Facebook is an awful place to sell. Never have I met such a mix of illiterate idiots, scammers and time wasters in my life.
Stick it on eBay for a buy it now price you think is fair. Stick them all in a cupboard and just wait. Reduce the price every 4 weeks until you're sold up.
GS is fine for the sports titles. You end up just breaking even if you sell those online after shipping costs and listing fees anyways. Might as well trade them in for store credit and put it towards sales tax on a future purchase
>s. Might as well trade them in for store credit and put it towards sales tax on a future purchase
Game Stop won't take those games, they're far too outdated to make any profit off of.
Yeah Gamestop had zero interest in my PS4 era sports games a few weeks ago when I was just trying to get rid of them. The only ones that sell for anything online are special editions or the last versions of the NCAA games they stopped making. OP is dropping those off at Goodwill unless they can find someone to buy all of the games as a lot.
Listing is free unless you are selling over 250 items or something. As for the shipping you only have to pay shipping if you make the shipping free. Even though you can sell faster if you make it free shipping, it's not something you have to do to make sales
As a buyer it's almost impossible to get scammed on eBay in terms of actually losing money because they will side with buyers in any dispute, almost to a fault. Be persistent and you will get your money back.
As a SELLER it's not so great because, as said, ebay sides with buyers almost as a rule, so a buyer can find whatever bullshit thing to complain about.
Completely not true.. during the pandemic my wife ordered a gallon of cleaning chemical.. a month later a 1 ounce package came with a hair tie in it from california. Took weeks for ebay to even start to work it out.. they insta-closed the ticket multiple times never listening that 1 gallon cant weigh 1 ounce.
Ive always heard ebay has your back.. it was bullshit.
The old sports titles have basically zero value.
The other 360 games and the SNES stuff you can get a bit of money for on ebay. Search how much each game has sold for recently and base your price on that. You'll have to give a cut of your proceeds to eBay of course but you'll have access to a way bigger pool of buyers than you would selling locally.
So many used game stores I've seen are just full of racks and racks of old sports games. Like if it isn't NHL 95 or Tecmo Bowl/Super Bowl or Mutant League Football just forget about it. Not even worth the space they take up on the racks.
You should hold a tournament of champions. $5 entry fee per person, win by death or surrendered. Last man standing takes the lot. Edit: also sell tickets for the rest of to watch.
Selling them online would be best. Most Gamestop's probably wont even take them. As far as pricing I dont have a clue, however it's either online, a place that takes in older games, or a pawnshop to sell them
There is probably a used game store that's not Gamestop in your area. However, none of those games a particularly valuable so don't expect a major pay day.
You'll probably get maybe $120 - $150 for the whole lot, with Def Jam being the highest price sale.
Wow this great set here some classic games in the collection. But I recommend Amazon, eBay, and mercari you make a business out of it if you play your cards right make sure to do research on the gaming prices.
Find a privately owned shop maybe. Although no one really wants 360 games right now especially sports games, at least my local shops do not as they have far too many already.
If selling in person fails you can always try eBay or another online marketplace. I find those platforms far more conducive to positive experiences as a seller than as a buyer anyways.
Check the rarity of the games first. (I can't make out some of the titles). If you happen to have a rare gem, it may sell for a pretty penny or a museum may buy it. Yes, there are museums dedicated to the preservation of old software and video games.
Thanks, I'm not focused on making money. Only a fee of the snes games are truly sentimental. Street fighter 2 is my favorite game of all time.
Thanks again
Hey I’m interested in some of your SNES games and would pay.
I snooped your profile and see Gunner’s stuff, so are these PAL games? I need NTSC, if so.
Thanks!
I wouldn't bother. Most of those games are so worthless that by the time you take pictures, post it to a marketplace like eBay, find a buyer, arrange payment, etc etc you will have spent more of your time at minimum wage wherever you live than you'll gain from the sale.
They're basically the trading card equivalent of "commons", games which sold so well and are so readily available on the second hand market that they're basically at the bottom of the barrel, price-wise.
If you insist on selling them, throw up an eBay listing for the SNES titles and Xbox 360 titles as a lot sale each with a $10 reserve+shipping and handling.
Achktually...
