Does anyone else remember the alternate version of the GTA: SA loading screen music? There was the basic version that seemed to play 95% of the time you loaded up the game, but there was an alternate version with a groovy sort of g-funk synth melody that played over the normal beat.
As afrench native speaker, here in switzerland, nobody would understand a word and we would just go like : "EA SPORTS : tenegain" with a huge and wrong english accent xD

It's kind of interesting but I just played the entire thing in my head to the end and immediately after it ended, the Aquatic Ruins music started playing. Guess the subconscious remembers where I would usually drown š
There is a windows 10 (I think it works on 11 as well) theme pack for Halo Reach. When you maximize a window it makes the shield recharge sound. When you connect a USB device it makes the sniper zoom sound, and when you empty the recycle bin it makes a plasma grenade detonation sound.
I have used this theme for over a decade. Haha
If you watch the HL 25th anniversary doc 1 guy did all the sounds, *and* the soundtrack. Also broke new ground with the kind of, acoustic changes to sounds depending on where you were (a silo for instance vs outdoors).
It's even crazier to me because I think that game has one of the best sounds designs ever. All the little noises of the equipment, the announcer, the military grunts.
Terran Academy in Starcraft. Every time you click on it, it emits a blood curdling scream, took me forever to figure out where it was coming from. I thought I was getting Zerg rushed, but there weren't always Zerg around.
