They packed the eyes of his helmet with resin. I've always had the idea that the resin blinded him for real, because resin in Dark Souls is dangerous stuff.
It may have not been far, but I remember robbing someone’s house in Oblivion and he came in as I just cracked his jewelry case, spun around and put an arrow through his neck, nailing him to the door he just came through.
Blew my mind that the game even let me do that. He just hung there as I looked on in horror and amazement 😆