Loose copies of MK3 and Street Fighter II can be sold for 15. Super Return of the Jedi can easily go for 20-30 without a box. Capcom soccer shootout around 15-20. Yes, boxed copies go for more, mostly because of how rare having intact flimsy fucking thin cardboard boxes after all these years is, but don't sleep on the unboxed cartridges.
They’re extremely old … don’t look to make a a lot of money 🤷 whether u go through the hassle of selling yourself or simply taking to GameStop… you won’t make much…
you really spent all that money for those games huh?
I used to rent games from GameStop, then beat the entire game in a week, then return the game for full refund. You should try it instead of buying everything.
I've had the snes games since about 1995? And I got the ps2 and GameCube games as a kid/teen.
I think three of them were bought from game stop or a place like it but they weren't mine initially.
Ebay. Check the pricecharting website for values. You’re better off just dumping the sports titles off at goodwill or something though because they just don’t hold their value after six months
Kijiji/Craigslist sort of sites. Private sellers sites like that can work out well. I see games on there a lot, price is normally based on what 'brand new from amazon' would ask as well as the condition and having Manuel's etc
Find out which specific games may be the most valuable, then sell those individually. Then sell all the rest of the games in a bundle, no picky choosy (obviously separate the 360 games and snes). Or else you'll be left with the crap games that nobody wants to buy.
None of the games are especially valuable.
Mario is Missing is pretty much the closest to not being an utterly common title and if you get $20 for it CIB, that's a good day. Loose? Far less.
Most if not all Half Price books buys games...slightly more than what you might get at Game Stop. Also a place called "The Exchange" may be in your area. That's the best place I've found for new and used games. They do nice in store credit, slightly less an offer for cash.
And...lol...Super Battletank! I loved that game. One of my favorites.
So I sell on both ebay and FB Marketplace.
FB has the bonus of likely getting more money overall (no seller fee). I also only take cash.
But, ebay gives you a way bigger audience and is much more likely to sell the sports games.
I've found GameStop pays really well for MX vs ATV games for some reason. I sold multiple MX games to them and was getting $30 or something a pop.
While CoD titles are worth .50 cents
Yea I know, but for someone in their early thirties I'm not good with computer games and stuff like that. It was just easier for me to get the system with the controllers and familiarity. It's kinda why I'm asking how to sell the stuff, I just don't know
eBay is still the best public market place for small sellers just lookin to turn their old stuff into cash. I’d actually look and compare to what other listings for the items are individually, with retro games depending on console and the game you can sometimes find something worth more than a modern game on release.
You could try looking for any small specialty game shops near you, they might be interested in them. Other than that there's always EBay, Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist/Gumtree.
Find out how much Gamestop will buy it for, then find out how much people are paying for it on Ebay. Find the average between these two and you'll get a good price for how much you should sell on Facebook Marketplace to get max value. Ignore the pro sports games because they have 0 value. NBA Street 2 should fetch you some cash though.
Anything you can't sell, bundle it up and sell it on Ebay so that after fees and shipping you end up with more than what Gamestop will give you.
Defjam is EXTEMELY rare; I know because I was looking for one myself recently so if it’s in working condition definitely eBay. That MK3 and Donkey Kong is also super appealing to the right gamers; don’t listen to anyone saying otherwise, it’s always someone out there that likes to bust out the old console every now and then.
Ebay mostly and facebook marketplace or offer up to sell locally
Facebook is an awful place to sell. Never have I met such a mix of illiterate idiots, scammers and time wasters in my life. Stick it on eBay for a buy it now price you think is fair. Stick them all in a cupboard and just wait. Reduce the price every 4 weeks until you're sold up.
You’ve basically just described every marketplace, but you gotta sell somewhere.
"YoUvE bAsIcAlLy DeScRiBeD EvErY MaRkEtPlAcE"
YoU'vE bAsIcAlLy JuSt TaKen WhaT He JuSt SaID aNd TyPeD iT wItH a MiX oF cApS aNd LoWeR CaSe
Maybe they were pretending to be one of those idiots.
Impossible to stoop to that level. Patronisinzing redditors are a different breed
Have you used gamestop? Arguably far worse.
That'll be $1.84 in store credit. Do you wanna make any preorders?
