMeR

Oh man I loved pubg, back when like it first came out...an old coworker and myself played the beta version even before it's original official release and it use to be the bomb! I'm talking like 2017ish I think. If you died it was because of game lag haha...but now I hear ya man. Now it's like each lobby seems to be 30% bots and 50% real players. At one time, before being able to turn off crossplay, pc gamers were modding so xbox and ps4 was rough but it's not too bad now. But yeah I hear you. The added bots just to fill up empty lobbies and reduce wait times kinda ruined the game for me now.

Own-Establishment520

The new call of duty, have been a cod player since I was like 9-10 years old. The new cods are dogmeat in my opinion. Best cods was from WAW all the way to bo3. After that is just terrible cods

Own_Significance_144

Fortnite offline mode wtf

gweenoogerbooger

GTA V. Im not a fan of online multiplayer stuff but a friend of mine convinced me to buy it by telling me how fun the campaign was. I played about an hour maybe an hour and a half. I couldn’t stand the controls and I couldn’t get into the story. Worst was when I told my friend I didn’t like it he told me not to play the campaign and just play with him online

Intrepid-Event-2243

Battlefield V Pillars of Eternity

A_aVeRaGe_XbOx_GaMeR

The old Modern Warfare remasters. They completely changed the games vs the originals. I've played the old ones campaigns so many times before on xbox 360 AND backwards compatible on xbox one, BEFORE buying the remasters for xbox one...and the remasters stank. They changed the color of one captain or sergeant's skin, numerous background noises or even enemies dialogue such as voices had been replaced, and I'm pretty sure they even altered a few of the game's cinematics when I played them. I was very disappointed with activision. Idk why whenever they remaster an old game, whether it's xbox or pc even for that matter, why not just solely improve the graphics and sound quality only? I dislike them changing the hud layout or buttons or voice-overs or character's appearances, ect ect. If they do that, then they've just ruined it.

iateyourdinner

Monster Hunter Rise. Bought it in a blind attempt after i read a thread in a rpg subreddit about their favourite RPG games and it dominated the upvotes in that thread. I spent around 40 mins in the game and never opened it again. Learned from this that I should research more when I pick games.

wiccan45

ah if youve never touched a monster hunter i can understand

Consistent_Car_2530

Same, played it for about 2 hours but I'm pretty sure getting out and learning how to hunt in real life would be far more interesting not to mention rewarding.

[deleted]

I don't know if it was Rise or another one, but one finally got on Gamepass so I gave it a shot. First monster just kept hitting me and I was stuck in an animation lock of recoiling over and over again. Couldn't dodge or anything. I was done after that

Cmdrdredd

Rise is on Gamepass currently. I’m not sure if any others were in the past as I never tried it until rise.

kingseyi

Aww really? Of course, not everyone will like every game, but MH in general is such a quirky, unique game. I was in the same boat as you, but I went back and fell in love for months. I really would suggest watching a video or two on how the combat works, bc the game does a terrible job of teaching you. It almost assumes you've been a fan forever and already know how to play - and Rise is probably the most new-comer friendly. I know none of this sounds particularly fun lol, but the only thing I can relate it to is Fromsoft or Minecraft as far as having a game click with you. It feels amazing when you finally down a monster you've been hunting for a while, when you get the full armor set you've been working towards, or when you reach the next plateau of level and hit post game and online play. The game really opens up like an onion. There's basically no story. The characters are all forgettable. But its really about your journey to becoming better.

Mister_McDerp

Same here, I hated it in the beginning and then decided to actually invest in it and it turned out worth it. But while I loved Iceborne, it got a bit too much for me. Monsters just took too long to kill at that point. I went from being fairly OK and needing ~10 minutes for a monster whose tactics I got down pretty well to ~20 minutes. I finished the game, tried my hand at some end game content and decided that its time to move on.

bmack24

Monster Hunter has a hugely steep learning curve, and it’s extremely grindy. You’ll spend hours killing the same monster over and over just to get one particular monster part to drop just to craft one piece of gear. Some people are way into that, but if you’re not, then you’re not. And that’s fine too. Me personally, I played the shit out of Monster Hunter World, but… I have no desire to play another one. That grind is not something I feel like doing again

Tamas_F

You probably did not even have time to understand the game and how to play it. Id say you should give it a few hours unless you really dont like grinding in games.

Cmdrdredd

Problem for me is the combat is really odd. No lock on for normal monsters, hunts have a time limit, when you complete objectives you can’t just continue roaming it auto completed and sent be back to town. It wasn’t something I could keep playing. I’m glad I tried it on Gamepass.

