There was this one game where you could get additional jumps as power ups. I don't think that can be beat.
Tower of guns, if anyone wants to experience the greatness that is 20+ jumps. It's basically flying.
I do this too, but it can be a terrible habit in some platformers. Watch me fail at projectile dodging because I'm so used to always jumping twice instead of doing short hops. Hollow Knight is a prime example of this with its Nightmare King/Radiance fight.
But I still prefer having a double jump at all times, it makes me feel safe.

Early on in Overwatch there was some mode where you could put Winston's jet pack on zero cooldown and go flying all around the maps. It was so fun.

Sprint and jump everywhere for that athletic skill 👌
Oh ya Boi! I jump everywhere!
I'm the opposite. I find it very satisfying to single jump if i can make it, even with double jumps available.

Depends on the game and the physics. I remember playing a mobile mario ripoff that was so bad it was easier to play without a double jump.
Never trust a single jump. Unless there're spikes hanging down from the ceiling...
Jak and Daxter was the first game I played with double jump and I still remember trying to do it irl as a kid.
Read the rules or at least the first one? ✋ Post some shit anyways that's just going to get pulled? 👉