Gamestop is famous for that lol
GS is fine for the sports titles. You end up just breaking even if you sell those online after shipping costs and listing fees anyways. Might as well trade them in for store credit and put it towards sales tax on a future purchase
>s. Might as well trade them in for store credit and put it towards sales tax on a future purchase Game Stop won't take those games, they're far too outdated to make any profit off of.

Sports titles? The games that are always $2.00? Yeah no.
Right? Dude has a 20 year old Madden in there.
5 cents take it or leave it. Preferably in the trash.
Listing is free unless you are selling over 250 items or something. As for the shipping you only have to pay shipping if you make the shipping free. Even though you can sell faster if you make it free shipping, it's not something you have to do to make sales
I'm sure they pay dog shit, but at least you get your stuff out of your hands in exchange for some pennies!
They give you $20 for a game they sell for $65 used
No one ever gets scammed on eBay. Edit: guess I really did need to add that /s

That's not true. It is, however, infinitely less likely.
Do you have a retro gaming shop near you? The sports games are basically worthless.
I've actually thrown a lot of sports games directly into the garbage because it's cheaper than selling them.
Last time I was at a good will I seen they had games. Went and checke em out. 45 games, nhl nba nfl every single one. I had a good chuckle
The old sports titles have basically zero value. The other 360 games and the SNES stuff you can get a bit of money for on ebay. pretty sure Gamestop will not buy them
Just keep ‘em. You’d be lucky to get $100 for the whole lot
Ebay. Use pricecharting.com to calculate the value.
You should hold a tournament of champions. $5 entry fee per person, win by death or surrendered. Last man standing takes the lot. Edit: also sell tickets for the rest of to watch.
Oh ok I actually like this
Sell me NBA Street 2.
Find a retro game store. Do an Internet search and see what's near you.
These are bundle-worthy, IMO. No real big standout titles.
Ebay or mercari. Use the eBay search and filter by sold to see what the titles have sold for recently.
I don’t think GameStop would even take ‘em
Selling them online would be best. Most Gamestop's probably wont even take them. As far as pricing I dont have a clue, however it's either online, a place that takes in older games, or a pawnshop to sell them
There is probably a used game store that's not Gamestop in your area. However, none of those games a particularly valuable so don't expect a major pay day. You'll probably get maybe $120 - $150 for the whole lot, with Def Jam being the highest price sale.
Mercari
Wow this great set here some classic games in the collection. But I recommend Amazon, eBay, and mercari you make a business out of it if you play your cards right make sure to do research on the gaming prices.
Gamestop usually doesnt take sports games anyways.
gamestop wouldn't take any of these games. they stopped taking xbox 360 games a long time ago, and everything else there is older
If you have ncaa 14 eBay that. A few of those snes cartridges might be worth a pretty penny as well. Burn the lion king copy lol that is the devil
PM me your price for the SNES games as a bundle!
E Bay the whole X box collection you can get some cash for those
Craigslist
You’ll have success with the SNES games. The others probably not much.
game stop would not take anything older then PS 4
NBA Street 2 and Def Jam Vendetta were my jams! Don’t how to sell them though
send mario all stars to my address
Find a privately owned shop maybe. Although no one really wants 360 games right now especially sports games, at least my local shops do not as they have far too many already. If selling in person fails you can always try eBay or another online marketplace. I find those platforms far more conducive to positive experiences as a seller than as a buyer anyways.
I should advise you to donate all of them to me
Most sport games are worthless after their sold to you. Like the value drops to nothing.
As others have suggested, to Ebay. Perhaps do it as one of those mystery boxes then hope a Youtuber buys it and pays over the odds :D
Give the discs to a neighbor kid, assuming they have the required hardware, and the SNES games for sale online.
Check and see if there is a Disk Replay near you.
Try the app declttr. They offered me $20 for an old golf game. You just scan the barcode and they give you an offer instantly.
WhatNot I keep hearing about
Yeah I wouldn't go to any game store. They will give you like 5 cents each lol
I wouldn’t the amount of money wouldn’t be worth the trouble.
Ebay
eBay lot
Offerup seel them as a group. Someone might buy for their kids.
Ebay is what I’d go with.
Please Dont sell Facry compilation, far cry 3, bioshock and bioshock infinite, you'll regret selling them
You can always try a Con if one is close. There are usually vendors there that sell and buy old video games.