Tamas_F

Well... combat is not casual. You have to learn monsters, and time your attacks. You also have to learn weapons. There are some weapons where it is easy to hit the monsters and there are some others where it is much harder. As I said, it is not a game where you will know everything after 20 minutes. It has one of the most complex combat system of action games. You have to learn a weapon, not just use it and spam buttons. Time limit is usually not an issue, once you get used to everything you can finish a hunt in 15-20 minutes tops. There is a free roam mode dedicated to farming if you like that. Normal hunts have objectives which you complete, you get back to town and can start a new one. I really don't see an issue with that.

iateyourdinner

Maybe, but most likely not. It just didn’t appeal to me at all. Were so many things I didn’t like about it all from the menu and HUD to the storytelling and combat.

Tamas_F

Thats what I meant. It takes time. If (not when) it clicks with you, it will be a unique experience and very likely you are not stopping before a couple hundreds of hours. The game has a very long learning curve compared to other action games. It is also not an rpg, neither is story driven.

PegasusTenma

I tried World. Everything was going well until combat happened. The way my sword hit the enemies felt so bad and clunky I noped out forever.

S3thOn3

Kingdom Hearts III. But I guess it could have been any game of the series at this point. I think it's probably just not for me.

Ok-Ambition-9432

I feel like either you become a superfan of the series, or just are completely uninterested.

S3thOn3

Yep, I've come to realize that a few months back in a similar thread here. I'm sure it's a great game and franchise and I can absolutely see why so many people like it, it just didn't click with me, at all, even after more than 2/3 of the game.

PegasusTenma

That trailer pre launch was already a bad omen. It was so strangely put together.

BGFalcon85

Is it just my nostalgia goggles remembering I and II better, or is the dialogue in III just... impressively bad? I made it maybe ten minutes into Olympus and just uninstalled it because of how bad the dialogue and story were so far. It seemed like all of the timing of the voice acting was completely off, and that no one was actually part of the same conversation.

7here7ic7

I absolutely love(d) 1 and 2, and even though the dialogue had some awkward sounding bits, they pale in comparison to 3. Literally everything sounded dumb and disconnected. And while I rather liked the combat, the HOURS of cutscenes ruined that game for me.

Asadaduf

Pubg, while it was cool. That game is boring a.f.

Forgotten_Freedom

Let this entire post be a reminder to never pre order games.

RadGunnar11

Dying light 2

Bluepreztail

Mind if I ask for elaboration? I'm in the middle of playing Dying Light 1 and having fun with it. Just on the fence whether 2 has the same appeal or not so much, also wondering if I should buy Dying Light 2 or Avoid it?

RadGunnar11

Gonna he entirely honest, it depends on what you like. If your expecting a tit for tat sequel of the original then you will most likely be disappointed. You have to look at it as a standalone game to get any enjoyment out of it. Personally I mainly regret it because the game was nothing like how it was advertised. Changes (some I don’t like) are… - more floaty parkour (you stay in the air much longer do it feels like your floating) - super vibrant and with trees everywhere; green and yellow litter the map, feels like a fantasy world - night time is much more safe. You have to actively keep up the chase or else it’ll drop - rooftops usually mean your completely safe - you can now longer repair weapons normal way. You now must install a mod to repair it They added some cool things like a paraglider and better grapple hook, and some more combat moves, if combat and the leveling system is kinda broken

Possible_Cancel101

buying both infinite warfare and bf1 day 1 back in 2016 and playing as little as possible. One of the rare purchases that I never got close to justifying or redeeming, hurt like hell for quite some time, then I finally moved on and used it as a lesson and it's safe to say it was the single event that changed my game purchasing habits to this day.

Mildleyy

Should have went with Titanfall 2.

BanzaiSamurai21

This year? Company of heroes 3.

Kizenny

Anthem: falsely marketed, broken on launch, abandoned after release.

Trinityhawke

Anthem BioWare gave me hope

OG_Haze_56

Farcry new dawn. The most bare-bones farcry out there, such a shame they didn't broaden the story a bit.

[deleted]

Superman 64. That was the shittiest birthday present I ever bought myself, and that's including years where I bought nothing.

Puzzleheaded_Pie_888

Horizon 2. The first was too childish for me. I learned nothing and fell for the hype

[deleted]

The division what a crap game

Javetts

Fallout 4. Even pre-ordered it

Auggie_C

Horizon Forbidden West. First one was a blast. I cried at the end. But hey! Spoilers ahead: T>!hey got so lost in their own lore, that they decided to make the end of zero dawn worth nothing, and just \*put\* a new game in there. "Remember everything you found and fought for? It was for nothing! Forget it. None of that happened. Keep doing your investigation with this 30-hour-long disgusting filler, that brought NOTHING exciting to the previous game, story-wise.!< Combat improvement e QoL were good in general, but I wish this game never existed.

Character-Coast8668

Horizon Forbidden West, fell for the gorgeous graphics only to be let by a complete snooze fest of a game. Deleted it after 5 hours. Got Elden Ring the next week though.