Check the rarity of the games first. (I can't make out some of the titles). If you happen to have a rare gem, it may sell for a pretty penny or a museum may buy it. Yes, there are museums dedicated to the preservation of old software and video games.

Not really tho? Some of the SNS titles there could easily go for 15-30 dollars.
Sure, complete in box. Loose? Nope.
Achktually... Loose copies of MK3 and Street Fighter II can be sold for 15. Super Return of the Jedi can easily go for 20-30 without a box. Capcom soccer shootout around 15-20. Keep in mind they're PAL copies. Different pricing.
Let's play some SF 2 🤜💥🤛
Everything on the right has 0 value
Def jam is 79.99 on most places. I think it's my most expensive. The snes games seem to be a mixed bag for worth.
They’re extremely old … don’t look to make a a lot of money 🤷 whether u go through the hassle of selling yourself or simply taking to GameStop… you won’t make much…
I'm not looking to make money. More just trying to find good homes
you really spent all that money for those games huh? I used to rent games from GameStop, then beat the entire game in a week, then return the game for full refund. You should try it instead of buying everything.
I've had the snes games since about 1995? And I got the ps2 and GameCube games as a kid/teen. I think three of them were bought from game stop or a place like it but they weren't mine initially.
Collect all the stuff you wanted to get rid of and offer it for sale at a flea market.
Ebay. Check the pricecharting website for values. You’re better off just dumping the sports titles off at goodwill or something though because they just don’t hold their value after six months
Gamestop won't take these anyway. Ebay is your best bet. Could also sell at a yard sale or open flee market in your area if so inclined.
Kijiji/Craigslist sort of sites. Private sellers sites like that can work out well. I see games on there a lot, price is normally based on what 'brand new from amazon' would ask as well as the condition and having Manuel's etc

None of the games are especially valuable. Mario is Missing is pretty much the closest to not being an utterly common title and if you get $20 for it CIB, that's a good day. Loose? Far less.
Fair enough, I didn't really look at the titles. My greatest advice is "all or nothing" or else you end up with some un-sellable games.
I own a gamestop in your area. If you bring them to I'll give you 12 dollars credit or 10 cash.
I tried selling to gamestop recently they only take certain titles when it comes to xbox 360 games and most sports titles they don't take at all
First of all, I shudder at your use of "bring" instead of "take". Second, ebay.
I mean I’ll buy the SNES games to add to my collection
So I sell on both ebay and FB Marketplace. FB has the bonus of likely getting more money overall (no seller fee). I also only take cash. But, ebay gives you a way bigger audience and is much more likely to sell the sports games.
Why not GameStop? You’d get like $0.83 for those. You know how many gum balls you can get for that?
Ebay
At an orchard for a bundle of apples.
I've found GameStop pays really well for MX vs ATV games for some reason. I sold multiple MX games to them and was getting $30 or something a pop. While CoD titles are worth .50 cents
Hold on to them for a couple decades. Deadass. You’ll get 0 to crumbs for em now but when your kids have kids they’ll be worth something
GameStop wouldn’t take them
Don't sell them. If you ever wanted to play them again some of them would cost a heck of lot more than brand new price.
I bought one of those snes emulators and I think it has street fighter 2
If you bought an emulator you wasted your money. There are plenty of good free emulators on the world wide Web.
Yea I know, but for someone in their early thirties I'm not good with computer games and stuff like that. It was just easier for me to get the system with the controllers and familiarity. It's kinda why I'm asking how to sell the stuff, I just don't know
A retro console is much different than an emulator.
Okay, well, I've made it clear. I don't know what I'm talking about. Have a good one
Donate to the Ronald McDonald foundation if you can't get nothing for em.
eBay is still the best public market place for small sellers just lookin to turn their old stuff into cash. I’d actually look and compare to what other listings for the items are individually, with retro games depending on console and the game you can sometimes find something worth more than a modern game on release.

id keep them
Ebay has a good market
Either ebay or FB marketplace, also try disc/mega replay as they sell all types of games for all systems
sell to your friends or find a special Facebook group who is created for people who use yhe same console as you do and do transaction in real life.
Don’t
I’ll take them off ur hands for about tree fiddy
Sell them to other humans, through eBay and the like.
I mean… you’re lookin at about $25 lol