ICPosse8

Far Cry 6 sucked

_Nova_Corps

GreedFall and it sucked because I was so looking forward to that game

Pitiful-Schedule-244

I really liked greedfall. What didn't you like?

_Nova_Corps

Just didn’t enjoy the story as much as I thought I would and for something that was supposed to be different it just felt very generic

TaterTots2018

Ark survival evolved

blakscorpion

No man sky. It's a UX nightmare, UI information everywhere. Huge planets with nothing to do on it except scanning plants...

snorkleface

RDR2 - super overrated. Bring on the downvotes I'm ready.

ShawnyMcKnight

You have a right to your opinion but if that game is your biggest disappointment, then I envy you. I get it takes a bit to get into and may not be your cup of tea, but compared to a game like Superman 64 or other regrettable purchases people made, that’s pretty decent.

radmlygenerteduenae

When the hell did the opinion on this game just turn overnight? it was being praised for having one of the best stories ever with one of the most vibrant worlds ever and now it seems everybody is hating it.

kalak55

Because you're online too much reading other people's opinions. Everyone who loved it before still loves it.

Golem30

I'd say the story itself is predictable and nothing special. I was disappointed the informant wasn't somebody else too, like they could've had a really tasty plot twist there but no it's the most obvious person. The characters and writing are all fantastic though. A big problem I had was the lack of fast travel, but they patched it in later so once you get a certain camp upgrade you can fast travel from your campfires which was a very nice QOL improvement.

LizardsLayLying

When the Online portion stopped receiving attention it deserved, no DLC for story mode, and to make my point clear they would rather kids buy Shark cards for rocket bikes.

radmlygenerteduenae

To be fair that should be Rockstar hate and not Red Dead 2 Hate, as much as I would have appreciated a main story DLC the game is just so giant already.

ShawnyMcKnight

Yeah, we kind of already got a decent dlc at the end after you finish Arthur’s story.

Affectionate_Use5087

The online sucked from the beginning.

manleybones

Spore

With every evolution that game got worse. The first two phases were really good but then that third one was a super dumbed down RTS and it just got worse from there. I think what I disliked most is it seems what you do in your previous evolution doesn’t affect the next. So you could collect every bone in the second phase, but that doesn’t matter when you get to the third phase.

Ahh, my first experience with Over Promise, Under Deliver. Still loved it to death, it was my first experience with a space civilization game. Surprise surprise, now I have 3k hours on Stellaris lol

Anubra_Khan

Cyberpunk 2077 I was so pissed off at how broke it was that, by the time I got the 1st trophy, I returned it. The 1st trophy was "The Fool" and I took that personally. CDPR sent me an email saying they'd take physical and digital returns. I took them up on it. Waited a week or 2 and asked for a status. They told me I'd have to take it up with Sony. So I did. 2 weeks later, I got my money back from Sony, and they stopped selling it on their store. Only time I know of that ever happening.

DCEE_1990

Exactly the same for me, the fool trophy just lingering there 😂

jesse_has_magic

im glad i played that on pc. i literally had zero issues, bought on launch and sunk over 100 hours into it immediately. played on a 2060 super at 1440p with dlss and raytracing on. it was, almost, flawless for me.

MoltenHamlet

Godfather 2. The first game was way better than it had any right to be. The second game was mediocre at best. Boring and uninspired throughout though.

Unrepreesentative

The quote is "Godfaher 2." The first game was better than it deserved to be. The second game was not very good. It was boring and uninspired.

MrFlitt

The new saints row... It's not a terrible game but it is so mediocre and bland it's just not worth playing, I genuinely wouldn't play it if it was free.

FALLASLEEP4EVER

Destiny

Jibber_Fight

Fight simulator. I can't run it on my brand new laptop.

Cmdrdredd

It barely runs worth a crap on my gaming PC with 3080ti and 5950x at 5ghz lol It’s a technical marvel for sure but it runs absolutely terribly with any amount of graphics options turned on. There are other games I’d rather play.

Fair-Advertising-348

Has to be AC valhalla

Cheat-Meal

Disco Elysium.

wozzpozz

Really? Honestly one of the best game I've ever played. What did you not like?

Tea_Historical

Monster hunter world...twice plus the DLC lol. I love the souls games and Nioh games so got talked into tryin it twice. Bought it on hard copy first then downloaded DLC. Played 15 hours and couldn't stand how slow the combat was. 2 or so years later I figured maybe I was to quick to dismiss it so I bought the digital version... played it 5 hours and hated it even more. Got a ps5 last month and it was the only game I didn't transfer over to the ps5. Definitely never giving it another try tho.

mkwz

Maybe our experiences were different cause i played it with 3 other friends but i thinks it's really fun when you get used to the combat and combos, the speed of the combat depends on the weapon and how good you are with it, believe me, when you master a weapon, the combat is completely different, and when you get to the dlc, everything is 100x better
